Your school, probably your form tutor (do they still call them that?) would probably the best place to go first. They should refer you on to social services etc..

Fining a job would give you more independence, but realistically finding one at the moment is going to be tough. Worth a shot though.

And finally to all though criticising her for asking for advice, she's 16 for f*cks sake! Not many people already have the necessary knowledge to move out at 16 and not land themselves in deep trouble, it's not unreasonable that she is asking for advice.

my mum is throwing me out the house for various reasons i'd rather not list.
I'm 16.
I don't have a job.
my only source of income is £30 a week from my school & £40 a month from my dad (which will now, likely, stop)

I was planning to go to a university near London because it's well known for being good at providing the course I'm after. Moving from Glasgow to London is a pretty big jump for me. This set her off and she told me that I'm "going to need the fucking practice".

Speak to the council. In all seriousness, Explain to them your situation & they may be able to help.

It's a big music festival in the UK without a lot of the mainstream stuff, mostly bands that aren't mainstream but are quite popular with their own fan following. Hence named because a fair amount of their sales will have come through dowloads rather than CD sales.

If you manage to find housing, make heavy use of charity shops and IKEA. Coffee table for a fiver. Fo' sho'.

First get someplace warm. Either find shelter or migrate.
If you choose migrate, hitchhike in metropolitan areas and ride the rails in the sticks.
Find nonprofits along the way (churches, YMCA, etc.) don't go to shelters most guys in there just got out of the joint.
Find work, any work, and build yourself back up.

i dont exactly know what you did - but thinking its something terrible, like setting fire to your aunts house i'd probably do something like this:

ponder over my possibilities for some time.
try and talk with both my parents.
(if that doesnt work) ask relatives and friends.
(if that doesnt work) seek work like water in the desert, find the cheapest apartment possible and devote myself to getting out of my current education alive.

or in short - face the facts, learn from your mistake, man up and grow from the hard journey it will send you on.

You might want to look at what social programs are available to you. You DON'T have to be on the street. Not at your age.

It might not be optimal but if you work hard you can easily bring yourself out of it.

Worst comes to worst you can march down to the local police department, say you were thrown out and you just don't know what to do. They will get some sort of social worker to put you on the right track.

I did not do anything terrible.
Worst I've ever done is allowing my room to get messy.
I made no mistake. I chose to go to a university far away and I'm not the most tidy of people.
that is ALL i have done wrong.
