"It isn't ignorance, we are weak, for now. That's the beauty of it though. Do you think Patriot, Camille, or any of the other powerful heroes just were at birth? They started weak themselves they trained, learned their abilities inside and out, had internal strife with their respective teams and had to work through it. I read as much in each team's files, they all were us at some point. It took time, but they were patient and became far stronger because of their patience. I think I understand your problem, it's your way of thinking. Rather than looking at what will come, you look at the amount of what is. That's why you don't like being forced to wait, want to make one big change rather than many small ones, why you don't plan actions ahead of time, and why you think us weak. You look too much at the now, rather than what will come. Probably why you thought killing a club would have made me stop putting pressure on you, but I think in terms of longevity, so it means nothing to me in the long run." Richard thought it over for a minute and began to laugh.
"I bet you don't even see what the magnitude of the actions you have already made can be. That has to be the funniest joke I have ever heard. A man wanting to change the world who doesn't realize he already has because it wasn't big enough for him to take notice. A man who is so blind to anything but the present he doesn't even see how his actions may have changed the very future of this planet. Then turns around and calls the man blind who looks at the horizon and not at his feet. That is something truly hilarious." Richard continued to laugh.
