Actually it wasn't this bad...the guy took the cover, put a rap-spin on it and still left the original message. At least it beats all those gangstaz singing about Pimps & Bitchez.

What's your beef with Rockstar? I admit it's not the best but it's good for singing loud -and off key- at festivals and with friends.
That is, if you don't get all the censors in there.
I agree, I hate "Photograph" a lot more, or this song that they just recently started playing on the radio that sounds like Nickelback singing a damn Celine Dion song.

I would also like to submit "Too Drunk To Fuck" by Buckcherry and "Believe in Me"(?) by Staind. The former is ok, but it's been played way too much and I've grown to hate it, and the Staind song is just whiny garbage.
Wait. Did Buckcherry cover The Dead Kennedys or is that a completly new song? I'm scared to hear the new version if it is a cover.
I have no idea. Maybe. See for yourself [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpW-QHOqZ6U].

Anything by Disney and (most) recent pop music. I can't stand it.

Phew, they just ripped off the name of the song. Dead Kennedys version is much better.

Music has been pretty bad lately, though there has been a few noteables:

Gorillaz, Interpol, Franz Ferdinand, John Legend, and Gnarls Barkley come to mind. But that's just a few of the incredible amount of music groups out there.

Worst song of 2008 has to be anything done by 'Soulja Boy'.

But its not been a very good year for music in general.

I'd put The Fratellis on the list of great new acts. They just make really great pop rock. their new album is kind of dissapointing, but their first album (Costello Music) harkens back to early beatles purely in terms of their pop sensibilities.

YES, another one I can agree with.
Whoa, whoa. I like that song. It's very odd.

Anyway, I hate to jump onto bandwagons. They move too fast and I don't usually make it, so I am going to submit, something different.

Millionaire by Izza Kizza. A perfect example of crappy mainstream hip-hop/rap.
