Vesuvius, Redlin is accepted. So yes, this is just fine.

Also Redlin, as a note Growlithe starts with Bite and Roar, so you cant use Ember yet. If you have any questions on things like that then feel free to PM me.

And Robert, dont worry about it. You gave us a reason for disapearing, so theres no problem.

"Well then, if you feel up to it then lets go" he said to her as he looked over to the next staircase, there was another monk standing by it who nodded at them approvingly.
"I saw your performance in the battle, so please feel free to advance to our next trainging floor, there some of our fellow monks will be the ones you challenge" and as he finished he gave a small bow and turned his attention back to the battling trainers.
"Well then, you heard him. Shall we get going?" He asked as he held out his hand to help her up the steps.

Turns out my Internet is working again, so I guess It really wasn't a problem, Though I won't be here for the weekend.

Gereld watched Alex battle the Trainer, a little put out that he wouldn't get to fight him, but was intrigued by this new pokemon the Trainer had called upon, and wanted to see what it could do.

"Thank you, brother," Lily said, nodding her head slightly at the monk. She looked to Matt, raising her eyebrows, silently asking if he could help her with a little more than just a hand.

As he nodded, affirming, she threw her arm over his shoulders, and they began up the stairs. Lily suddenly felt a chill run up her spine. She jerked her head around, feeling as though something was following her.

"Liliy?" Matt asked, concerned.

Seeing nothing, she made no deal out it. "Oh, just my head playing tricks on me. Let's go on."

They continued on, unaware of the entity stalking them through the tower.

As Matt helped her to the next floor, he couldnt help but feel uneasy. He decided to let it pass for now and they reached the second floor, now the room was arranged to be somewhat smaller. Their were a few other trainers who were fighting some of the monks on the floor already. None of them seemed to pay them any mind but they seemed concentrated on performing their best for an elderly man in a saffron robe, he carried a walking stick and was watching the battles with interest. No one else seemed to pay them much mind
"I thnk we have to start off one this time" he said to her, acting normal despite the unusual feeling he was getting from the tower itself now

Nodding in acknowledgement as she scanned the room as Matt had done, Lily's hand crept down to Eevee's Pokeball. She looked to Matt and asked, "Another double battle?" as she released her Eevee.

I thought because of my later entry I could start with some experience (hence Ember)... It was in my character sheet and you didn't say anything about it >_>

And sorry about taking awhile to post. School/life got in the way but I'll be here for awhile today

Dash shook his head with confusion. "Careful Dash, keep your head! Bite!"

Dash, remembering why he had been so excited a moment before leaping into the air and gave the Zubat a harsh bite.

 

[Vesuvius Hetlan]

Alex grinned "Come on, Rhodes! Give me the blue arrow!" The Zubat suddenly flapped his wings and flew back narrowly dodging the bite. He then proceeded to do a massive loop-de-loop and latched onto Dash's neck. He then followed up by using a point blank supersonic with caused his fangs to vibrate. "Batbatbatbat!" He then ducked back and started flying in erratic patterns to further confuse Dash.

Eric smiled. "We've practiced this Dash, look down!"

Dash looked down, his head pounding but he wouldn't get distracted. Once he felt ready he shook his head and was no longer confused. "Growlithe!"

"Give him a big Roar Growlithe!"

"GROWLITHE!" barked Dash, frightening Rhodes, who was moving in for an attack, back.

"Now, bite him fast!"

Dash jumped up before Rhodes could respond and got a good bite in on its wing.

Dash landed as Rhodes flinched. "Follow up with another roar!"

The Zubat was sent flying by this roar, retreating to Alex.

 

[Vesuvius Hetlan]

Alex smirked "C'mere Rhodes. Let's do this, Cecily!" The little blue crocodile grinned. "Come on, Cici! Show him a water gun!"
Cecily raised her head back and sent a blast of water directly at Dash's nose. It hit the pup's sensitive nose dead on. Cecily then ran over and began scratching at him.

Startled by the pain of the water gun and the first scratch, Dash fell back to his training. He ran around his foe too quickly for it to attack. After a few revolutions he spotted a weakness in the defense and got a good bite on the tail.

"Follow up with a second bite!"

Before the Totodile could counter Dash spun to its other side and bit it again soundly.

 

[Vesuvius Hetlan]

Cecily took the bite and began to twist around and hit Dash once more with water gun. She then began to feel faint. Alex called out "Cecily, that's enough. Good fight, girl. Not going to let you get knocked out again. Go Rhodes!" Rhodes shot out of the pokeball with a mad grin on his face. "Leech life! Now!" He flew in close and latched onto Dash's neck from behind where he couldn't reach.

Dash cried in pain.

"Roll over Dash, get it off!"

"Growlithe!"

Dash rolled over but Rhodes flew away before getting hurt. He felt weaker and tired but remained standing.

"Ember! Burn him out of the sky!"

Still energetic enough to use the move, Dash aimed and spat out a fireball at the Zubat.

"Bullseye! Good work Dash!"

 

[Zirat]

Matt looked down to Rojo, who seemed eager to fight one of the monks as well. "Well then, we did pretty well last time. Why not another double-battle?" He said as he approached two monks.
"So, how about a battle?" He asked them, they both bowed slightly and they sent out their pokemon, a Bellsprout and a Rattata respectivley. The elder turned away from the others to watch this display with interest.

Gereld watched the Battle unfold, Impressed by both of Alex's pokemon, who were putting up a terrific fight, but more by Dash, the Growlithe, who was easily the strongest of the theree Pokemon, if only because he was fighting 2 Pokemon who kept tagging in and out, instead of just one. Damn, I hope Cindy and bubba are even half as good as they are He thought.

"Dash, move in for another bite!" said Eric, thinking hard about how to deal with that water type.

If only I had more Pokemon. Dash is doing great, as usual but I just can't take them both... I could use an item but I was saving that for later.

Well, if we lose we'll still learn from this. We're not far from the Pokecenter. This guy is a good trainer and I will beat him if we battle again.

Dash jumped up but this time Rhodes was ready and dodged quickly.

That training with Dad's Noctowl had been good but this guy has obviously been training too.

"Use Bite again, hurry!"

Dash tried a second time, only managing to get a bite on the tip of the wing, not causing significant damage.

Darn it, I just can't win!

He thought about catching another Pokemon. What would he catch? Its not like he had a Pokedex or anything.

"Finish him off with another Ember!"

Dash powered up and fired what he hoped was the last blow. The fireball headed towards the Zubat swiftly.

Its up to you whether it hits or not. You know what the outcome of the fight is Ves. Also I'm not going to be online for awhile. A bit more tonight, maybe a little (or none) tomorrow. Sorry for the inconvenience!

"Let us begin, then!" Lily shouted with enthusiasm as Eevee trotted forward.

"Go, Eevee!" she ordered. "Open up with a Tail Whip on the mouse!"

Eevee made a beeline at his target, and shook his bushy tail in it's face.

"Thanks, now move in and attack!" Matt called as Rojo rushed up to the suprised Rattata, attacking it with her talons again, making it reel back in pain.
"Rattata! Recover and use Tackle in retribution" he said, and at the same time the other monk said calmly "Bellsprout, use Vine whip on the bird as well"
Rojo was hit in the side harshly by one of the walking plants vines,and as she turned around to dodge the second one coming her way the rodent rammed into her, knocking her over.

SO!

It seems that due to more difficulties on Slivers end, he will not be returning here.

Now that means that I'm in charge now, and I want to keep this going. As pulling the plug will make me feel like I'm letting both you, the players, and Sliver himself down.

So, this is now just a heads up for all of you. I just thought you 'ought to now and I'm hoping to continue this with the rest of you.

Chell had been looking for the stairs after her awesome shining victory, finally the girl made it to the top of the stairs and saw her friend and that creature disguised as a girl battling together.

Fine if that witch wants to be that way I battle to.

Chell walks up to someone point dramatically at that person and said "I challenge you to an Official Pokemon League battle!"
