Richard responded on the comm as he flew towards the location on the map.

"Patriot, I just spent the last four hours upgrading a motorcycle after talking to Garrus' team about their powers, and now I'm flying off to meet with an agent of who would otherwise be our enemy to fight an all powerful sociopath. Need I remind you the last time I met him he apologized for torturing me inside of my own mind on our first encounter. I am tired, sweaty, and knee deep in a lot of personal problems I would rather wash away in alcohol, so excuse me if I'm not up to date on the latest in strategy of defending major cities! Oh, and let's not forget the fact that you didn't have any of this in place until just a few days ago because I requested you do so!" He had broken down a bit and composed himself before getting on the comm.

"I apologize Mr. President, that outburst was unprofessional and there was no excuse for it. It will not happen again sir." with that he got off the comm and continued toward the destination.

Alister was sitting on the ground a few feet from the others, sharpening his blade with a rock he'd found. Of course, Excalibur was magic. No amount of sharpening could actually effect the blade for good or ill; he just wanted to feel like he was doing something, as at this point the conversation had extremely little to do with him.

"For the record," Alister said to Garrus as he approached. "I'm ready to go whenever."

Tommy rode up on his bike after having done a few practice rounds, it was bulkier now the armor on, but that actually seemed to suit it with a rider as big as Tommy. It was faster than but also had more weight to it, overall Tommy liked how the upgrades affected the feel of the bike.

Code:
 I'm ready to go whenever.
He passed the note to Garrus and then leaned on his handle bars as he waited.

Katie managed to detect a few more spores in the air, though she imagined that there would be hundreds, each from different plants. It would probably be easier when she was actually fighting the suits; there would be a lot less detail to sift through in her mind. She opened her eyes again and said, "All right, I'm set to go." She walked over to Jason and said, "Looks like we're on the move again. You ready?"

"Fuck waiting around anymore let's get our asses going!" Garrus said, before asking if he could ride with Tommy since his bike was left behind.

"Oh Richard it's alright! All of us have those! Even I myself have sometimes gone on rage-filled tangents, only to realize that it wasn't a good thing. I appreciate the apology though," Patriot replied, as he was debriefed on what was happening with the evacuation.

"No, it's not Mr. President. I am supposed to be a professional, and a professional does not shout at or speak ill of a superior, especially the president of the United States. It was uncouth and it shall not happen again." Richard said as he arrived at the bunker. He landed to see the dagger twin nearby, he walked over to her.

"What's the situation like, we got a pretty good idea from Camille, but it was still fairly vague."

As soon as Garrus got on Tommy took off out of the gate, at full speed. However the minute he was out of the gate he slammed on the brakes and pulled the bike to a full stop, before turning around and giving a note to Garrus.

Kate Dagger lifted up her head to look at Richard. She looked young, but their was a sense of old wisdom in her dark eyes. She stood up and brushed off some dirt that had collected on her loose, dark blue shirt that was over her black long sleeved shirt.

"Yes well the situation is that my brother and two others are currently inside the bunker. I managed to get out after Sensor and Undertow started to attack each other for no reason. My brother tried to quell the fight, but he was taken out by some unknown force that I can only assume was caused by Leland," she told him, clearly disgusted that she had ran away from her team.

"Dear god," Garrus said with a groan, pointing Tommy to the freeway entrance. "We're gonna take that South for quite awhile. I'll tell you when to get off so we can get to Red Bear Creek," he told him.

"You did the right thing, staying there would have only gotten you compromised and you wouldn't have gotten the message out. It sounds like this is Leland all right, excuse me for one moment." He got on the comm.

"I can confirm from the report Kate Dagger gave me that this is Leland. Once you get inside, remain highly critical of everything around you. If you get pulled into an illusion, do your best to remember where you were, what you were doing. It might help to at least help you realize the illusion, also keep an eye out for anything that doesn't fit. If I start singing 'My Favorite Things' without massive amounts of alcohol in my bloodstream, then something is up."

Tommy gave Garrus a thumbs up before hitting the throttle again and taking off down the freeway. In a few minutes he felt Garrus tap him on the shoulder and point towards the exit. From their it was only a few minutes until Red Bear Creek was in sight.

Going to be walking my dog for a bit, feel free to control Tommy guys.

"Gotcha Richard. Don't know the song but I'm sure just hearing you sing will trip everyone's alarms," Garrus replied back, pointing for Tommy to take a turn onto a less-traveled road. They continued along it until they saw Richard and Kate, driving on over and getting off.

"So this is it? Not that large, I'm assuming there are a bunch of lower levels?" Garrus asked getting a nod from Kate.
"Indeed. We managed to get into the lower third level before we realized anything was wrong," she replied back.

"Well then I guess Leland should be there. I wonder what difference there will be between this Leland and the normal one, but those questions will find answers inside I'm sure. So, shall we head inside?" Richard asked Garrus more than the others on the team. He figured if everyone thought him leader he should back off a bit, since it was supposed to be Garrus' team and not his.

"I'm not sure if Leland is going to make us sing this time, illusions require a great deal of concentration and attention to detail, Omoi's implants could be interefering with his brain functions, meaning his illusions will be imperfect, compared to the last time we faced him. However if he realizes this, he'll probably just try and kill us with a lightning bolt, or a fire bolt, or teleport us into space, or make us rip our skins off, or.." Tommy continued to ramble on about the number of ways Leland could still kill them as he parked his bike and dismounted at the bunker.

"Oh that sounds lovely. Okay so no lethal force, but we can use the level below that. Once the rest of us get here we'll go in," Garrus replied getting somewhat anxious about going in. He thought of all the things his brother had shown him once he had learned magic, trying to figure out ways to counter them all.

"So Garrus, how much does Leland actually know in the way of direct physical attacks? I mean, could he create a black hole if he wished, or just a fireball?" Richard asked, he wanted to know as much as he could going in.

"Not super sure. I remember him showing off to me after he figured out how to use fire and ice and all that jazz, and now he has it tattooed on his arm so he doesn't even have to say the spells. That's gonna be a problem. As for something like a black hole, well I'm not entirely sure. He won't have as much control over his magic, but at the same time we don't know what Omoi is willing to do," Garrus replied back.

"And as for straight up physical fighting mom has been teaching him Savate and Major Crime has been teaching him Krav Maga, so that's actually kinda bad for us..." Garrus replied, trailing off.

"Garrus, if it comes to hand-to-hand combat, between our numbers and individual strength, we should be able to overpower him. The thing we need to worry about are the amount and power of spells he knows." Richard replied. He thought for a moment before realizing something.

"Garrus and Tommy, if Leland is under Omoi's control, wouldn't it make logical sense Omoi would know the location of the hidden magical cities?"

On account of Pm0n3y not posting, I feel the need to move my character - and his - along to catch up with the others.

After a quick exchange between Katie and Jason, she led him over to her motorbike and got on. "Let's get going. Hopefully the rest of the guys won't have cleared the place out before we get there," she said as he sat behind her, his arms around her waist to hold on. Katie revved the bike to life and drove out of the Promenade, taking the same route as Tommy and Garrus; she had heard the instructions Garrus had given Tommy.

About ten to fifteen minutes later she pulled up near the entrance to the bunker. She waited for Jason to get off first, then quickly followed. The two of them joined the group outside. "So, what have we missed?" Katie asked Garrus and Richard with the same question.
