Luckily for Heno, the names he chose sounded close enough to Kaisiri names that the woman didn't question it. "Nice to meet you all." she smiled.
As the ceremony had been completed, the crowd had mostly dispersed by this point.

As Homer entered the temple, he would see that, every 8 or so metres was an archway coming out of the wall, each one around a metre thick. Presumably, these structures were in place to support the roof. The hall was filled with benches, all facing the far end of the building and separated into two groups.
Between the two sets of benches was an aisle, leading up to a raised platform, upon which was an altar. Sitting in the altar, was a straight sword, with the handle slotted into a hole in the centre of the altar to keep the weapon upright. Most notable was the fact that the sword was on fire.
Standing near the altar was a Calibethan man, possibly in his forties, with his right arm outstretched. A woman was wrapping a bandage around the man's forearm. Both of them were wearing white robes with blue trim, though the man's robe lacked a right sleeve.

The merchants seemed relatively uninterested by EMily's skills, until she mentioned her understanding of machinery and research. "What is it that you research, miss?" one of the merchants asked.

As Timea flew over the ocean, the fire of the Temple of Calibeth in Palladein would shine like a beacon, illuminating the area around it. Further to the east was an even brighter fire, which Timea would just be able to make out. If she looked around, she might spot a couple more, similar, fires in the northern part of the desert.
