As Sophia continued to watch, she saw the hole that the laser had made into Victoria, bring a hand up to her mouth. If was she could smell was correct to it must have been a substantial wound Victoria had taken. Although she didn't want those people to take Victoria, Sophia knew well enough that this was something beyond her expertise to fix with such limited time, and it would be foolish of her to try even if she was at 100%. "I-I don't think I can heal something like that." Sophia lamented quietly, looking to EMily and Samus then back up to Victoria.
You call out that if Vicky is going anywhere, she will not go alone. And if she dies, there is no where they could run. As you speak, you note that Sam seems uncomfortable with the situation, but you also focus heavily on predicting his next move. You flick your blaster over to high power, ready to blow his head off if need be.
Samus looked at Sophia, her shocked face luckily hidden behind her visor. This complicated things. She looked back at Victoria.
"It is. Neither my ascociate or I is at liberty to divulge anything of that nature." Elm confirmed, stopping when it was twelve meters away from Sam, and ten above them. "Should this be your main concern right now, however?" It added in a questioning manner.
Hearing Shara's comment, Elm was quiet for a moment, calculating how it should respond, then adding, "If you want to be detained with her, that is acceptable. But you, and no one else." It stated, not impressed by Shara's threat. While it spoke, Elm began charging up energy to create another portal, doing so to quickly create one if it and the group could agree on terms.
Hearing Shara's comment, Elm was quiet for a moment, calculating how it should respond, then adding, "If you want to be detained with her, that is acceptable. But you, and no one else." It stated, not impressed by Shara's threat. While it spoke, Elm began charging up energy to create another portal, doing so to quickly create one if it and the group could agree on terms.
"Well, pretty much. Other than Vicky being okay. Ever since you guys showed up it's been nothing but secrecy. And when we got keen on you guys spying, Sam here ran away before I could ask questions." She kicked one of the trees with her heeled shoe. "I'm just sick and tired of people keeping critical secrets. I feel like I'm out of the loop 50% of the time." She turned away and paused, somewhat frustrated. "Just make sure you bring her back. And Shara, please tell me what's on the other side of that portal if you get back. Okay?"
Samus looked at Shara, lowering her cannon and depolarising her visor. She looked shocked for a second before her usual mask reasserted itself. "Shara...." Samus was quiet for a second. "You... Take care out there."
"J-Just make sure she's alright over there." Sophia asked of Shara, the look she gave showed she didn't want either to leave with these people, but at the same time knowing that Victoria was in critical condition and needed help now.
Hearing EMily, Sam raised an eyebrow, fairly suprised his identity was discovered. He would've said something to her, but kept his silence, his helmet was still muted. [color=edc393]At least she remembered my name this time.[/color]
Elm didn't respond to EMily, having gotten what it needed. With the terms agreed to, Elm set the coordinates to the watch post, and opened the portal. "Lay her down in am empty capsule, and press the first button on the touchpad, then the second one that comes up. Automated systems will take care of the rest. In case the second captive tries anything, kill the patient. If I don't return in ten minutes, kill the patient. Don't leave the room, or move to a position where you couldn't strike at the patient if necessary until I have returned." Elm instructed Sam.
Sam looked up to Elm, and nodded. Turning around, he walked through the portal, entering a white and dark grey operating theater, with three horizontal egg-shaped capsule, an opening in the middle.
Elm itself didn't move through the portal, knowing the jet-bike wouldn't fit in the room beyond.

You walk up to the portal, but before you walk through you look over at the others and, with a slight smile that you hope is self-assured, tell them that you'll be back before they know you're gone. You step through, holstering your blaster and looking around the room. However, you keep your focus up, watching the weave of Sam intensely.
Sophia watched quietly, a very understandable worried expression on her face as this Sam left. Her gaze slowly shifted to Elm, hoping he would be trustworthy enough not to do anything to either Shara or Victoria.
"Even if you do manage to disable my ascociate on the other side, you will be trapped in a building with over a thousand of personel, without hope of returning to this dimension. I suggest you cooperate." Elm called out after Shara as she walked through the portal, then closed it behind her.
Once the portal was closed, Elm turned the jet-bike, and by extension, itself, towards the rest of the group. "As long as the terms are and continue to be met, neither of them will be hurt." It stated, then began gather the power to open another portal.
While doing this, Elm turned to EMily. "Correct. I am his assigned supervisor for the time he's to operate in this dimension. And he is indeed working for the organization I'm part of after he was repurposed."

After looking around the operating theatre, Sam walked towards the middle pod, and gently laid Victoria inside, face up and head pointing to the narrow end of the pod. While keeping Shara in his periheral vision, Sam approached the pad at the footend of the pod, which glowed with light in various shades of yellow and looked it over for a moment, the characters depicted on it being unreadable to him. Following Elm's instructions, Sam pressed the first button, then pressed the second button that popped up.
The pod made a humming noise as it came to life, whereafter several mechanical arms, each with a different intrument attatched to it came out of the side of the pod.

First scanning Victoria, the systems found her physiology was a little different then the known animal folk of the universe, but similar enough that it wouldn't cause any complications.
With the scan complete, a transparant lid slid over the open, covering it. From this lid, a horizontal beam of light shone down on her, starting at the feet, and moving up to her head, this light killing sterilising the pod.
When this was done, one arm inserted the intrument into the laser wound, extending the tip to reach the exit point, and filled the holes up with a small dose of biogel to seal it. While this happened, an arm with a scalpel attached to it cut Victoria's shir and bra, followed by an arm with a clamp pulling the pieces of closing aside.

Sophia continued to watch the area where the portal had been, waiting patiently for it to reopen with Victoria safe and sound. 'This waiting is horrible...' She thought, rubbing her temple, her body giving away her anxiousness about the situation.
