That episode of Hey Arnold where Arnold discovers the truth about his parents always put a tear in my eye.

And I can't be the only one who thinks losing David Tennant in Doctor Who has got to be one of the saddest moments in television history.
I know! He was awesome as The Doctor!
Did you know that wanting to play The Doctor is what got him into acting in the first place? I'm seriously gonna miss him.

Elfen Lied was tragic. Watch it and feel conflicting emotions over the central female character.

The finale of Battlestar Galactica, and the annoying part is it was bittersweet sadness so you can't even feel properly upset about it, I'm not one for tears but I was crying like a baby before the end. :(

Dr Who as well has some pretty sad moments, the part where the Doctor runs out of power saying goodbye to Rose make me feel like I'd been punched in the stomach, and the finale to the episode where David Tennant left was pretty damn emotional.

When David Tennant died as the doctor. I didn't want him to go either (not gay)! :(
Same here, I got very teary-eyed at the end of that episode. Great ending, but very sad.

It's a toss up between that episode of Futurama...with the dog (I've seen that episode twice and on both occasions I wept like a faucet) and as a fan of Red Dwarf I've got to put in the finale of back to earth, where Lister can either die happy with the illusion of Kochansky or go on drifting through space forever with his three mis-match mates.

'Jurassic Bark' has a deeply emotional ending, catches me off guard everytime.

And I can't pull myself ogether whenever I'm watching the finale of 'Six Feet Under'. It's unbelievably bittersweet after following the Fishers for five years...

When the Irishman stole the baby... you know what I'm talking about if you've seen it.
That was complete bullshit! Why would they end *SPOILER* like that? I love that show. Can't wait for season 3.

The season 2 and season 4 finales of Doctor Who absolutely shredded me.

Those really did it, all the season enders do, but the real killer is...

During the "End of Time" Special, when Wilfred ominously knocks four times, sealing The Doctors fate, and then the last tearful "I don't want to go." as he finally dies alone in the Tardis.
