Sibylla appeared to be in deep thought over the question she was asked. "Ah dunno. Ah jus' ate whatever folks brought me. Never much paid attention to whut any of it really wuz." She ended up replying after several moments.

Since Speedy was apparently ignoring her, Cybil went off to go do something else.

"Hmmm... nothing too peculiar. Beyond visible light is infrared light, and that allows me to see different temperatures of objects. However, I cannot see below the ocean in infrared, as I would only see the infrared coming from the surface of the water. In ultraviolet I can see some of it coming from the sun through the clear sky. There is not much else viewed by the other frequencies."

The woman would eventually find an inn after a few minutes of walking.

You thank the mercenary when he returns with your new sword, adding that you believe it'll be put to good use. You then judge the balance and weight of the sword, swinging it a few times to get a good idea on how it handles.

In the time she flew close to the mercenary ship, Timea looked the various people on deck over more, cocking a head as she looked to EMily's glowing eyes. Not interested in the goings on enough to slow down, Timea quickly passed the mercenary ship, continuing to go some 35 kmh/21 mph, and looked straight ahead to see if she could spot the mainland yet.

"Well, just going by the fact that snakes are meat eaters, I'm going to assume you are as well. If you'll notice you find yourself getting weaker, tell me, and we'll change your diet up", Timea said to Sibylla as her eyes scanned the horizon. "Remember what I said about needing to survive by your own wits and strengths, though. I'll teach you the skills you need, and I'll support you, but I won't carry your weight entirely."

After Speedy had successfully deflected the weird attack from the cat lady by ignoring her, he decided to return the favour. Forgetting to give a warning again, he started his jetpack with a BANG for a short time and flew on the head of Cybil. Then he proceeded to poke her ears. "Your ears are cute." he stated.

"There are many other wavelengths that my people have given to these invisible bands of light; Radio waves, Microwaves, Infrared, Ultraviolet, X-Rays, and Gamma Rays. The radio waves have the least amount of energy and are still used on my world to transmit messages across long distances. Microwaves are also used to transmit messages, and used to heat water for cooking. X-Rays are used by physicians and doctors to see through objects with negligible harm. And gamma rays are the most energetic, and probably the most harmful. But they are rarely found. In natural occurrences, they would come from what are called radioactive minerals such as uranium. A long word meaning a material that creates harmful radiation."

Inside the inn, the woman would walk much slower, using her hands instead of her ears to find an empty seat near the counter, avoiding the beating hearts while doing so.

Then she asked the name of the city and if the inn had a free room for her to stay over night. She proceeded to ask for a drink, vodka to be exact.

As the ship sailed towards the mainland, the sun would begin slowly setting to the southeast. Despite what one might expect, there would be no sign of the moon rising in the sky.

Up above, Timea would be able to see Palladein and the rest of the mainland in the distance.

The woman would be told that the city was called Palladein and that there were rooms available for a few silvers. She would then be given a glass of vodka.

Robin just about understood that, nodding along. "You said you had power over electricity, correct? Perhaps you could look over my spell book, try the magic out."

"Well I also could take many hit too, ya. You sell humanity short, stone woman."

"It's not the same." Aqua said, not wanting to admit that Heno had a point.

Hillary thought for a while as she tried to pin down what she ate. "Well, normally we don't really eat much at all." She stated. "Like, you really only eat when we feel like it. But we eat lots of sweet stuff like jellies, and syrups and beans. Nothing here looks right though, even the ground is different." Hillary added, lying her head on the rim of the pouch, sounding quite puzzled as to how to say what she'd like given how vastly different the world looked.

 

[Silence]

She drank the vodka in one go, then asked for another, while bringing forth five silver coins, stamped with the image of a skull and an inscription in non-roman letters. After feeling the inscription, she laid them on the table.

"That enough?" she asked.

 

[Slenn]

"Hmmm... I suppose it wouldn't hurt a looksee." She looked over the grimoire in Robin's hands. "I would like to see if it's in a language I can understand before I'd go any deeper."

"Most of it can only be read by mages, but I've annotated it and there's illustrations for the runes and stances." Robin told her, handing her the tome.

Noting it was getting dark, Timea hoped she would be able to find a good place to use as shelter, as she didn't like the idea of needing to go back to Kaisir to pick up the rest of the shark in the middle of the night. Seeing she was draawing close to Palledein, Timea pulled in her left wing, banking to the right to avoid flying over the city, then looked around for the mountain range.

Timea hmm'd in response to Hillary, then asked, "But this changing into other materials, you've never done this before, right? So... does this most things where your from are made of this... "slime"?"
