Before Jason could come in contact with Katie, he felt his feet slipping from under him. He took to the skies, leaping into the air before he collided with Katie. As he flew towards the wall, the claws in his right hand formed, and punctured the wall to hang from it. He looked back on Aaron with frustration before raising a eyebrow devilishly.

"Change of plans Kate. Now we're doing Teamwork exercises. Our goal? Take out Aaron." He said, pointing at the ice guy deviously before landing next to Katie.

"So, what do ya say?" He asked.

Tommy sat on his bed awhile, he felt like the disease had left him, but now he had a tremoundouc ache in his sternum. Obviously took more magic than I could handle, feels like I just took a cannonball to the chest. He rolled out of bed and examined himself, he looked better externally, the color had returned to his face, and his eyes were no longer blood-shot with fatigue. When he stood up his chest still ached but the rest of him felt fine, electrically charged even. He remembered what his father told him, that his magical connection was just like any other part of his body as he stressed it, it would go stronger, and so would he. He suddenly realized the ache in his chest was just like a muscle that had been taken past it's limit, it would take a while to fully heal but when it did it would be stronger than before.

As the two approached Aaron, Jason almost instantly felt several pains ting throuought his body, causing him to shake and twitch violently. With a loud, pained cry, he fell to his knees, quickly noticing that his armor was disappearing and reappearing, as well as completely altering into something else.

"What's going on out there Kid?! I'm losing control over myself!"Erebus yelled out.

"I don't-GRAAGHHH!-know!" He replyed before forcing himself to turn around, quickly noticing Dona's devilish smirk.

"Dammit Dona, what did you do that for?!" He cried as he keeled over, putting his hands to his head.

He stayed like this momuntarily, shaking and twitching along the way. Immediately after, with another pained scream, he sprang back up, and hordes of long, black spikes released from his chest, back, arms, and legs, several of which, stopped only mere inches away from his comrades. Immediately after, all the spikes began to recede back into his body, that is, execpt for the longest ones protruding from his arms. He rose to his feet, and made his way towards Dona.

"What did you do that for?! If anything, you should've did it to Aaron; he interrupted me and Katie's sparring mat-" He cut himself short as he pointed at her, noticing the long, blade-like spike coming from out his arm.

"Whoa..." He said, more intrigued in this turn of events than angry at Dona's shenanagans.

"Hey Jason," Aaron called from across the gym,"I wouldn't get so estatic. Your not the only guy on the team that has a pair of those."

Aaron quickly formed a pair of ice spikes on his wrist mathcing the length of Jason's. He knew that Katie wouldn't be a problem but Jason on the other hand would be a challnege. Aaron shifted his feet though as he did the floor started to freeze from right under him and started to spread throughout the gym floor. Ice started to creep up the walls. Icicles started to form on the gym celing.

"This is going to be fun," Aaron chuckled an rushed twoards Jason and Katie.

Leland opened up the exercise room, taking a seat at a bench and watched the progressing fight. He was somewhat surprised to see Aaron on Dona there, though that did make the fight a lot more interesting.

Garrus sat down his bowl of cereal at the kitchen table, taking a seat himself and eating his breakfast.
'Guess it's more of a lunch,' he thought to himself grumpily, not in the mood for anymore encounters.

Camille took a seat near the back of the green house. Now was her time of practice. She had already grown used to the teleportation powers that she had taken, now was time to work on the powers from Katie. As soon as she had entered the green house she could already sense the plants, from there it was learning how to control and use them.

Tommy decided some lunch would hit the spot and take his mind off of the soreness. He walked down stairs and found Garrus, passing him with a friendly wave of the hand and then going to the pantry. Grabbing some bread, cheese, meat, and mustard, he quickly made a large sandwich. He grabbed a plate for it and sat down across from Garrus, and began eating. After a few moments puntuated only by the sounds of eating, Tommy slid a note across the table to Garrus, on it was written,

 Het Garrus can I ask you a question?

Garrus gave a deep sigh as he read the note. "Yeah, sure. Whatever. I thought my angry scowl and slow eating of cereal would show that I'm not in the best mood, but you know what why not? You usually have interesting questions so lay it on me," Garrus told Tommy.

Tommy suddenly realized Garrus wasn't in the mood to answer the question he was thinking of, but Garrus was still expecting one. Stalling for time to think Tommy took a huge bit from his sandwich, almost too big. He struggled to get it down, tears were even brought to his eyes by the time it hit his stomach. Then he handed Garrus a new note,

 How do you make earthquakes?

"Hell if I know!" Garrus responded loudly. He took a second to calm down before continuing, "Honestly, not sure. When I was around fourteen or so I got into a fight and I accidentally broke everything in the kids arm from a punch. When I punched I felt something leave my arm and just go into the other guy's arm. From then I just went bigger and bigger, and now I can control everything a bit better. I don't really know much about my powers. My mom probably knows more about it then I do since she took, borrowed, stole whatever my power back when I was fifteen."

"Was that really your question? Seemed to have come out of nowhere..." Garrus asked with a curious look on his face.

 Uh.. No What I really wanted to ask was, why your last name is Arreos while your brother and mother's last names are Claidt?

Immediately afterwards Tommy began wishing he hadn't asked the question, fearing another outburst from Garrus.

"Oh that. Well my parents were never married, so they gave me my father's last name and then any siblings after that would get my mother's," Garrus explained simply.

"It sounds nicer like that too, and my mom is one of those people who has to have everything perfect. Garrus Claidt doesn't have the same ring to it like Garrus Arreos does. Same with my brother, Leland F. Claidt sounds better that way then with Arreos. And same with my sister..." Garrus stalled at the last sentence, growing quiet as he went back to eating cereal.

Tommy slid a last note across the table,

 Thanks for telling me.

He returned to his sandwich and didn't communicate anymore until he finished. Then he got up, put the plate in the sink and left the kitchen. As he was walking around Tommy was gripped by the urge to explore the lodge. He began to go room to room, peaking into doors to see what was inside.

Katie collapsed instantly at Dona's mental command, thrashing and writhing on the floor. Thankfully her plants didn't spin out of control, as they weren't a part of her body the way Jason's armour was. Once the spasms had subsided, a painful headache remained. She got to her feet and rounded on Dona, extending the length of her thorns a few inches. Dona's bat had somehow caught fire, but Katie refused to back down.

"For future reference, I request you stay out of my head," she said, an underlying tone of menace in her voice. Though Dona was her team-mate in the Society, Katie couldn't help but dislike her abilities, having experienced them for the first time then and there. "I believe you should respect the concept of privacy; there are things I don't want anyone else to know. With that in mind, I would think you have very little right to go poking around in here -" she tapped her head as she spoke "- messing with my perceptions, reading my secrets like a book. Do I make myself clear?"

Waltzing into the house, Simon hummed happily to himself as he headed towards the kitchen

"Hey, you guys mind if I whip myself something up? I haven't had anything to eat since I woke up..."

He asked without looking to see who was around, and started opening the cabinets

"Make yourself whatever you want. It's not like anyone is going to be eating any of this stuff once we leave," Garrus told Simon, now eating a sandwich after realizing he was still hungry and he didn't want to leave the kitchen on the off-chance of meeting up with his mother again.

Leland listened to Katie's little rant at Dona, feeling a bit worse about having slightly probed her mind. 'I'll have to be sure not to do that anymore,' he thought to himself, trying to lean back before falling back, remembering he was just sitting on a bench.

'And thank goodness for magic to keep me from falling all the way,' he thought, trying to play it off like nothing had happened.
