"No, no. Not in the slightest!" Timea answered, giving a small laugh at the end. "I like hot environments. Even deserts like these, I can comfortably walk around in. The cold, on the other hand... it just sucks all the energy from me, and suddenly, everything takes twice as much effort", she explained, bringing her hands to her chest, and slowly moving them out to the side while wriggling the fingers at the mention of energy being sucked out. "Ever so unpleasant."

 

[Drakmorg]

Cybil went back to sitting around while waiting for time to pass, not having anything else she could possibly do.

 

[Furioso]

Yeager was. more than a little shocked and confused. "Vell now, I seem to have interrupted something, so I'll just be leaving..."

 

[ShindoL Shill]

Califorth glanced over at Yeager, scowling angrily. "No, you won't be. Not alive, at least." he said. The guard standing behind Yeager looked around the room, not quite sure whose side to take.

[hr]

"Well, it's only like that in the most northerly regions. When you leave the desert, it's not much colder. Quite pleasant, in fact." the priestess said.

 

[Furioso]

Yeager was backing away out the door. "Oh sure I will. I'll just valk out the door, and you can get back to your regicide!"

 

[ShindoL Shill]

Califorth raised his left hand, and hurled the knife towards Yeager, though the attack wasn't very accurate. "For someone whose business is war, you seem like quite a coward." Califorth commented, the flames on his sword taking on a bluish tint as they heated up.

 

[Furioso]

Yeager casually sidestepped the knife. " Oh, you hurt my feelings. I know what happens to people who don't know when to quit. So, tata for now liebchen!" replied Yeager as he turned and ran.

 

[Chungus]

"That is good to know!" Timea responded, more happily. After pausing to indicate a change in subject, Timea said, "Ah, I have no more questions. Thank you for your time, madam... ?" Near the end of the sentence, Timea trailed off, on a questioning tone, indicating she waited for the priestess to state her name.

 

[Outisakanobody]

Jane handed the flower over to Emily. "I was serious about it maybe being poisonous, so be careful." she added.

The guard panicked and ran after Yeager, clearly wanting to escape as well.

[hr]

"Eina. Mother Eina." the priestess stated.

 

[Silence]

"I understand." Anik said. "So could you or I carve some runes into my swords, and then make it ... do stuff?"

 

[Furioso]

Yeager didn't care about the other guard, so long as he stayed out of his way. He looked behind him to see if he was being followed as he ran for the exit.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"A sword? We could try it. But I'd rather have a professional smith or someone else who's used to metalwork engrave it, to get it right." Robin told Anik.

 

[Chungus]

At the priestess stating her name, Timea gave a kind smile, and dipped her head. "You've been ever so helpful. Have a nice day, Mother Eina."

With that said, Timea turned around, and walked away, to the bench Sibylla had laid herself down on. Looking down to Sibylla, a small mischievous smirk crept over Timea's lips. Leaning closer to Sibylla, Timea began lightly tickling Sibylla on her sides, by wriggling her finger tips over them.

 

[Silence]

"That sounds like a plan." Anik said. "So, anyways, can you show me a simple rune and spell, so I could try to get a feeling for it?"

 

[Slenn]

She pulled out some rubber gloves from her satchel. She did pack to travel onto another world after all.
"Thank you Jane." And she took the flower gently.

"It's definitely bioluminescence. Hmmmm.... Anyone have a vial on them?"

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Right." Robin stood. "I know you're blind, but can you tell how things... look or are shaped?"

 

[Silence]

"Yes." Anik answered, "Either I just feel them, or I sense their echoes, if I create sounds myself."

Aside from the fleeing guard, nobody was coming after Yeager.

Finding the lack of a chase suspicious, Yeager slowed to a normal walk, so that he wouldn't alert anyone else that something was amiss.
