I was insulted for walking, Not walking funny or having a limp no nothing like that, Just walking down the street at a normal speed. Along comes some random Guy on a beach cruiser(its a type of Bicycle for anyone that does not know) riding in the bike lane, as he passed me he yelled out "You are a F*&$ing Fa*$%t for walking when you could be riding a bike, you're a Retarded Piece of S*%t" I was more confused than angry or surprised So i Asked Quizzically "Is this your first time riding a bike or is it the first time you have interacted with the outside world?". He Never answered my question and just rode off with a smug look of satisfaction, I was left confused and a slight bit dead inside.
You Should've kicked the bike out from under him and said it's safer to walk XD

French surrendering jokes are always a hoot. In a game I play, French units have just been released, and the amount of dumbass "jokes" amount white flags, 5 gear reverse, etc.... is staggering. This was on a European server group, so 90% of all the members are Europeans.
Now, when it's just some retard posting a joke, it's a simple matter of reporting and moving on.

But once in a while, some butthurt poster will go on an entire serious rant how we are all scumbags and cowards, for the sole reason of being told so by the internet and bad media ten years ago. I wouldn't take offence, but when people insult the memories of my family, which had a history of fighting, and some dying in WWII, yeah, I get pissed off.

How can people be so willingly ignorant and hateful?
That must be world of tanks. I don't even think its hateful or ignorant, they just don't see it as a "real" insult. The same way most people don't think calling someone gay is an insult. Of course the actual ranters are trying to insult, but the majority I don't think realise.

On a more confused note, I don't understand why people use the french tanks, they're quite painful to use early on.

If I recall; The Battle of Verdun in World War I, a French General: Robert Nivelle said a rather fetching line. "They shall not pass!" and the Germans didn't. It was possibly one of the longest and bloodiest of the war.

Though I'm English and as such, do have a bit of a poke at the French - They deserve credit where it's due. ;)

The stupidest reason I can remember was in the school cafeteria back in secondary school. I was sitting with friends having lunch, when one of them told me I buttered my toast like an idiot. I knew her pretty well, and didn't take it personally, but she did seem to be serious. Mainly remember it for how bizarre an insult it was :/

I have fairly thick skin so I don't usually feel insulted. But appearently I have been insulting people when I haven't meant to and I have a feeling people could fill the list with things I have done.

When I was younger, I was insulted because I had glasses. I know that a number of people have had the same experience, but it still strikes me as an odd reason to be insulted.

For being white.

Yeah, really.
Me too. I was even called racist for not being an Obama fanboy in 2008, even though everything I said about him back then has come true by now.

Also, I've had at least four people accuse me of being incapable of independent thought because of my preference for Apple computers and my political/religious views (not including all the anti-religious metal bands that I wish were less ignorant because they're talented musicians). F***tards. With friends like these, right?

1- Being a girl.
This one has many facets, I've been insulted for not acting girly enough, for playing games, for being a nerd, for saying no to sending people I dont know over the internet my picture. Stuff like that. Its strange, IRL I am more likely to get insulted by non-nerds for being a nerdy girl, and nerdy guys are really nice to me but on the internet its pretty much the other way round.

2- Having divorced parents.
A teacher of mine was just pretty much mental about this. She constantly referred to me as being from a `broken home`, and predicted I would go to prison or die young because my parents were selfish and divorced.

I remember back in school being insulted by some of the other kids for actually knowing the answer to a question the teacher asked. That was pretty weird...

More recently, I used to work with a guy who was something of a hippie. He would constantly have a go at me (admittedly in a fairly friendly way) for owning a car with a big V8. Last time I saw him, I took great delight in telling him that I now have two cars with big V8s - after all, someone's got to balance out the effect him and his bicycle are having on the environment ;)

Now they either think your not very smart which makes no sense at all, or they think your a snob. So few people actually think your just shy.
This is "you" and this is "are", together they are "you're".

Correcting a persons spelling on the internet is like winning the special olympics.

Even if your first, you still lose. Nobody cares.
At least I go home with a medal, and the other person might possibly have learned something. Although in this case, apparently not. But anyone else reading might.

Even if I did I would never change my name because I was named after my grandfather who died of cancer 10 years before I was born.
*Internet Brofist* My middle name is my grandfather's name who also happened to die a couple months after I was born due to cancer.

OT: I got insutled because I was smart. There's one dumb girl I work with that tells me I'm too smart and that I should shut up. "You're too smart. Why don't you get stupider or something."

Obviously she needs to get learned real bad. Cuz I dont bee stoopid. Iz smart n stuf.
*double internet brofist* I'm named after my grandpa who died of cancer a few months before I was born.

OT: I got called emo by this kid when I was in high school just because I was wearing a Slipknot shirt, also keep in mind this kid was wearing a Chiodos shirt who are actually considered an emo band. Derp. (I like both bands but that was just so fucking stupid.)

I had one like that my freshman year in high school. The kids in my class spent a week throwing insults my way because when the teacher posed the question to the class as a whole, I knew where the Yucatan was. The sad part? This was the honors, or AP, class who are supposed to be the 'smart' ones. The sadder part? I only knew the answer because it was brought up in an episode of The Simpsons.

Let's see, on Call of Duty: Black Ops, while playing zombies on Kino Der Toten, some kid called me a noob for turning the power on.

For those who haven't played Black Ops zombies, you can't really make it very far without turning the power on. Considering the fact that this kid went down 3 times before round 5, It's all kinds of hilarious for him to criticize anyone's skill.
