No, but I'm about 98% sure I'd like a Zelda Anime series/movie. There was actually a really nice OOT manga that was never brought to the states. Found a translated version the web a while ago, and after reading it I can say that an Anime adaptation could probably do the series justice.Darenus said:"Are you absolutely... 100% ... SURE... you want a live action Zelda movie?"
Don't even joke about this.. Just don't! *hides in the corner and cries*Spicy meatball said:Where will his evil hands strike next??..a Zelda game??.
Yes there is one group that takes him way to seriously and infact keep feeding his flames. We do. Yes we gamers take him way to seriously. Instead of doing what should be done and just walk away we insist on getting our panties in a knot everytime JT opens his fat mouth. Everytime he makes a statement we as a community defend ourselves. Yes defend ourselves. We are defending ourselves against a raving lunatic in a matter where we are right. Everyone knows we are right. Yet we act like we are in the wrong and it is us who has something to prove. JT is like the Boogeyman. He only exists because we believe in him.WolfmanNougat said:But does anyone even take him seriously? Besides Fox, of course...messy said:"Gamers kill gamer film maker over film based on a game" - Jack Thompson would be all over that
I do believe he is privately funded or he's still exploiting a German tax loophole. Eiterway, with Uwe Boll the consumer has very little say in the matter. He knows what people say about him and I believe (according to an article I read somewhere) he even had a Critic boxing match..where he beat the crap put of three major critics for criticizing his films. Plus..I think Postal actually sold well..squid5580 said:Snip

making a bad film is acceptableThe_Oracle said:I've come here to say two things and two things only. After that, feel free to respond however you like.
First things first. To all those saying that Uwe Boll should die, that Uwe Boll deserves to die, that you hope Uwe Boll should die, and any variations thereof....I'm sorry, but lolwut? Look, he's a terrible director. He's butchered videogame franchises many, many times and IIRC, used to exploit a German tax law in order to make up for his movies' miserable box office failures.
But. Does that mean he deserves to die? Are we going to form a lynch mob for everyone who makes a bad movie? Should we hang Michael Bay or torch the home of whomever directed the Twilight movie? Of course not! Yes, these people made terrible movies, but plenty of people still went to see them, including people who just went to make fun of them! And it's the latter people that I have a problem with as well, as I'll elaborate on in a moment. But to wrap things up- just because someone's a horrible director does NOT make them a bad person, morally speaking. If you can't understand that, then, well, you probably won't be able to understand the second thing on my mind either. So stop reading.
Secondly- to all those who go to see Uwe Boll's horrible movies, even to make fun of them, don't. While indulging in a little MST3K action may be fun, you'd be much better off waiting 'till they're on DVD or VHS, assuming they ever do. That way, you get to mock his movies without being a hypocrite, but you also deny Boll most of the profit he was going to make on your theater ticket. This is the only way I know of to shut Boll down for good. Don't see his movies. Ever. At all. As I recall it, he can't use the German law loophole anymore, which means his failures are his failures. He literally cannot finance another few horrific excuses for films unless everyone stops seeing them. It's the only way, and the good news is, it's easy. Just don't go see his movies, and Uwe Boll's film career will slowly come crumbling down.
And that's all I have to say on the matter.
He was dead, but Satan kicked him out of hell so he could screw with us once again.MaxTheReaper said:I thought he was dead.

Still even if he is funded by a special fund it doesn't matter. No matter how bad of a movie he makes based on the greatest game ever the bottom line is the game is still the greatest game ever. Hell if you ever really sat down and watched one of his VG movies the only thing they have in common with the game is the title and character names. If we stopped getting our panties in a bunch and just ignore him he will go away. Why do you think he has access to those special funds? Do you think they think he is worth it? Or could it be that we have made him a celebrity? I suppose him blowing the chairman is also an option.Mikela said:I do believe he is privately funded or he's still exploiting a German tax loophole.
