Richard didn't understand why the hell he felt the need to walk outside the promenade, but he sure as hell had an idea why. His suspicion was confirmed when he walked outside and saw Dona lying on the ground. He moved quickly to kneel beside here, checking for a pulse. When he found one he immediately lifted here off the ground and carried here back inside.

"Why do I feel more like a pack animal than a teammate, care to explain that one?" Richard joked as he got here to the infirmary. Medicine was not his specialty, engineering was. Richard highly doubted that Dona was just a robot with human skin and hair grafts, so he wasn't going to be much help at this point. He went back to his room before grabbing the communicator out of the helmet and going back. He spoke into it clearly and calmly.

"We need someone with at least basic medical knowledge in the infirmary as soon as possible." With that Richard set it down and pulled out his phone. He dialed for the best doctor and surgeon in the city to meet him at the best hospital in the city. He had no clue himself what was happening, but he wasn't about to spare an expense on a teammate.

As Jason conversed with Katie, a very faint, unrecognizable, sound made itself into his mind. Having no idea what was, Jason quickly shook it off, not taking it seriously. He then turned his attention back to Katie.

"Well then, shall we go?" He asked, offering her his hand.

Garrus grabbed the remote once Richard had left and turned it to Food Network. He grabbed his phone when it started to ring and bid hello to Cillian.

"Hey Garrus. Important news," Cillian said from the other side.
"The world is ending?"
"I wish. No this is about the team roster. Anton has suddenly disappeared, only left a note that he wasn't coming back."
"Not like he did much. At least I got my lighter back."
"Our team Doctor is on leave to recover from injuries and to work at the hospitals to help out those hurt from the earthquake."
"He was kinda creepy."
"Well don't tell him when he comes back. And you guys will be getting a new team member within the day or so."
"Great. Thanks for letting me know. I'll tell everyone whenever they come by the Lounge."

Richard sat in a nearby chair. He knew she was trying to calm him, and damn her it was working to.

"Nice try with the messing with my brain chemistry thing, I'll give you that. That only confirms my suspicion it is worse than you are letting on though." he replied pulling out his phone. He called the docs and told them to come to the promenade instead. He had a few business contacts from contracts with the military dealing with battlefield medical technology. He may just call a few of them up once he knew for a fact what was worth trying to calm him about. Richard was not a fan of people trying to make him feel better when the situation was bad.

"All right. Where did you have in mind?" Katie asked as she took Jason's hand and walked beside him. "There was a nice place in Horizon, near where I grew up, but I don't know if it's still standing," she said, a little saddened by the consequences of the earthquakes. She shrugged it off, and added, "But if you want to go somewhere out of town, I'm fine with that."

"Well, I was kinda hoping you would pick. Never been to a restaurant fancy enough to take note of it. You can just tell me how to get there." Jason replied sheepishly, scratching the back of his head.

Katie let out a short giggle. Usually on an first date, the guy picks the place, she thought with a smile. But then, is it really a date, though? We both dressed up for the occasion... Oh, why not. Call it a date. "Let's go out of town. There should be some place good enough for the likes of us," she said, giggling again. "I don't actually know many places to go outside of Nova City; I've lived here my whole life."

"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea." Jason said, as he took her by the hand and began to walk towards the parking lot.

"Hey, at least you know about the town you live in. I spent most of my life boarded up in a empty metal warehouse, learning how to fight and not take shit from nobody. The only thing that informed me about the outside world was television, and the internet on some occasions. And thank god we had that." He added as they walked down the steps.

Jason gave a strange look as he heard Aaron's voice in the communicator.

"W-wha?! How'd you know we were leaving?!" Jason asked as they walked past the kitchen.

"We didn't even exit the Promenade yet! Please don't tell me you see through walls now..." He pleaded in annoyance.

"I can preceive thermal signatures remeber. Plus it's easy to know when Katie's around cause she's so hot." Aaron replied.

"Well, thank you, Aaron," Katie said, blushing heavily. "We were just going to go out of town for breakfast together, considering we didn't get the chance yesterday because of the little incident at the mall." She turned to Jason and said, "Hey, do you think there might be something about us in the newspapers today?"

Richard remained silent a moment before replying.

"So that's what has you so freaked out. Well I have some friends who owe me quiet a few favors. Some of them deal in medicinal technologies, and I can always call in a few favors. You're past doesn't bother me in the slightest, by the way. Back to topic I think some of my old contacts are working on surgical robots that work literally into micrometers with perfect accuracy. They could probably make an incision probably only slightly longer than the bullet itself, follow the trench it dug, and extract it with no damage. They were meant to be used by doctors and in the military anyway, so it will be perfect for extracting a bullet. It's probably just the lead in the bullet starting to poison your system, so after the bullet is extracted it becomes basic medical work. Either way, I'll see what can be done, as not even some of the most advanced hospitals have access to the same resources I do." He paused for another moment.

"I don't know if someone else is joining, by the way. I almost hope not, one more communicator and two more vehicles I have to get." Richard joked with a small chuckle.

Jason decided to ignore Aaron's remark and keep his attention on Katie.

"There better be. All the things we did for the town; I wouldn't be surprised if the whole paper was dedicated to us!" Jason said as he held the Promenade Entrance door open for his date.

"I mean, it's the least they can do..." He voice trailed as he closed the door behind them.

"Maybe not the whole paper, Jason. They didn't know who we are, just what we can do," Katie said as they walked hand in hand to Jason's car. "They can't exactly fill a whole paper with our appearance and powers. That would take up a double-page spread, but really not much else."

"Yeah, I know." Jason answered as he help Katie into the car.

"But then again, i'd rather not be plastered all over the news. It'll be more publicity than I could handle." He said getting into the car.

"Yeah. In more ways than one." He thought as he turned on the ignition and pulled out of the parking lot.

"I know what you mean. We wouldn't be able to walk into a public place without being recognized. Thankfully no-one saw our faces at the mall," Katie said as she smoothed out her dress underneath her before she sat down. While Jason drove, she thought, And if Jason and I were on the news, we would be all over the gossip magazines as soon as someone from the media found out about our date. And nobody wants that. It's bad for business.
