Candy.

It stars Heath Ledger and a young actress who's name I forget. It's about two lovers who live together who are also heroin addicts, over the course of the story it goes through three acts. First it's Heaven which is them back at a time when everything was perfect, Earth when the difficulty starts to show up and life becomes more tough and finally Hell were everything has fallen apart completely.

It broke my heart so much throughout, no other movie has ever made me quite that sad.

I'd have to go with Castaway, with Tom Hanks. It's just depressing and tragic really, but a good movie.

I might actually check that out.

I can't really remember crying, like really crying at a movie, but I think the closest I came to crying was Forrest Gump.

I personally thought several sections of Saving Private Ryan were quite sad...I liked the movie I just thought it was sad.

I cried throughout it.
Good god...

"It is you fault my baby is DEAD!"

and also...

"Tell me when you're ready."

I just watched that movie recently. The ending was like a point blank kick in the nuts. I mean, did he really needed her to take off her shoes that bad? *Shivers.*

How the director went from that to Pineapple Express I'll never know.

My vote has to go to About Schmidt. It's the only movie where I can remember tearing up at the end.
The whole thing just oozes sadness and loneliness.

When Wilbur gets lost.
No other movie has ever made me sad.
I think you meant Wilson.

Normally a small issue, but that scene, that heartbreaking scene needs to be right.
The fact that this movie can make you sad over a VOLLEYBALL just speaks to its greatness. Defiantly one of my favorites.

More on topic: Its gotta be The Road for me... amazing moive but fuck... don't watch that if you are even a little suicidal lol, so depressing.

Probably Grave of the Fireflies.

or maybe When the Wind Blows.

I also wibbled quite a bit during Toy Story 3.

Into the Wild. Not the actual end, but the scene before it, where his sister is talking about how she doesn't know who he really is anymore. The actual end is kinda supposed to be happy in a sense. Also, it isn't as sad, but click was a really fucking depressing movie toward the end. Like Jesus Christ that movie was a comedy, then it turned into a heart-wrenching emotional drama.

Mostly due to the mother who ended up in the insane asylum.
Mostly due to the whole damn thing. I bought that movie for some reason. It was good, but I really don't want to watch it again. And it's not one of those movies where friends come over and say "Hey lets pop in a movie. How about Requiem For A Dream? I was feeling really good about my day and I just hate that feeling."
