Wow this site is either way over populated by xbox only gamers, or none of you have played all the way through Demon's Souls.

sorry if my spoiler tag doesn't work...

Nearly every boss fight in that game is a big challenge, and the last boss just sits there and lets you kill him, which even if you do get hit by him, it does next to no damage.

Mass Effect 1 against Saren was anti-climactic for me.
Worst one by far has to be Fable II or Dante's Inferno. Seriously, you'd expect an epic duel to ensue with Lucifer, but not really.

Really? 20 posts and no mention of the Fable II "boss," lord Lucian?
Anyone who mentions Fable 2 has no respect in my opinion; if you expected that game to have a good end boss after playing that game, your crazy. I would mark Fable 2 in my "biggest let down in gaming history".
No offense, but this is really pushing it.
"If you enjoyed the game, you are insane and I have lost all respect for you. Why? Well, because I didn't like it".
Wrong attitude, man.
OT: The final boss in Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy.
Okay, not tragically, but he was really not that different from all the other fights.
And, before you ask, yes, I enjoyed the game. Surprise?

I am shocked no one mentioned Sands of Time. Some of the last battles in the game were decently epic only for the game to phone it in with so damn easy a final boss. His father was way more challenging than that rickety old-man, the Vizier. It was such a disappointment for me, the ending theme at least made up for it but I still felt ripped off for such an easy boss.
Oh yeah! I remember that!Remember those big armoured guys of which there were plenty of? I would say one of them is about twice as hard as the final boss of that game. I mean I remember that guy dying in about ten seconds.

The Archdemon in Dragon Age. It was just a dragon.
So, ignoring the lead-up of the army of Darkspawn, and Ogres, killing the Generals, repulsing a wave of Darkspawn at the main gate, and then the final battle between you, even more darkspawn and the Archdemon.

If you still have enough Health Poultices, or Lyrium Poltices for Wynne by this time.

I think your in the wrong thread to say "Tragically disappointing"

Maybe if you weren't playing on Casual, then it would have been a little more challenging. I for one have completed that game 3 times and still find it somewhat taxing. Try a harder difficulty if it's too easy.

Ziekfried mind you the falling through space aspect was cool, I was so over leveled from the bonus bosses that I was easily maxing out my damage and had the Sheriff's Star . I could have soloed him with Jack and probably downed him in a few turns.

Not that Wild Arms has been known for it staggering difficulty except when it comes to Bonus Bosses.

Halo 3 hands down. Also Bowser, but particularly the one from New Super Mario Bros.

Mega Mushroom. Stomp. Win.

Dirge of cerberus was pretty easy considering who the enemy was...I want games to have a final boss but they should be hard as hell. Though not in a way that they use cheap moves but that they need skill to beat.

Jak 3 also deserves special mention
Who was the Jak 3 boss again? It's been so long since I played it that I can't remember.
It was a giant dragon. Defeat wave, jump over laser, shoot in head, lather rinse repeat. And if that wasn't enough. You get to fully heal yourself with light eco everytime you shoot him. Kor was so much tougher its not even funny

Lots of people are saying Fable II... Fable II didn't really have a final boss fight.

The whole point of it was the bad guy was outplayed. By the time you grew up you already outmatched him. He was a weak man who's only advantage was knowledge and preparation. Getting past that was what the majority of Fable II was about.

The dream world was the last trick he had up his sleeve and through the seer's preparation you survive that. Without all that preparation, he was nothing. You could say that all of Fable II is a boss fight, with the other tasks you do similar to the gimmicky stuff you have to do in other game boos fights.

But now I think about it, just shooting him is kinda similar to how sister dies, so maybe they were going for ironic...

Halo 3's 343 Guilty Spark, the scarabs at least looked fucking terrifying from the ground.

Kessler in INfamous was pretty easy, maybe it was just because I was playing as evil.

Probably Yami from Okami. I mean for God's sake, a slot machine? I wonder how I shall beat this form? Also the ghost of Himiko giving you free health every time you use Veil of Mist makes it even easier.
