'Hmm...alright then.' Taryn nodded slowly, shifting her gaze from Levi to Brian as she addressed the healer. "Did you have something specific in mind? Anything in particular you want to have or for this weapon to do?" Taryn mentally ran through the list of work spaces currently available. There was a workbench in the garage...that could work. Then again, it depended on what Brian was looking for. "Do you want a melee weapon or a projectile weapon?" she asked. When she finished her question Taryn rose to take her plate to the sink. She returned to the table but remained standing.

"Well...I dunno," Brian admitted. He hadn't really thought that far ahead. He just knew he wanted something that could keep that nutcase at bay. "I guess probably a melee one. I wasn't exactly the sharpshooter when I played hockey. I was more the guy who decked other people. So I'd probably miss with any kind of projectile. So yeah, something I can beat someone with, maybe even slash someone with too, that would be nice. Nice combo option." He was thinking all about it now. It helped ease his mind after his traumatic wake up call.

Within a few minutes of online shopping, Jason had most of his items ordered and ready for delivery.

"Sucks that the remote I had was sold out...oh well. The other one I got should do just fine. Okay...Laptop...ooh, this one looks like an awesome one...great specs...1-day delivery, just like the others...okay! That should be about it! Hopefully the stuff'll be here before we get back." He said in accomplishment, rising from his seat as he shut the computer down.

"And, you gotta get dressed." Erebus reminded Jason as he made his way back to his personal quarters. With a quick change, Jason found himself in a more suitable pair of clothes (the usual graphic tee, skinny jean, hi-top fare), satisfied with his choices before making his way towards back towards the kitchen.

Levi paused and thought for a moment. No projectile weapon, that was understandable. In any case, he didn't feel like working out the problems with making such a weapon anyways. Returning to the issue at hand, Levi wondered what kind of a weapon would work for Brian. Considering his background in hockey, he might be familiar with wielding two-handed weapons. What two-handed weapon best resembled a hockey stick?

Suddenly, an idea hit him. It was a relatively odd sounding idea, but one nonetheless. "Hey, Brian..." Levi started. "...how about a hockey stick-styled battle scythe?" he asked, wondering how the avid hockey fan would take the suggestion.

"Hmmmmmm, yeah. Yeah, I like it!" Brian exclaimed. He was really taking to the idea. "Of course, I already now how to use a hockey stick, this will be perfect, man! Yes! All right! How soon can you make it? Can you make it up quick? I would love to get my hands on something like that as soon as possible!" He was rubbing his hands together. Let's see that Doctor ***** try and get me with this thing! This is going to be sweet!

'A battle-scythe? Interesting.' Taryn smiled briefly at Brian's enthusiasm. "I can create the a rough design fairly quickly," she replied, "but Levi would be the one to tell you about build time." She nodded toward the inventor. Taryn paused as she realized something. "Do you have a hockey stick?" she asked curiously. It would save on time if they could merely enhance an existing object rather than create something from scratch. "We may be able to do some modifications." she explained. In the very least it would provide a solid base to work from.

Steven's glass of whiskey floated on a shining dish, rotating and pouring into his mouth when needed, and orbiting around him when not. He seemed uncomfortable talking to Eric; he hadn't left his room since his return from the mindscape. "Well, Eric...this is just how I move around nowadays. That fight with Victor left me paralyzed. So I just move like this now," he said, floating around Eric as a demonstration.

"Um, yeah, actually, give me one second I'll be right back!" Brian rushed back to his room with the enthusiasm of a kid on Christmas. This would be awesome! He looked around, quickly spotting the composite CCM stick he had been using for the past year or so. It was bound to break soon, but now, it would live on. He picked it up and brought it back out to the couple at the table. "Here you guys go, he told them. It's a composite stick, so the shaft is hollow if you guys can think of anything you want to do with it in there." He passed the stick to Levi for his appraisal.

"I know Alex, but it will go away eventually. Take your time and let me know when or if you're ready." Richard said before picking up the cat and walking to the kitchen to feed it.

Lillian pulled up to the Promenade and walked inside saying a quick hello before looking over the construction. She had been somewhat overlooking it since it all began, and she was pleased with the progress.

Katie frowned a little; Leland had missed her obvious flirt. She elected to try something else, a little more obvious. She got up and followed him, resting one hand on his unoccupied shoulder and leaning her head on it. The other hand went to the collar of his shirt and started playing with it absent-mindedly.

"What I meant was that we'd have the Lodge to ourselves," she said quietly in his ear. "Just you, me... and our clothes in a pile on the floor." She giggled and poked Leland's cheek with the tip of her tongue. "I think you get where I'm going with this."

"I completely do Katie. And the answer is yes, the washer and dryer do work at the Lodge! So you will be able to clean any clothes that have piled up on the floor due to them being dirty. White does get dirty extremely easily. No more heading out to the laundromat for you," Leland replied, doing his best to keep a straight face before flashing her a quick smile.

Garrus was making sure that he had everything in the diaper bag that Renton would need at the park when he saw the child run along the rocking chair and couch towards the lounge doors saying 'mama' loudly. He watched as the child stopped when there was no more furniture to hold on to, the boy standing there for a moment before quickly making his way to his mother.

"Hey he at least didn't start crying when he ran out of furniture," Garrus said with a slight chuckle as he grabbed the bag and walked over to Lillian, "Glad to see you're awake. If you're looking for the toaster it's in the kitchen, in case you were wondering why it had vanished."

Levi took the hockey stick from Brian and examined the sporting implement. As Brian had explained previously, the shaft was in fact hollow, which could leave room for some more high-tech improvements. If nothing could be crammed in there, it could always be reinforced for maximum combat durability. Levi stood up, wielding the stick as if he were holding a scythe.

The stick was surprisingly light and balanced, given its design. Levi had never held a hockey stick before. He expected the blade to be much heavier than the shaft, but it was actually relatively balanced. With the right modifications, it could be a perfectly capable weapon in combat.

"It's a bit worn, but I think we could work with it," Levi said to Brian, giving the hockey stick a quick twirl over his head, stopping just short at Brian's legs. He grinned slightly, feeling significantly better having a distraction. "After a bit of planning, this should turn out great. I'd guess it'd take about a few days to build, depending on how long it takes Taryn to make the plans and whether you want to include any fancy high-tech bells and whistles".

"All right, well yeah, I dunno about anything to add to that," Brian admitted. "You guys are the tech wizards, right? I mean, I could probably ask for it to shoot lightning or something, but that's probably not possible. A few days for it huh?" He thought back. Surely he could hold off the creepy ass doctor until then. The door would be securely locked in place at almost all times. "Well, I know I'm probably getting top of the line craftsmanship for that, right? I mean, I trust you guys. I know you can trick this thing out."

"A lightning bolt would take more parts to power than the stick has room for. But a temporary charge or an electrified blade..." Taryn muttered quietly to herself before clearing her throat. "We should be able to come up with something to your liking." she assured Brian with a smile. Without shifting her gaze Taryn unhooked her phone from her belt and held it in her hand. "I'll show you the rough draft", she continued, "and then you can let me know what you'd liked changed before we start the actual construction." At the end of her statement Taryn frowned slightly and flipped open her phone.

"Oh, you," Katie said with a grin, figuring that he had caught on judging by the attempt at a straight face. She gently squeezed his shoulder and added, to make conversation while they waited, "So what's New Eldorado like? I know it's a city of magic and all, but... it can't be that different from a normal human city or town, right?"

Having finished his coffee and with not much to do at the present time, Rowan got up, put his coffee cup next to the sink and wandered out into the hall, wondering if there was something he could do to pass the time. There was a pile of books in his room, but he had read most of them time and time again; he kept them because he didn't want to give them away or donate them to a charity.

The café at which Erica worked probably wouldn't be open at this hour, so going to visit her was a no-go. In short, Rowan had nothing to do and couldn't get back to sleep, so he continued to wander around the Promenade, waiting for something to happen or someone to come up and talk to him.

Tommy entered the lounge, "Alright, you guys ready to go?" He asked, "Dira should be pulling up soon." A car horn tooted twice outside.

"And that's her, let's go." He said leaving the lounge and heading outside to the driveway, where his sisters bright red Jaguar was waiting.

"Hey mini-bro." Dira chimed as she waved to him.

"Hey sis, uh I some more of my friends wanted to come along, think we'll have enough space for them?" Tommy asked.

"Oh, ya just let me put the roof on and hit the space bender." Dira pressed a button and the Jaguars roof closed off the car. She then hit a button on the dash and motioned for Tommy to come in. Tommy obliged and when he entered he saw that the inside dimensions of the car defied the outside dimensions, what had been a two door car now could carry as many people as a mini-van.

"Nice, when did you add that?" He asked as he settled in to the shotgun seat.

"Last month, me and some friends went on a road-trip in Europe. So where are your friends?"

"Back inside, they'll be out any minute."

After Taryn put her phone away, Levi cleared his throat. "So, I guess we should get to work," he suggested as he lowered the hockey stick, its blade touching the floor. He was actually rather excited to get to work on Brian's hockey stick scythe. A unique idea for a weapon that fit the Canadian man's personality perfectly. "Shouldn't take too long to get a rough draft of the schematics up".

"It's an amazing place. One of my favorite magical cities after Atlantis, that place is the best. I will say that you will be surprised when we get there, totally not what you'd expect," Leland replied to her, hearing Tommy and heading out a bit behind him with Katie. They ran into Ethan on the way there (seemingly he was using the museum's bathroom as his room) and continued out.

Leland whistled when he saw the car and walked over to the driver's seat, giving Dira a quick hug and saying hello. "It's nice to see you again! It certainly has been awhile. Did I ever thank you for helping with getting Tommy out of magic jail? I can't remember, but it's been bugging me lately. So anyways, thanks for that and for taking us to New Eldorado!" Leland told her excitedly.

"All right, beauty guys!" Brian said. "And yeah, like if you need anything, just come get me right away, eh? I'm going to be in my room making sure that nutcase doctor doesn't get me until I get that weapon. I'm not trusting him for anything. I'm only coming out to eat and hit the can, unless someone other than him calls me out. Anyway, yeah, like I said, just let me know!" With that Brian grabbed a box of Honeycomb he spotted in the cabinet and made his way back to his room, eager to let Call of Duty take his mind off his latest problem.

"Especially since I know some shortcuts." Taryn said with a grin. "Alright." she said to Brian before turning back to Levi. "I'll meet you at your r-uh workshop?" she suggested. "I'm going to grab my laptop and a few things." Taryn left the kitchen and walked through the lounge. She passed Garrus, Rowen, and Tyson. 'Guess they haven't left quite yet.' She noted. When she hit the double doors Taryn pulled out her phone again.
