Now this man has a serious taste in quality comedy, Also I might add The Thick of It as thats written by the same guy and Nathan Barley as thats written by Chris Morris as welljdbuck said:The Day Today and Brasseye
I think you can watch there on youtube now since Channel 4 did a deal with them.
I'm Alan Partridge
Did it really push the boundaries that much though? I thought that mostly it was a parody of our own society, so getting offended by it seems fairly redundant. Paedo finder general for instance, might seem offensive that he labels people paedophiles and then executes them for it...but we do have a ridiculous paedophile hysteria in the newspapers(which he claims grant him his powers) in England. I just think that if you're offended by Monkey Dust...you haven't really thought things through.AfterAscon said:Monkey Dust was funny but it seriously pushed the boundries of taste. I doubt we'll get anything as sick as that again.Sexual Harassment Panda said:There are more of us than you might think. Someone else on here has the Paedofinder General as his avatar. I do really miss this show, it was just the right kind of sick.jdbuck said:WOW Someone else who saw Monkey Dust!!!!Sexual Harassment Panda said:Black books

I can't believe no one has mentioned the inbetweeners yet either. I can't think of anything else that hasn't already been said.
I'll reiterate some stand up comedians though:
Jimmy Carr - not for the easily offended, he will make a joke about anything. Really anything!
Michael McIntyre
Peter Kay
Lee Evans
Ed Byrne (okay, he's actually Irish, but one of the world's best)
This Monty Python is Amazing.EspirituExterminatus said:What? No love for Monty Pythons Flying Circus? Bah, kids these days.
Vicar of Dibley, seriously the best brittish comedy i've seen, and i've seen a few.TheJackel2008 said:Hello fellow Escapist!
Just as the title says. I have seen Only Fools and Horses, The Young Ones, Bottom, Love Thy Neighborhood, Little Britain, Father Ted and 2D TV. But I want to see some others, I'm personally not into The Office (I dislike Ricky) and not really a big fan of Mighty Boosh. So recommend me some comedies
Ha, my intention was to agree with your choices, but then I thought that it would be easier to find a show if it's spelt correctly (from personal experience). I didn't mean to come across as a spelling nazi.Tiny116 said:You quoted me for that???rees263 said:Fixed. It is a brilliant show though.Tiny116 said:Though.
