Homer nodded. To be perfectly honest, astrophysics was not his strong suit, but his background in technology helped him interested Emily somewhat.

Topaz just grinned as EMily got mad at him. His body briefly turned into a lump of yellow light as he shapeshifted, reforming into a near-perfect copy of EMily. I ask this, as when I was in Calibeth City a while ago, rumours were spread about the arrival of a new god amongst men, which lead the prince, of all people, to come out into the open to investigate. The claims were disproved quickly, but the fact that they were believed to begin with had me thinking. I've seen enough to know that a god coming to this world isn't something that happens on a daily basis, so you'd expect a claim like it would be met with a big helping of scepticism at best, yes?"
