Guy I have to drop from the game. I cannot grasp what exactly is going on, and I am in the wrong timezone to keep up with voting and whatnot.

So just put a bullet in my head, or something.
YUSH! That means less comeptition!
Oh, what joyous happy day this is. I do believe that we need some MLG music to celebrate this

@CriticalGaming: If you're struggling to vote you can always just send FPLOON a long list of choices. That way you can miss a vote but still vote, if that makes any sense. And don't worry about keeping up with the thread; most of it is useless trash talk that to be honest you're better off not reading.

Wikipedia doesn't do it justice. Some of the older chemistry journals can be entertaining to read. Here's one on phenylphosphine [https://books.google.com/books?id=HEY9AAAAYAAJ&pg=PA389&dq=phenylphosphine&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjeirv7osnLAhVDYpoKHQm_DagQ6AEILTAB#v=onepage&q=phenylphosphine&f=false]. To quote page 389:

[Phenylphosphine] is a colourless liquid boiling at 160-161 and possessing a most repulsive, penetrating smell, which is so intense that mere opening of a flask containing the compound is sufficient to contaminate the air of a tolerably large room.
That's chemist talk for, "I made the compound and everyone in the room yelled at me because it smelled so bad."

I'm curious what compound you're working with that smells like "rotten coffee in an old leather boot and then vomited on it". I could talk about the smells of odd chemicals for probably longer than I should.
I always enjoyed how papers walk around just outright stating "it made me want to puke", you always get such interesting descriptions. I'll have to see if I have an old product paper somewhere at home - I was an RA for a PhD student at the time, so I only really handled the stuff rather than actually studying it. It just happened to make very stiff bubbles ideal for mixing into concrete. The other compound actually smelt like cheap shaving cream, so it was kind of pleasant.

The description of the smell comes from how startlingly similar it smelled to an incident in my first year dorm where someone puked coffee liqueur into a pair of stank-ass workboots.

Substance has an emetic effect when inhaled.

Pharmacists, thinking they can chemistry and taking the fun out of it since Apothecaries went out of fashion.

Oh, being active is the sign of a guilty conscience? In that case, I'm screwed I guess

It's more about trying to read unusual behavior in other players to indicate whether they could be the Killer or not. This is your first game, so we can't read you yet anyway. But if someone like me, who tends to be somewhat active, was suddenly completely silent in a game, people might think I was trying to be inconspicuous and get ignored by the other players, so that I don't get voted for. People would interpret this as me being a possible Killer.

Of course, 95% of the time it's bullshit, but when straws are all you have to grasp at, that's what you do.

I think someone pointed this out already (and I may be completely wrong because I am a noob), but I think in this one, the Lawyer was assigned at random, and not picked by the Killer. I think, I'm not sure.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Logic. Put it away, put it away! There will be none of that now. You obviously are a mattress, so I'll let it slide. You might be a diplomat and I can not have another sanction from Sqornshellous Zeta. Run along now.

Who'd off their own lawyer? Me or Wary would, thought I can't be it because I'm both not on the spy list and NO ONE WOULD BE THAT CRAZY TO LET ME DO THAT AGAIN. So, Wary is your killer. Case closed. Good game everyone.

WHERE IS MY COOKIE?

@Armadox:
Spy list? What spy list? FPLOON was awesome enough to eliminate the spy role as soon as I offed my lawyer to even the odds. How nice of him. Any spy list you've got is probably falsified. Particularly considering: a. You're not on it. and b. I might possibly have some people working for me...

Your cookie is your upcoming murderification! Or maybe not... FPLOON! Give me the voting results so I can gloat over this lot for voting for the wrong person!

That is.. actually very, very true. I am always on the spy list, so this seems correct. So kill Fractral and then Wary.

@NewPlayers: Don't listen to anything Wary Wolf says. He likes making weird claims and spreading confusion. You should probably vote for Wary Wolf just to be safe. If he's actually on Team Evil, great, and if he isn't, we're still better off without him.

I however is absolutely trustworthy. I'm not even playing the same game as you.

I don't even consider you a player anymore. You're more like an NPC with a well-programmed AI and a ton of RNG behind your actions.

Yikes, this is already gettin' bloodthirsty, what with throwing virtually each other under the bus. This really IS Game of Thrones
