As the group traveled one the Road to Azalea Town, Chell grabbed her pokeball's "Steve, Charles River come on out!" she shouts releasing her 'pokepals'

"Hey guys" she said to them

As the others began to make their way to Azalea Town, Darrel walked up to them. He tried his best to ignore Lily, and focused on Gereld. "Hey. Any room for one more?"

Gereld Shrugged and said "The more the Merrier, I guess. Just try not to cause trouble." Walking along in around the middle of the group, Vaugely Hearing Chell sing as he looked up and saw, with a smile on his face, Bubba dancing along in the air, enjoying the music.

Alex smiled as Rhodes clung to Chell's back and chittered along with the song. He smiled Rhodes and Chell seemed to be getting along and Horus trotted next to Lily's little friend, bleating stupidly at him... "Well it looks like everyone is getting along. That's great."

I apologize for not posting earlier, its been a really busy week for me...

Jason followed the others, returning with Bagon just as the others began heading out. He was in good spirits, having watched his Bagon play with some friendly Pokemon down by the lake. He fell in line with the rest of the group, until he eventually dropped back, realizing that he was going back to the place he had so desperately wanted to leave.

 

[Malo_Tux]

"So... where are we headed exactly?" Sid asked, he put his hands on his head and watched Pooch weave through the legs of the group.

"Someplace Called Azeala town, I think." Said Gereld, Aware of how little he knew of the area. We might have to travel through a cave again! He thought with panic, remembering the horrid Zubat's it that cave they had gone through.

"Azalea Town?" Darrel asked, to be sure he had heard right. "That's where the next gym is, I think. Bugsy was the name of the leader last I heard."

 

[Robert632]

Gereld shrugged. "If Bugsy's still there, then he's who we're facing next I guess." I wonder if he changed his name after he started training bug types? I'll have to ask. He thought, aware of his puntastic name.

 

[Vesuvius Hetlan]

Alex looked at a map "Well we'll have to make it through union cave. At least it'll be lighter in there! You know. Maybe we'll find some good rock types or what not in there!" He grinned at everyone.

"Yay forward momentum" shouted Chell, pouncing on Alex with a tackle hug. "I like that plan, In fact if that plan was a person I'd marry it." she said, ready to follow Alex into the cave, excited to be moving forward with the adventure
Chell will follow the brave and handsome Alex into the cave, but what dangers lie within, what does fate have in store for our Beautiful yet tragic heroine...? thinks Chell Narrating her own life.

"Another cave Alex? You seem to know how to pick the best routes" Matt remarked as he stepped over him while he was still on the ground and kept walking ahead. He was thinking about what he could do in Azalea town when he got there. Aparently there was a place you could get Slowpoke in the town, and a psychic type would be great to round out the team without having to deal with the teleports almost all of them have he thought, laughing to himself a bit as he remembered Darrels fight with the Natu and realized how tough it'd be to try to even catch one.
While he was thinking, he vaguely noticed how far they've gotten from the city already, and Azalea town was a fair distance away. He tried to push these thoughts out of his mind but still felt slightly uneasy.

As the group get walking, they didnt know that they were being watched. There were a few of them, but they were all experienced, and each one was VERY good at what they do. Oni had a pair of binnoculars and looked at them, there were nine of them, but they were all beginners. He sneered, some of them looked familiar. Especially the one in the orange jumpsuit, you dont really forget someone like that.
He looked at two of the other rockets and mouthed an order, even if they were a distance away no sense risking spoiling the suprise.
They headed off at a brisk speed the way the trainers were going.
Oni then looked at the other two who nodded in response, Oni then stood up straight and walked at a leisurely pace after the first two, a twisted grin on his face as he reached for the handle of his knife...

They were going for what was about forty minutes when Matt consulted his own map, ignoring some of the things he scrawled over it himself at the moment and saw that now they were almost at Union Cave, it was just around the bend. "Hey Chell, it's almost time to get to the cave again, ready to deal with more Zubats and Geodudes than you can count?" He joked as he looked up and saw down the road...
There were two rocket grunts, simply standing there as if they were waiting for them, they were wearing the full uniform, and didnt even make an attempt to hide themselves. Neither of them said anything as they reached for their belts and each pulled out a pokeball and unleahed what was inside, a Seviper and a Haunter. Matt took an instinctive step back and bumped into someone, he quickly spun around and saw that behind them were another two rockets.
How long had they been behind us... Matt thought to himself in horror as they came close, they were now pinned between the two.
"Nowhere to run" a female rocket said simply as she released her Poliwhirl and her partner released a vicious looking Sandslash. Matt realized what kind of situation they were in now, they couldnt take them all on, and even if they did try to fight back each of the rockets were armed, and while they had numbers he didnt like their chances.
A harsh growling came out of the woods as a Houndoom padded out of the brush, it's owner wasnt far behind.

"Oh... seems you kids dont learn from eachothers mistakes, shouldnt you know that traveling in the forest is a horrible idea? Even with company, your still not going to make it back home. That is, if some of you still HAD a home to go back to" he said.
"You'll just be another couple of travelers lost in the world. And this time... I'll make sure there isnt ANYTHING left to be found" he said, pressing the tip of his knife lightly against his own palm

 

[Malo_Tux]

Sid looked around frantically, trying to find a route to escape while Pooch stood defensively growling at the Houndoom. Just to think if he hadn't let Lily convince him with food and helping him with Pooch, he'd be in the Pokemon Center enjoying a nice bed and food. A sudden anger boiled inside hin for the girl but it was drowned out by the fear he got from looking at the Houndoom and its owner.

"I thought all the Rockets had been taken care of years ago..." he stammered.

 

[Vesuvius Hetlan]

Alex snarled as his pokemon formed a circle near him and Chell while he moved in front of Sid and Gereld. "They were. I'm sorry you got dragged into this." Cecily turned frequently to face one opponent after the other. "Shit fuck! Shit fuck! SHIT FUCK!" He glared at the woman rocket and had Chell take a step behind him.

Jason stepped in front of Lily, making sure that he would be the first to go down if the rockets attacked. He released Bagon which let out a snarl as it stared down the rockets Seviper.

"So, are you really so pathetic that you need to prey on innocent travelers? I heard that the rockets were once a great power... but your disappointing me." Jason said, his eyes narrowing as he looked at the rockets.

Nervously looking at the Rocket grunts who had surrounded them, Gereld released Cindy, who was surprised and frightened by the people who had surrounded them. Bubba, hovering just a few feet above Cindy's head, was equally as frightened. As he looked wildly around for some sort of exit, Gereld began to realize that leaving on the day a murder had happened was not such a good idea.

"So..." Darrel growled. He stepped forward to the head of the party. Spike was on his shoulder, glaring down the Seviper and making barely restrained snarling noises. Puck floated beside, chuckling menacingly at the Haunter.

"It WAS Team Rocket that did it then? You killed everyone in New Bark Town? That was pretty stupid. You could have laid low, but instead you made enemies. Like me."

He glared at them, and whispered "I'll make you regret every doing this. Puck!" The Gastly flew up beside the trainer, laughing maniacally now as it anticipated the battle. "Start it off with a Hypnosis... on the Rocket Grunts."

Chell hid behind Alex for protection, she turned to see that both her Pokemon, Steve and Charles River were out, i
"Steve, CR Kick his ASS!!!!" she said from behind Alex
"Munch" said Steve nods to Charles,
"Rat" CR nods back.
Steve took the the initiative and grabbed Charles River, launching him at the rocket grunts, not their pokemon them, with great speed and accuracy.

The rat pokemon's jaws were wide open prepared to attack his prey. "Raaaaaaaaaaaaa!" he roar in primal fury, as he landed on the face of one of the grunts and sank his teeth into the man's face. The rattata, ripped and tore at the man, blood poured into CR's mouth from the wounds it was inflicting on the man.
CR, unclenched his mouth slightly and the the blood dribbled from his mouth, "you damn rat I'll kill you" shouted the grunt, thrusting his knife at CR, Cr batted it out of his hand with his tail.
CR continued the assault on the man, taring is face into a bloody pulpy mess, that would heal eventually, to add insult to injury the Rattata urinated onto the mans shredded face.
"You stupid piece of shit!" shouts the rocket grunt gurgling up urine, blood, and shredded chunks of his on face.

The grunt grabbed the rat that caused him so much (NON PERMANENT) bodily harm, pain, and utter humiliation. CR bit the mans hand, the man threw the animal hard
"CR return" said Chell holding up her Pokeball, the beam caught CR a he hurtled through the air.

 

[Zirat]

Oni and the rocket grunts staggered for a moment. Oni then immediatly straightened up, as did the rest of the of the rocket grunts. Oni grinned devilishly "You kidding me? Cute. Real cute. I figured you runts would pick up some lil' ol ghosties! Fitting really. You little itsy bitsy cowards." He laughed. "Let me give you a tip before I kill you all. All it takes to resist a hypnosis from something as WEAK as your ghastly is a pinch of willpower. But I'll give you some credit, boy. You got some serious guts. I like that, and I'm sure they'll look great baking in the sun. But enough talk for now, lets wrap this up and get back to planning, Houndoom use a Thunderfang and tear into that floating gasbag and his trainer" he said as the demonic dogs teeth gnashed and sparks flew out as it lunged at Darrel and Puck, as all of the other rockets and their pokemon started to advance before one was attacked by Chells Rattata.

The others disregarded their injured comrade and began an assault of their own.

"Haunter, show them how a real Ghost works, use a Confuse ray" its owner said, and it obliged by its hands seperating themselves from its body, both of them forming into captivating orbs of light which began to circle around a few people in the group, acting as a distraction for the others to have an open chance at attacking.

"Aww... you two look like such a cute couple, I'll make sure that both of you die not too long after the other~" she said cheerfuly.
"Sandslash, use Rollout on them" she said in a stern voice as the spiked pokemon obeyed and curled up tightly before launching itself at the pair.

"Seviper, use your Poison Tail and bring them to their knees" the third said, and the vile snake obliged by slithering up to Jason Cole and making a lunge at him with the sharp end of its tail, which was dripping a foul and caustic liquid.

Matt knew that if he was going to go down, he was going to go with a fight. He released Tenshi from his ball, who was raring for a fight.
"Okay then, they want to fight dirty then that's what they'll get" he said as the Gligar touched down on the ground and looked around at the ensuing chaos. Matt saw Oni, who was watching and ready to strike. "... so they were the ones behind the massacre, I doubt they're even people, just things that need to be put down" he said poisonously.
"Rojo! Use an ember at that floating freak, burn him up" he said as the little red chicken fired a few flaming coals at the Haunter, it simply floated up, meanwhile Tenshi was simply mesmerized by it's Confuse Ray

"You think Puck's weak? That's fine. We'll see what your Haunter thinks about it! Use LICK, Puck!"

Below the Haunter, the blue Gastly flew out of the ground, guffawing as its tongue shot towards the other ghost. If Darrel remembered, Lick lacked power but was still capable of paralyzing a Pokemon it hit. He then turned to Spike, who jumped in the way of the Rocket Grunt's Sandslash.

"Use Low Kick, Spike!"

The Mankey obeyed and slid towards the rolling Pokemon, chittering angrily as it went along.
