"Alright." Sophia said simply, some of the ill feeling that she'd felt before gone as she gave Matilda a hug. It was a bit on the short side, but never the less it heartfelt. "I think I'm going to try and get some more sleep now, hopefully nothing else interrupts us for the time being." She informed Matilda before she started to walk away. "Take care."

"Well the mages like fire, lightning and air have an easier time since they just move the air around them, but water and earth need their stuff physically there, but ya I can make my own. And yes it does have it's own properties." She trailed off near the end as she looked over at the Mason sisters, not exactly wanting to have this conversation again. "It depends on what I'm using it for really, but it's pretty troublesome most of the time, that's why I was so insistent on learning more about it."

"Not much tv reception out here." Sniper says at first, but then rubs his eyes. "I've still got my own things to deal with. My...parents passed away recently and...I've been looking into it." he says.

Miss Pauling did not look particularly surprised. "And let me guess, you looked into it and found they aren't your real parents, right?" Sniper seemed flabbergasted, but nodded. "Right."

Steve's fierce stare dissipated somewhat.
"I'm sorry to hear that." He said. "I've been following up some personal stuff myself until lately. An old friend of mine from the war. He... well, I'll just say he fell in with the wrong crowd, and took up... your line of work. Went AWOL, now he's made some very powerful enemies, the US government included." He gestured back at Joanna, Kenna and the vampires. "We all have things to deal with, and some of their stories make that one sound pretty insignificant."

"Ya, I've noticed that there are different forms of magic, Erica showed me how to heal when I was hitting a brick wall myself, but yes when it is used properly it can do great things." Sophia grinned a little. "What's your magic like then?"

<color=purple>"I wonder how the others are doing. Let's hope they're doing okay." Gwen sighed.

[color=003399]"It's mostly channeling spirits to use their powers. There's a bunch of rituals involved, plus other rituals like cursing people and stuff. I was sort of learning the basics before I ended up here."[/color] Joel replied.

"...What do you know about my parents, Pauling?" Sniper asked after thinking about what Steve said.

"If you follow us on our mission, you'll find your real parents." Pauling said as she gestured back to the ship. Sniper was silent...before picking up his rifle and walking toward it.

"Ya, it was Grey right? Hopefully Samus and them didn't run into anything they didn't see coming." Sophia commented, before looking back into the car with Joel. "That's not something I'd really be interested in learning about. Sorry." Sophia confessed back to Joel, shaking her head. "But that's definitely different than what I've seen already."

Steve turned and watched the Sniper go, before bowing his head in silent satisfaction.

The vampires and Pauling followed back into the ship.

"Lets go people. No time to lose." Pauling said as she entered the ship.

<color=purple>"What? I'm only positing some possible traps." She shrugged. <color=purple>"Plus you haven't seen sticky paper where I'm from. Condensed matter physicists discovered the best adhesive for the ultimate sticky paper to trap people instead of bugs.

Steve began to stride back towards the ship.

"Please tell me we are going somewhere colder than this next." Joanna said to Pauling as they boarded. "And that whoever we have to find is not completely mad."

Samus walked back to the ship, the still-drugged Kenna on her shoulder.

"I don't even wanna think about how horrible that would be to get caught on my fur." Sophia shuddered. "Gum is a nightmare already, let alone super science gum."

"Why, what kind of beasts live in this land?" Joanna asked Matilda uncertainly. "Surely it cannot be worse than in Drangleic."
