Assuming we're talking absolute omnipotence (the way God is usually represented) and removing any possible burdens (because the Big Man makes it look easy), that leaves the recipient of power (me!) akin to a small child who just walked into a huge dark room, and someone flipped on the light. Blind, confused, and likely frightened, I would fap in the corner as my psyche struggled to get a grip (you know, like Jim Carrey in Bruce Almighty, just less PG)
Following that, I would stay true to my human upbringing, give in to avarice, and abuse the powers of an almighty being to poke and prod the human ant farm until it can sustain no more and simply collapses...
But only after I hit QuickSave.

Unleash some holy wrath upon unsuspecting people. I'd be an "Old Testament" kinda god, not some sandle wearing hippy.
I'd test the limits of my powers-find out what exactly God can and can't do. Then, I'll reveal myself on December 21, 2012 just to piss everyone off.

I'd find it very depressing. I think that omnipresence, omnipotence and omniscience sucks the fun out of pretty much every thing.
Sure, I might enjoy wooing the most beautiful women, to drink and eat the finest of things and all of that jazz for a couple of weeks.
But after that, what is there to do?
Mess with people's lives like God did to Job in the Bible? There's no fun in that. I would be Everywhere. I would know Everything. I could do Anything.
Even in the vast emptiness of space I, as a God, would find nothing new and interesting. Because, for me, the vast emptiness of space is less than nothing.

There's actually a book I've read by a fairly decent author, called Diana Wynne Jones (or something) that is somewhat like that lol. Except it's seven, and they're trying to break out of the pattern. But leave the rest in it so they can be the only god. Sorry, it's quite irretrievable right now, I'll try getting it though...joshuaayt said:
