Trapped! A Survival Horror RP - Chapter 6: Have We Escaped Yet?

"I dunno..." Yvonne paused, sneaking around to the edge of the firetruck. She waved her hand out then pulled it back, but there was no gunfire.
With a determined look, she ran towards the open manhole. Her head disappeared just as the shooting started again, causing her to squeal, but she was safe.
"Okay... which way did that girl go?" She decided to go down the left tunnel.

"Kelsey..." Tyler began, bullets flying nearby, "go with her. I'll see you on the outside."

"What? No!" she protested, firing back. "I'm staying with you."

"Go, dammit! She needs someone to watch out for her, and we'll find the external sewer exits and meet you there." Peeking out, Tyler fired a few shots to suppress the distant guards. "Get your ass moving!" Turning his head to her, she quickly kissed him as he squeezed off another round.

"You two better make it." Smiling, she jumped down into the sewers after Yvonne. "Hey, wait for me!"

Yvonne stopped, she turned around to see Kelsey.
"Oh God, I'm sorry, I just panicked." She said, suddenly feeling really guilty for running off.

"It's fine, Tyler and Eric are gonna meet us outside the walls," Kelsey mentioned. "Do you know who that girl was?"

"Get in those buildings, I'll cover you!" Tyler yelled over the gunfire.

"No, sorry." Yvonne said. "I think she went this way though." They continued down the tunnel. She occasionally squealed at a rat running past. Up ahead they saw warning signs.
"Hey, do you think the water treatment plant is near here?" Yvonne mused aloud, looking closer at the signs.

*Mini Update*

You reach the bottom of the stairs. You can hear the dull murmur of machinery in another room. As you walk through the door you see another sign saying "Water Treatment Plant."

"Why are they shooting at us!?" yelled Kayla reloading he pistol.

"Because they're gay! I don't fucking know!" responded Will as he took a shot at one of the strangers. As Will was getting back to cover a stray bullet skimmed his ear. "Gah! Shit! Son of a-OW! My fucking ear!" screamed Will grabbing his ear.

"Ohmygodwhathefuck! You alright Will?!" asked Kayla with distress in her voice.

"I-I think so. It just skimmed my ear and hurts like a ***** but I think I'm good."

 

[MasterSqueak]

Eric leaned out the door, fired three shots at a guard, and sprinted out of the firetruck while blindfiring at them to keep them surpressed.

"Crap crap crap crap..."

He dove into the building, bullets hitting the ground outside.

Yvonne turned the next corner, seeing a huge dead spider floating in the water.
"Eww, that thing is huge!" She said, side stepping around it in disgust. It was bigger then her head.

Scanning from left to right with his gun, Dean slowly advanced into the room. Everything seemed normal for a water processing plant, but he heard a muffled scream from up the stairwell. He slowly started to head back the way he came and crested the stairs with his light off and his gun at the ready.

"Drop your weapon mother fucker!" He said into the dark, his gun sighted on the human silhouette. "I don't know what the fuck you guys think your doing, but i'll blow you away if you dont drop your gun and step into the light."

"Omigawd Dean!" Yvonne said, raising her hands in the air slightly so he wouldn't shoot. She was happy to see him, since the sewers were creepier then she had thought.

 

[MasterSqueak]

Eric reloaded his guns, before firing at the guards again.

"We need to get closer!"

 

[SimpleChimp]

Dean gave a little smile and lowered his gone

"'Ello Princess, what happened to the fire trucks?"

"We got shot at." Yvonne said, confused at the accent. "Is there a way out down here?"

 

[SimpleChimp]

" . . . you guys didn't get my warning about the gates?" he said with a perplexed look on his face, "I haven't looked for an opening down there yet, i started to then i heard you. Should we try and help the others?"

Yvonne nodded. "I want us all out of here, we still have time." She checked her gun was loaded, Then turned to face the way she had come.
"We were only walking for 10 minutes at most, I think I know the way back." She said.

 

[MasterSqueak]

Eric continued firing at the guards, until a trio of rounds hit right beside his head, sending him stumbling back.

"Oh hell-"

He was cut off as his left gun was shot out of his hand by a lucky bullet.

"Gah!"

He dropped to the ground, crawling behind cover. Propping himself up, he made sure his radio was set to their frequency.

"I'm pinned down here!"

Dean started sprinting down the sewer system the way he had come, "You came in threw an open man hole right?" He waited for her nod before taking a right down a tunnel,

"I know where that is, just keep up."

i didn't know that there was any more than the presidents daughter. that and the radio cut off altogether when we went underground.
