I think it is more of a jab about Beiber than anything man. I mean she is an alien. Kind of a who else could be attracted to him but a blue alien.
Yeah, cause the term 'cougar' has the same negative connotations as the label given to males (you know the one it begins with p), when the gender roles are reversed....Satsuki666 said:So are women. Have you never heard of cougars?sravankb said:Except that men are considered creepy for doing it, despite it being legal.bdcjacko said:Why can't women have fantasies of 18 year old boys? They are of concenting age here in the states. Men do the same thing.
He has had ONE count them ONE paternity suit filed against him his first line of defence is he has witnesses to his whereabouts and the lack of intercourse happening and the second is that he took the DNA test and the mother WONT let it be tested against the child. A child who by the way she has already accused two other men of fathering.bdcjacko said:17 is the legal age of concent in Missouri. Plus Beiber get MILF trim all the time according to the paternity suits being filed against him.
You do realize he is making is that middle aged adults SHOULD NOT be openly fantasizing about minors right? That in a society that celebrates "equality" we should not be so willing to celebrate or at the very least turn a blind eye to behaviours like this based on sex.AzrealMaximillion said:This sounds to like like a Western World Problem. Yes, but they were not not being portrayed in national Xmas ad campaigns for large retailers. False equivalence. Some thing that happened in some corner of the internet vs out in the open on national TV.lacktheknack said:Considering the terrifying celebrations that came from the Olson Twins and Britney Spears turning eighteen, I'm creeped out, but not surprised.
well that`s our lovely world... it`s funny that in most countries the least juridically protected person is a white male... and that really sucks... it`s the white man that made these laws in order to prevent himself from harming other races, and females, thus making him now the weakest. not saying that they`re a bad thing, but it puts him/us in a really uncomfortable situation, because almost anything we say/do can be turned against us...TheJayke said:Now this, I understand and agree with what you are saying, society does have certain expectations of each gender. Which is why these big things for womens rights, and getting paid the same as men annoys me, (not that I disagree with them being equal) but when they can campaign about equality, yet still expect men to act chivalrous, and pay for things, and allow ourselves to be hit without retaliation. Again, I don't condone violence to women, but when they can campaign all the time about how both genders should be equal, then throw up double standards everywhere, it irks me.
It's a similar situation with racism in the UK. (not sure how it is elsewhere) If a white man was to say that white people are better, he would be instantly shot down for racism. If a black man was to claim he was part of the superior race, then he would be praised for having racial pride.
We are part of a hypocritical country and it cannot be helped, minorities, and those seen as having less power, will fight valiantly for equality, yet still feel as though they can be protected by certain double standards.
Anyway, rant over..
Not quite. The point I was making was if, it is aright for one sex then it should be alight for the other, or not alight for both. I make no judgement on whether middle aged people think about minors (for arguement above 16) is OK or not. That is a whole other discussion for another time. I am was merely trying to highlight another example of the disparity....BRex21 said:You do realize he is making is that middle aged adults SHOULD NOT be openly fantasizing about minors right? Yeah, cougar is a terrible term, that's why they had a whole TV show called 'Cougar Town' about it. Haven't seen many shows called 'dirty old man (or similar term) town'. And we are talking about a 17 year old not an 18 year old.Satsuki666 said:Men who are attracted to 18 year old girls are called perverts or dity old men. Hell I think couger is worse.ph0b0s123 said:Yeah, cause the term 'cougar' has the same negative connotations as the label given to males (you know the one it begins with p), when the gender roles are reversed....
That refers only to pornography. Pornography, even drawn, featuring particpants under the age of 18 is not okay.ph0b0s123 said:Edit: Yes, age of consent in UK is 16, but remember like most other places depictions, even drawn of under 18's being sexual is punishable by at least inclusion on a register. So I think openly lusting after an under 18 year old is not exactly 100% OK. Certainly if you were male this would cause you problems in the current climate.
My my someone didn't get the joke. Also someone quite clearly doesn't realize that North America is pretty much the only place on the planet left where the age of consent is as high as it is.BRex21 said:You do realize he is making is that middle aged adults SHOULD NOT be openly fantasizing about minors right? ^^That, and I was obviously making a joke about how only in the Western World would a remark like, "Mmmm Beiber" coming from a middle aged person would shock people.ph0b0s123 said:Not quite.
