Wow really I am surprised noone has mentioned this one but here it goes, the saddest movie I ever saw was "Ladder 49" I almost went into tears over how sad that was.
This? Really... This? Dear christ your either the most slovenly emotional fanboy ever if you even consider that movie to be on par with the others, let alone tear inducing, or your so emotionally shallow that only lame and sappy story lines that are told much better in a thousand other movies can register a bleep. Could you think of nothing else?xXAsherahXx said:What is the saddest movie you have ever seen in the history of your life? My choice would be Star Wars: Episode III. When Anakin is turned to the dark side, and kills those kids, and later Padme, I came the closest to crying in that movie than I have in my life.
I don't consider it to be even remotely on par with any of the others. It is the worst of the six, but it is sad dammit.Wintermute_ said:This? Really... This? Ya, I'm chugging Hatorade for episode 3 and your choice.
Also, while grave of the fireflies was "good", it wasn't tearful for me. Honestly, it was just to strait-forward and sad, morbid, grim, and generally awful for me to cry. It was stunning, the indifference of the adults. A must see, but its just too blunt for tears. It makes you sad tho...
