Limiting myself to experience, how about how some old school games you might not have played on consoles, like the original Doom games and the original Half-Life and their expansions?
False... I own Deus Ex on both pc and ps2. I played the ps2 port first sadly, and it was awful). But my point remains, it's not PC only.Lem0nade Inlay said:PC Gamer eh?
First thing you need to get is Steam!
After that, check out Deus Ex. Named by many to be the best game of all time, and it's PC only. You can buy it off steam for like $10.
Also, Baldur's Gate (especially the second, Shadows of Amn). It's an RPG, but not like Fallout 3 or anything. It could be called turn-based, but it's not like "Attack, wait for enemy to attack, Attack again" etc. Trust me, it's worth it.
I think he means the first one, dude, which is PC only, unlike Invisible War (which was rubbish). But i still maintain that just because a game is also on a console, does not mean it should be played on a console. Hell, the only time it's reasonable to do so in my eyes is in the case of platformers, but even then you can just plug in any controller to your computer and still have a much better experience (which is what i did with Assassin's Creed. Playing the PC version on a big tv with a DS3 was much better then flatout console version.).Daedalus1942 said:=

There WAS a PS2 version of the first one, it came out 2 years after and I'm NOT talking about invisible war.Ridley200 said:I think he means the first one, dude, which is PC only, unlike Invisible War (which was rubbish). You're forgetting Deus Ex: Dark Conspiracy, which was the console version of the first.Ridley200 said:I think he means the first one, dude, which is PC only, unlike Invisible War (which was rubbish).Daedalus1942 said:=

Really? I just checked and the only listings for "Deus Ex" are on PC and mac. There is however something called "Deus Ex: The Conspiricy" for PS2, is that what you're talking about? Because in that case, i stand corrected, but obviously maintain the PC version would be superior.AC10 said:There WAS a PS2 version of the first one
Oh, my bad. I thought it was only Invisible War that was on the ps2. Either way, Deus Ex should still be played on PC above anything else, IMODaedalus1942 said:False...
