"We will crush the US! We will crush the UN! We will crush all those who go against us!!!" Says Kahdafi red with target reticule from every gun from every army against Libya.

But I'm one to give credit where its due. At least he's optimistic at times of hopelessness with 0% chance of victory.

I hope Gaddafi Wins in this conflict.
Can I infer as to why?
Well attacking your own civilians is not a big deal and the rest of the worlds countries should mind there own shit and even though Gaddafi is winning if the rebels win there will still be civil war and a power vacuum.
Are you serious?

I... don't even know how to respond to this.

As for the main topic... come on, we all saw it coming. With all luck, the jack-off in charge will see where this is going and apply for asylum out of country.

Until then, go, my Navy brethren, and drop explosives til the cows come home!

Even the USA kills its own people. It is just a difference in what each government sees as a crime.
How and when?
Death penalty.
Actually, thats the people.

The US government CANNOT kill its own civilians. Only a criminals fellow peers can.
Sorry I am not educated on the USA. I am also not a troll this is my opinion.

Attacking your own civilians is not a big deal? Need I remind you of the holocaust?

If the rebels win, sure there will still be Loyalist factions fighting back, and there would still be sporadic combat, but after they take power it would quickly die down.

The power vacuum, could you fill me in a bit more?
Well for starters the holocaust was a genocide very different from now where the so called "civilians" (Who where a danger to the stability of the country and the government) where a active danger to them selfs and others. If you think that the rebels are "united" think again, the only thing they all have in common is their enemy and flag, all of them serve there own interests. Honestly If I was deployed to see this happen in Moscow I would be the first to fire.
The holocaust wasn't all civilians. Yes, they were the majority, the Nazis also killed just about ANYONE who opposed them, or were related to those who opposed them...

And just because there are isolated cases of people wanting to overthrow a government for their own personal and corrupt interests doesn't mean every rebellion is that way.

So we're at war #3 now? Crap.

Sooner or later, the coalition will need to put boots on the ground. And then it's going to turn into another Somalia.
Everybody seems to forget that the war in Iraq is over, been over since August of last year when all US combat personnel were withdrew from the country, so technically there is only one war, (war in Afghanistan) a country with with significant U.S presence that just happens to be in a sensitive area of the world, and a no fly zone so only 1 war

Why does everyone keep comparing this to Somalia anyways, no one seems to remember the no fly zone over Bosnia in 1993 through 1995 which in my opinion was rather successful leading to the Dayton Accords and today Bosnia is successful and somewhat modern country

Then perhaps you shouldn't make bold claims on the moral structure of the United States, seeing as you know nothing.

It does not matter, you still have the death penalty which is done by agents of the US Government.

Yeah sounds like a plan. After all, us swedes are already accepting all the refugees from the middle east, might as well start on africa while we're at it.

besides, everyone can see that the world (especially USA) needs another war with a muslim country with large quantities of oil.

I'm an optimist and I want this to go well for the rebels, but my friend says it's too little too late.
Though I am interested to see how this'll end. I wonder who'll take power.

I don't get how they can go after Libya, and continue to ignore North Korea.
North Korea has nothing of 'value' sat in large refineries in it.

What it does have is the Chinese to the North and more Koreans sat on the largest collection of American military hardware outside of the US to the south.

It's a bit more delicate than attacking the forces of a man that nobody else likes who is in open civil war and who the British and American militaries have been itching to get some revenge on for two and a bit decades.

But I know what you mean. It's hard to justify letting Kim Jong starve his people into the stone age when a measly three week civil war gets the full attention of the UN war machine.

PS, the French are involved, that is a big deal, they're very, very good at bombing stuff.

China wont stand for foreign powers on NK soil.

It has nothing to do with oil, or any other nonsense. Its the same reason why we didn't squash NK way back when: Over Chine's radioactive, glassed corpse.
