The vampire fad is here with the coming out of the Twilight saga movie and its approaching sequel. Seriously, the movie's average and the books are that big of a deal, I don't get all the hype. But I'm getting off-topic here.
In concern to True Blood, I haven't really seen the show, but since it's from the creator of Six Feet Under, it's bound to be something at least DECENT. Or not. I'll comment moar when I check out the show.

Not just for women, really, this show has something for everyone. People are turned off by it because the format somewhat resembles a soap opera. Only it's better acted, there's only a little romance, and the camerawork/editing are polished. Not a soap opera! You don't get to see that much naked breast on morning serials, lemme tell ya.
The vampires aren't mopey or miserable (usually). The average sex scene per episode is probably at a 2.5 by now. It's violent, funny, sexual, brisk, and most importantly, it doesn't take itself seriously. There's at least one character you want to fuck, no matter your gender or preference.

Anyone who is doubtful of it should just watch one ep; that'll change their mind instantly.

I am an exceptionally feminine dude, and while I can't stand close contact with males (or any traditionally male things,) I am not actually gay.
I can appreciate attractiveness in either gender, however, as stated above.

Though what I think is attractive is usually pretty far from "normal."

I watched like two episodes, it was alright. Not really my kind of show though. I will say they do a far better job of portraying contemporary vampires than Twilight does, so they got that going for them.
