Instead of using common sense and just making another portal on the ground, Joe drew a door portal, and jumped through to a lower level of the base with Alek and William. The original portal he shot from that bow when they first got to Preginald's base should still be there. All they needed to do was get there!
No sooner had the heroes made it to the door, the roof collapsed behind them! Pm and Jack were still battling it out. Joe sprinted through the door with a puff of smoke, dragging everyone behind him, as they stumbled along, barely able to stay up right.

As they rounded the corner, the camera panned in front of the heros, Joe had started running even faster. His arms were high above his head and William and Alek were holding on for dear life. As Joe sped away the two beasts slammed into the corner they just passed, Pm had been pinned. Jack took the opertunity to race after the heros, firing a couple of blasts from his ring as Joe ran in zig-zags trying to dodge. Just a Jack was about to catch up PM slams Jack into the floor with both feet, as Joe rounds another corner.

As Joe rounds the corner, the area he's in seems familiar. It was the vault hallway! But he couldn't go back as Jack and PM have now started fighting with their swords just in front of the hallway. As Joe ran down the long hallway he called out to Omega.
"Yes" he called.
"My hands are full, when we round the corner coming up you need to draw a door for us. Then draw a giant vacuum coming from one of my pockets!" Joe yelled.
"Ok" Omega answered, unsure of the vacuum part.

As they made it to the end of the hallway, Omega waved a large paintbrush and created a doorway through the Vault of 'Merriment' All the Alarms were blaring as they ran straight through followed by PM and Jack firing lasers in every direction. As they entered the vault the vacuum started up and the millions of chocolate coins were sucked up into the infinite dimension of Joe's pockets. Pm and Jack explode through the door of the vault, as it flies through the air and hits the other side smashing the back wall exposing the way out.
Joe hops through to find the entry bay where they first entered the base. on the close side is the portal drawing still where it was left, but on the other side... was the jumpy castle!
"Joe we need to get out of here!" Alek shouted at him, as the others ran with Omega to the portal drawing.
"But but the castle!!" Joe was tearing up, there it was the best jumpy castle EVER and it was about to be destroyed...
Jack and PM smashed through the wall, still battling it out, but before Joe could see the fate of the jumpy-castle Alek grabbed Joe and with Omega's help slipped through the portal into the hover-bus.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!" Joe yelled out.

Alastair was crushed by will as the trio of hero's entered the bus. "Ow! Jesus!" Alastair excliamed. Alastair fell along the floor of the bus avoiding the rest of the hero's. "Where have you been?!?"

Something had tripped several of the wards that Eragon had placed at the fortress. No sooner had they gone off, Joe and Alek disapeared through a portal. Picking up a glass of water Eragon whispered "Draumr kópa" while focusing on Joe and Alek. The water went black then shifted to reveal and image of Joe and Alek. He could see their mouths moving and they appeared frightened he muttered another spell to let him hear their words and his suspicions were confirmed. Something had attacked the base and was now talking with the pair of them. He only got their half of the conversation as you can only scry what you have seen before but the enemy had resisted one of the wards Eragon had set down; a paralysing wards. However Eragons ward that marked those who crossed it so he could recognise their minds from greater distances and the mark would also maintain a whole in his opponents mental barrier if he had one, allowing easy access.
Eragon ended the spell and then drank the water. He began medatating on the new development.

Red tendrils of energy surround the ring, then shoot out, destroying all which they touch. The Peregrine Mendicant backs away, then absconds. Leaving behind Preginald's crumbling base, and the surrounding countryside covered in blood and ravaged by the Red Miles.
The area around Preginald's fortress now looks like the left side of the planet below.

Sofia was asleep she dreamt of a battle she was part of? She was swinging her sword, slashing, killing everyone around her. She heard cakeling. It was her Mother. She now knew where she was. Her villages nearby forest the day her mother started to use her witch powers.
Sofia was scared at the thought of having to relive this moment. Alastair was there being turned imortal (Just for then) and being stabbed by swords. Sofia wanted to end his pain by making him mortal. "Dad!" she shouted. Sofia's Mother, Elaine, was strikeing people down around the forest. She picked up her freind's bow and arrow and shot an arrow. Elaine deflected it. Although it gave Sofia time to run up some stones and stab her mother.

Dromaeus was jolted out of sleep by Sofia's screams. He snapped his head around, a hand going to his sword, before realising what had happened. He gave her a cold stare, before trying to settle down again, his tail flicking back and forth with agitation. He wondered when they would be able to get out of the accursed flying machine again.
Eragon stopped meditating and looked at his parchment titled: 'Du Wyrda Vandr'. He had began writing it to keep himself occupied and it mirrored his mood. 'The Ill Time' was the translated title of the work and it perfectly described how Eragon felt without Saphira. This was by no stretch the longest he had been without her but those other times he knew where she was but now...he had no clue.
Seeing that Dromaeus had awoken he said "It seems Preginalds fort has been attacked by an unknown enemy." He began puzzling how to finish his poem absantly.

"And I think they might have gotten the jumpy-castle!!" Joe was fighting just to hold back the tears.
"With how long it seems to take on this bus, and the fact that half the base was destroyed just trying to escape, I don't think so..."
"It seems to be over now...the attacker tripped two of the wards I had placed on the fort but somehow resisted one." Said Eragon as he looked up and set the parchment into a pocket. "I scried Joe, Alek and Will confront it but I can only see and hear things I've already seen when I scry so all I have of the attacker is a mental tag on him. If it comes for us I'll see it long in advance." Finished Eragon.
