Have your other schoolkids boycott the school until she is either

A) banned from entering the school

B) people stop listening to her

You all can simply issue a statement to the school and stay home, or protest on the school's lawns with signs and such. Other methods include:

1) Talk to school officials during and after school.

2) If your school has one, ask the principal to bring it up at your weekly School Meeting.

3) Bring it to the school board.

What ever you do, crush her. And then tell us about it. I feel warmth in my heart when I crush religious nutjobs.

Also, I'll edit this if I can think of other ideas of what to do.

It's morons like this that make Christians look bad.

For the record, however, most Christian haters are similarly stupid to assume this is what every believer is like: "preaching hate" and forcing beliefs on others is not common practice, it's simply the most publicized, and it is definitely not in line with what the Bible actually teaches. People like this lady are messed up.

These threads are interresting, for every poster who makes a rational comment on how games do not effect a persons level of aggresion there are ten posters below him/her who claim that the woman in the OP should be killed using some medieval form of execution, and still we wonder where people get the idea that gamers are violent.

Disclaimer: I do not think that gaming and violence correlate, apart from giving people a means to vent their aggression.

Short of ignoring her, I'm too afraid to tell you much else. Religion is a touchy topic and, quite frankly, I'm not in the mood for a war because of my opinion.

Seriously dude, just ignore her. People like that will never go away.

Another solution is to try and argue with her using a cool and calm head along with a good amount of logic until she freaks and hits you... problem solved.

lol in all honesty that would probably work.
It worked when people from the church near by house came round trying to convert people, i told them half the truth and half a big fat like. I said "i'm afraid i'm already a member of the anglican church but now i've turned to satan muhahahahaha". I've never seen people move so fast in all my life. So i say i agree go for the well i am a satanist idea.

Separation of church and state should be able to take care of this one. If not, this is the kind of issue that the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster likes to get involved in. If things start getting out of hand, you can always post your school's predicament on their web page;

I'm sure quite a few individuals would love to help out. It's the kind of help that gets school boards a few hundred letters a day, mind you. Be careful.

I wish you luck in defending your 1st amendment rights! (if you live in the United States that is...)
I really can't understand if they're joking or not... o_O

Seems to me this woman is insane. Have her committed to an asylum and have her kid taken off her. Then visit her and say where's your god now ***** making sure she is fully aware it was you who did this to her. Spread rumors around her church that she is a satanist and she bathes in the blood of the dead. Then give an anonymous tip to the IRS that she is tax dodging. You could steal a car and frame her for it. Or even better, make it look like she kidnapped you because you didn't agree with her religion. Basically completely destroy her life. It'll be fun, go for it ;D
Or you could take the boring route and debate it logically and complain to the principle and all the other people already mentioned you should complain to, but where is the fun in that eh?
Or if you want, next time i'm in the states i'll kill her for you

Yes and even if she can prove it didn't happen... no one will look at her the same way again...

Extremism of any kind is a terrible thing whether it is a religious extremist or an ultra atheist. They just do this shit to stir the pot and get attention. I hate it when dipshits like this give the rest of us Christians a bad name.

Argument: "I have the right to religion"

THE ONE WEAKNESS OF THE FANATICALLY RELIGIOUS RESIDES BELOW

Logic. Go talk to the crazy ***** and calmly and methodically tear down her entire argument. If she screams and rants then tell her that anger is not condoned by her God (make sure to include the word 'her' as it implies that there are other God(s) of equal importance which goes against her monotheistic approach). Also tell her that whenever she goes to church and worships God, that she is worshipping a false God as by her beliefs, God is beyond our logic and yet the fact that humans (priests) can somehow know the mind of God (main reference being that if you confess God forgives, if you don't you go to hell (as this approach implies that his logic is, in fact, quite simple to understand)).

IN SUMMARY: Use logic against her to destroy her entire argument but do it calmly and rationally. Also make sure to, in a semi-subtle way, imply that her beliefs are stupid (the key is to say it politely and almost as a side comment so that it is harder to respond to because she will have to figure out what was meant first and by that time you are aleady destroying the next part of her argument)
EDIT: ooh, ooh, ooh I came up with another argument to use (as it is best to keep them on edge by constantly changing the focus of the argument). Bring to her attention the fact that her God 'supposedly' gave people free will and by attempting to force her beliefs on others she is attempting to take away God's gift to you.
I found some small weaknesses she can exploit!
1) the concept of a god cannot be tied to logic, she will wave it away.
2) as she believes there is only one god, she will assume the implication of there being more a flaw in your argumentation.

Using philosophy might be a way to counter this (existentialism, perhaps), though I'm uncertain it will work in your favor.

1. Get a stake.
2. Tie her to it.
3. Burn her at it.
4. Tell everyone your imaginary friend (she's alled Anya, and she's a duck, a magic duck) that you worship told you to.
5. Have everyone realise that unless she can actually prove her God is real, and actually told her to remove those things, she has no right to interfere in anyone else's lives, just like you had no right to burn her, but maintain that while she can't prove that, and doesn't have the right to interfere in other people's lives, it goes both ways. No on else is allowed to interfere with her life because of their beliefs, no matter if it's another diety, the same diety, science, or a magic duck called Anya.

Disclaimer: No, I'm not actually advocating crime, I'm not comparing her beliefs, or any religion to believing in magic ducks that tell people to kill other people.

well from a legal stand point she can't displace such entertainment without a petition with enough signatures for the school district to actually listen. Though, if the school decides to do it despite that, you can have all the students that actually care sign a petition and submit it to the guy in charge (some schools have different names for the principal)... Or you could just beat the shit out of her religious zealot spawn and continue doing so until she backs off...

I hate to be controversial here, but all religious fruit-cakery aside you shouldn't be playing counter-strike or reading comic books in school hours (even in your 'free' time). Outside of school, fine, but in school you should be studying. It's called trying to make the most out of your potential.

Ah, you must misunderstand the goal of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Whenever religious extremists try and pull something like this in schools, they flood the same school demanding that they represent all religious organizations (including theirs), and not just the Christian religion, as we are a country of equal rights without a state sanctioned religion. Their main goal is to keep creationism from being taught in science classes, but this issue isn't a far stretch from their goals.

No one honestly believes their mythos, but it's a very good front for what they hope to accomplish. And honestly, their version of the 10 commandments, called The Eight "I'd Really Rather You Didn'ts," are really something to live by.

I am a devout Christian, and I think this woman is in the wrong. You have the right to believe what you want, and I have the right as well. But I have no right to enforce my beliefs on you. I believe in evangelism, but what she wanted was censorship.

This is exactly why I'm nondenominational: many denominations have radical ideas such as forbidding dancing, caffeine, and any song not sung by a Christian. Well I dance, guzzle Amp and listen to Metallica, so I don't mingle much. =D

"I can do what I want as long as I say God told me to do it!"
- Religious extremist

I'm in a bit of a pickle. In my high school, we are allowed to download and play games, borrow comics (Japanese and American alike) from the library, and do whatever during free time. It rocks, somewhat. But out of the blue (or maybe there was a build up I'm not sure), a parent decided that she should throw her beliefs all over the school. She's trying to get all the comics out of the library because of references to Satanism and evil and ooh scary stuff, and delete all the games (a lot of computers have steam for gaming during free breaks. you need a special pass though) because guns were created by the devil or something.

Now, i'm all for freedom of speech or the right to believe anything you want, but when you think that God told you himself that you should save this school for the evils of entertainment (or should I say enterTAINTment) then you've got to be a little loony. And yes, folks, she did say that. Here are some quotes from her letter the teacher sent out, its part of a 'parents speak' section in the newsletter:

"Kids these days are being controlled by the evil that is contained within the manga and comics. I do not allow my son(Poor guy) to partake in these activities because they take time away from what is truly important - the love of God. Every day I come to pick up my son I see the children absorbed in killing people and reading about the devil. I want to do what I can to help these kids realize the waste of their soul. Together we can overcome this addiction (Apparently to her an addiction is something you somewhat enjoy and have done more than once).

So what do you think of this, Escapist? Wait, before you answer I've prepared a FAQ for expected questions.

1. Let her do what she wants you have no right to stop her what if someone ______ YOUR _____?
This affects me and lots of other people in a negative way. She strongly opposes entertainment for some reason, but entertainment is a psychological need, and you go batshit bonkers without it.

2.-insert personal religious opinion-
I won't force my religious beliefs on you. Don't force yours on me, and we're cool.

3. She's right games and comics are a waste of time get rid of them throw them away BURN THEM!
Video games and comics are not a waste of time. Not only is the entertainment portion important, but video games and comics actually have numerous overlooked health benefits, from eyesight improvement to just making you a nicer person.
4. If someone believes that God told them something to do then what's wrong?
Why the hell would God tell you to do this? It makes no sense, regardless of your religious affiliation...unless, of course, you're an extremist who does not care for logical reasoning.
