Erghhhh, thats just depressing. Some people really think a) Stalin was interested in socialism, b) Hilter was interested in socialism, and c) that they wheren't just lying dictators who used the word socialist the same way most businesses who corporate bullshit words.

Well I think (though my history is alittle shakely) when Stalin forced collective farming on the rural population at Secret Police gunpoint, it I think I heard alot of them burned down there farms rather than give them over to the state. As a result, the famine that ensured killed alot of people.... I think...

As for who had one testicle, I think Hitler really did only have one thanks to a bullet in WW2 - its also possible he had some sort of dental problem that left him in frequent pain.

To be honest, I know very little about Mao, so I can't really deny or confirm the numbers on there. I recall hearding about his attempts to improve rice yield in China actually had the opposite effect because he wanted too much and put political people in charge instead of farmers. But I heard that once on a TV program, so I don't know how true it is, nor if that was typical of him.

And ah, I see - far enough, I know Stalin was a brutal bastard who probably had his wife murdered on top of the millions of strangers he had killed.

I'm guessing you're from the US. Not because I have any real evidence of such, but because thats the common reaction I get from people here. Actually, their reaction is more like "Socialism for the lose, love it or leave it, terrorist fascism, socialism=fascism, GAAAAH!!"
