oh i thought this was about something else...I'll play along

* anime these days looks cheap - just because a show is getting popular they cut back on the cost of animation (so it looks shit..although bleach hasn't been effected by this)

* everyone bumming over ''death note'' - yes its great..we get it

* everyone hating on naruto - why hate something that's gotten popular? cartoon network made a great move taking that show on so many people relate to naruto for many reasons.

* people bitching about hentai - you know what it is..why the hell do you watch it if you all your going to do is ***** about it

* people still calling anime ''hentai'' even though it has no sex in it - probably mostly because of the company ''manga'' that and some ecchi in it suddenly makes it ''hentai'' -__-

Yes i agree the second season is definitly worse than the first. If you was to actually read the manga there would be more detail. Things were missed out.

I'm gonna start watching Code Geass now. Is it a mecha anime (robots involved)

Same, and Geass is awesome up until the second season. Then I dislike it because of how everything turns out.

You forgot the part were you repeat every single tiny little detail that has happend in the series thus far and compress the whole summary into the first four minutes and frequently remind us just in case we had Alzheimers or short term memory loss... Oh I almost forgot alot of people saying KAGOME! or INUYASHA!! or TETSUSAIGA!!!!!!! or my favorite (sarcasam) SIT!!!! in between. And then end all that shit with a fucking lack luster cliffhanger!

What I like to call Dragon Ball syndrome:

That charicters allways get more powerfull at an exponetial rate, so that the main villans from the last story arc that took so much to beat are now easly slaped assied. And that then new charicters can some how make it up to that strength despite it taking the other charicters so long (goten and trunks go super sayin as kids easly dispite it taking a TON of work for goku to manage it).

Many other fighting Shonen series desplay this as well.

In retrospect, it was a bit funny to watch.
I hate to do it, but...

Also, here's a reoccurring scenario: The protagonist finds out that his loved one is kidnapped by his overly obnoxious purple enemy (or whatever color he is). He then must go through several enemies, dramatic scenes and never ending bad dialougue to save his loved one who later doesn't think she owes him something, cause they love each other so much that she won't give him a blowjob as thanks, even though he lost his arm or something for her.

Aside from all the stuff that's already been said (12 year olds with boobs as big a Jupiter, the "inner force," etc.) I'm getting pissed off with the fact that the producers are milking the series to their last drop and are quite frankly making the series WAY LONGER THAN IT NEEDS TO BE. There are animes out their with like 200+ episodes, and every time I notice that I think to myself "What's the point by now?" Then I remember...fanboys.....

That's why I liked FLCL and Fullmetal Alchemist. They weren't overly drawn out and actually (at least in FMA's case) had well developed plots. I'm going to pick on Naturo here for a minute....

Naturo's storyline is simple. The characters are faced with a problem. They solve/kill the problem in about 10 to 20 episodes. The producers/directors decide, "Hey we should do this again. Even though the conflicts we put them in by this point are easily solvable by a three-year old with ADD, it's still making money." And then they decide where the plot is going next:

Naruto and the Water Illusion People. Wait that's been done. Naruto and the big tournament. Wait that's been done too. GOT IT! Naruto tackles crochet!

Another thing I hate about anime is that a character of any significance sticks out like a sore thumb. You can tell if someone has plot significance because they have heavy visual distinctions from the generic crowd fillers. As a result the main characters almost never look normal.
