Katie could feel the icy sensation spreading through her body. It wasn't unpleasant, but it wasn't good either. If she had to describe it, it would be similar to taking a bath in water that had just been melted from a glacier. She shivered, and let go of Jason to try to stand. After a couple of attempts, both of which failed, she sat back down, knowing Camille's cure wouldn't be instant. While Leland was gone, Richard and Camille started a conversation, and Katie listened in.
"Strange," she commented quietly to Jason. "You'd think they weren't enemies, the way those two are talking. I mean, Camille's in the Union and all, and Richard's just so... casual." She was a little unnerved by his demeanour, but tried not to show it.
