Honestly, it's a market thing. Sex in a mature game is perfectly understandable, and so is Yahtzee's comment on the matter in his review of Mass Effect- bacon sandwich, starving wolf.

I've never understood why, if they have rules for what ratings, there is still argument because of illegal usage. If it says Mature, then it's done. It's warned you. Should poor Timmy manage to latch onto said game in defiance of the rules, that is not something to be blamed on the developer or used as some kind of excuse to put proper parenting on the game designers.

But, then, current society is based on removal of personal responsibility at all costs these days.

umm I think the whole "not repetitive" makes it worth a try, but yeah overall it's nice to see the developers really listening to the critiques of the first game

If it's used as character development or in context, like Mass Effect (perhaps Ezio is a bit of a Casanova and this affects his motives and the reason for him doing what he does in game?) then it's no problem. I just can't wait to see what Fox says about it. Although when I first read the title, before I read the post, I thought it would be confirmation that something happens (wink wink) between Desmond and Lucy, given the fact that they fit all the tropes and possible stereotypes of characters who will inevitably end up together as a couple before the end of the series...

But yeah. This sounds alright and won't affect whether I buy the game or not. I liked AC so I'll definitely get AC2, sex or no sex.

Why do all games try to shovel in some sex for controversy purposes?

Really I see no use for the sex scenes, not for Mass Effect, not for GTA and not even for a game about bloody ASSASSINATING people...

If I want sex I will watch some porn, not play a game..

None the less, the option to have sex in game gives the player another thing to do when bored. Every little bit adds to the game play, especially when a good story follows, like the romantic subplot in Mass Effect somewhat.

There was as much of a romantic subplot in Mass Effect as in a hentai game..

What is it with developer these days popping sex and nudity these days.Fist Heavy Rain and now AC2.I´m all for developers putting what they want in they're games.But it's like it is becoming a trend.
