At least he had a small health bar though.
Well it would have been impossible if he would have had any real amount of health in that fight.Fucking super damage light/ray ball that hard to doge with his minion stuck to you.
Damn! I forgot the Guardian did that cheap shit. That was frustrating, even on easy.

Indeed it was.Especially if you had to do the freeze thing so you wouldn't take damage while trying to dodge Ansem's light ball.Died over and over because of that.

Final boss of Shinobi on hardest difficulty. I quit there. Just wasn't funny anymore after the 50th or so game over. Was a damned fine game, though. Shame Nightshade was so boringly easy and monotonous.

The fucking Favela level in MW2.
I was intending on not saying "This" but it is in need right now.

This.
I still haven't beaten this level on Veteran or Hardened.

On Regular & Recruit? PFFFT. Easy. Nae bother at all.
So I bump up the difficulty to Veteran, confident that it can't be that hard. & it wasn't. Until I started the Favela mission. I come across a clearing and when I attempt to run across it, some motherfucking enemy in a fucking impossible-to-see hiding place gets me with a cunting RPfuckingG. I attempt to run around, SAME THING. Repeat ad nauseum.

Ninja Gaiden 2 Xbox. 1st test of valor on hard mode. It was basically a luck based mission where I would spam as many invincibility moves as I could in hopes that I don't blow up. Too many enemies, too many explosions, way too hard. I did eventually do it, but it's not worth the time.

Just now tried beating the 12th mission of Homeworld 2...

I'm bad at games, see, so I had trouble with a handful of medium ships. Then they threw fifteen huge ships at me along with a horde of medium and little ships. Needless to say I rage-quit and cried.

Final Boss, Gears of War. I tried for hours and hours, playing nothing but this game for 2 hour stretches over like 3 days, until eventually I gave up, and haven't revisisted it since. Call me a crap gamer, but really, any battle which is based more on luck than skill deserves nothing but my contempt.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!

There was an achievement in halo 3 odst that took me and my friends three hours to finish. It was only one level and there were about 75 deaths each for all four of us in the end.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. The sniper boss.

I was pretty handy with the sniper rifle, so I was confident that I could beat this dude.

What followed was two hours of the most obscene 'cat and mouse' style gameplay that I had ever come across. The dozens of stealth ninja tricks at your disposal work to a point (such as identifying the dude by the sound of his snoring with the directional microphone) but once you spent the nessecary twenty minutes picking out the guys location in a huge, ugly map - he fires one shot at you and moves. I lost huge chunks of my life to that bastard, and never managed to land a single hit.

Here's the rub - I was playing on normal difficulty.

I stopped playing the game after that. A couple of weeks later I popped the disc back in thinking that I'd do it this time.

Yeah, this is the same boss that dies of old age if you don't play for too long. I booted up the game, got the cowards cut scene and then got dissed by everybody on my radio contact list. Essentially it all boiled down to the game calling you a '******.' I was not best pleased.

Owned the rest of the game though, mostly out of spite.

Just about every boss battle in Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero, but the final boss battle to be specific. I still can't beat that bastard...

Ninja'd, FUCK YOU SIR SWEET!! FUCK YOU!!! I still have to beat him but I lose so much motivation after so many tries. It's because of him I can't play the damn DLC for the game yet grrr.

The good thing about the difficulty of that level is once you complete it on veteran, the rest of the game is piss easy in comparison.

Oh man. Yes, I hated that. So much. In fact, I hated it so much I've done it twice, just to piss myself off some more. Actually, because a friend wanted it too.

Going through it once and knowing what to do didn't really make a difference.

The Blockheads on Okami, specifically the last few. Those took me forever to beat.

In Star Wars The Force Unleashed, when I first met those guys that shoot rockets from their shoulder and will basically pin you down till you're dead if you ever get hit. And pulling down the Star Destroyer.

In Demon's Souls, every time I fight a new boss.
