Grave of the Fireflies: I've only seen this movie ONCE, and its the only movie that I never want to see again since its so sad.

Up: I thought this movie was going to be funny and happy, I thought wrong. DEAD WRONG.

Of Mice and Men: The book is so awesome, but the movie version is exactly how I thought it would be.

Toy Story 3: This movie was the PERFECT end to my childhood, and the one certain "humid" scene broke my disbelief, and truly, made me ask what happens to toys after they die? And the end made me tear up a bit too.

People keep citing Grave of the Fireflies. What happens at the end that is so sad?

I agree that the beginning montage for UP is very sad, but the most depressing movie I've ever seen is by far Grave of the Fireflies. That thing is cripplingly depressing.
