To be fair, I have no clue what the fuck "PSU" stands for, so you have me there.

Acronyms aren't something I concern myself with.
Because I hate them.
That's an initialism, not an acronym. And it means 'Power Supply Unit'.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acronym_and_initialism
They appear to be interchangable.
Only because people don't know the difference. 'PSU' as an acronym would be 'Piss-You' or something similar; not really the best of 'words'.
Dictionary.com disagrees with you.

ac⋅ro⋅nym

?noun
1. a word formed from the initial letters or groups of letters of words in a set phrase or series of words, as Wac from Women's Army Corps, OPEC from Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, or loran from long-range navigation.
2. an acrostic.

in⋅i⋅tial⋅ism

?noun
1. a name or term formed from the initial letters of a group of words and pronounced as a separate word, as NATO for North Atlantic Treaty Organization; an acronym.
2. a set of initials representing a name, organization, or the like, with each letter pronounced separately, as FBI for Federal Bureau of Investigation.
3. the practice of using initials or forming words from initials.

Both examples contain acronyms that are pronounced as words in their own right. It would seem that an initialism is merely a subsection of acronyms. Meaning that PSU is both an acronym and an initialism.
From the OED:
Initialism said:
The use of initials; a significative group of initial letters. Now spec. a group of initial letters used as an abbreviation for a name or expression, each letter or part being pronounced separately (contrasted with ACRONYM).
Acronym said:
A word formed from the initial letters of other words. Hence as v. trans., to convert into an acronym (chiefly pass. and as pa. pple.). Also acronymic a.; acronymically adv.; acronyming vbl. n.; acronymize v. trans.
(Also, the earliest use of the word 'intialism' is in 1899; the earliest use of the word 'acronym' is 1943. Thus an 'acronym' is a special case of an 'initialism').

Well, friend's GameCube was on for 7 days without being turned off once. My friend didn't have a memory stick and she wanted to complete this game, I can't be fucked to remember which game it was though.

Mine is probably 4 days or so when I left my Nintendo64 on so I could play Zelda: Ocarina of Time whenever I wanted to. :p

City of Heros, ran the longest Taskforce (group of multiple missions) in the game. Played all day and till about midnight or so, then we went idle and luckily 80% of the team showed up and the scheduled time to complete it the next day. Only itme i've ever left any sort of system on overnight. As far as a marathon console would have to be either Shining force 2 or ff7, I'd say somewhere close to the 20 hour mark.

Well I've played Diablo for 24 hours straight, but I suppose that doesn't count because my PC is practically constantly running.
I hit 18 hours on TF2 for the 360 before, albeit 2 hours or so were dedicated to eating.

I played through God of War 2 on normal in one sitting, the same afternoon that I got it.
Didn't time it, but you can surely imagine for how long I played.

Probably about 10 hours on the last two Halo games when they were new. Say what you want about them but I don't think I've ever played a game so much as those.

If we're talking about actual consoles, then probably my Gamecube with Phantasy Star Online, trying to reach Very Hard difficulty in one day. Playing through Normal and Hard modes cost me about 16 hours because of the maze-like Caves.(I always get lost there, and it takes me an average of 3 hours to complete)
Wow is a very addictive game what did u do in that 24 hours?
I leveled my mage. This was a few years ago(pre-BC) when I was actually addicted to the game, and I wanted to finally reach level 30.
Funny how I remember this. I started the day leveling my Shaman(got to 19), and after dinner I started my mage who was 15 when I started and 23~ when I stopped.

The next day a friend started on another server where I made a dwarf priest.
