"Let's see if there are actually people living in there, first"

, Ultron responded, turning its head towards Yeager, then looking back towards the tree, beginning to walk towards it.

Ultron's drones approached the tree at a faster pace, and once they were a safe distance in front of Yeager, pointed their hands down, and blasted off, each drones flying towards a different hole in the tree to get a closer look. Ultron didn't seem very concerned with how jet-powered flying robots would be received by the potential natives.

In the temple, Timea idly looked around its interior, firstly to the floor to see if her walking on it would ruin it. Finding the floor solid, and rest of the temple to be near identical to the ones she had seen before, she straight ahead. Spotting the priest, Timea began approaching him, calling out to him once about half way towards reaching the priest. "Excuse me?" She gave the priest a small wave, her hands being free, having given the cactus back to Sibylla to carry.

OoC: Off for a bit.

Yeager waited, arms crossed, while the drones scouted. "What kind of person would live in a tree?"

As each of the drones approached a hole, they would see that the holes all led to underground tunnels. Further inside these tunnels, the drones would see the glowing flowers lining the walls.

The priest looked over at Timea, and smiled at her. "How can I help?" he asked. Timea would likely notice his skin, hair and the irises of his eyes had slightly grey undertones, in addition to the brown tone typical of other southern Calibethans.

 

[Wackymon]

"Alright. So, guess I'll just put myself in charge of tactics, in case things go south. As it is, I have a silenced ten milimeter pistol, which isn't that loud, should be capable of crippling people's arms in case things go south." she said.
She looked at Robin, "Or I could try my hand at watching your back in case anyone tries to kill you. Either will do."

"I'm the tactician, but I'd be glad for the help." Robin said to Sally with a smile. "And I'll gladly take the cover."

 

[Drakmorg]

[color=9f2089]"That's the idea, yeah. You guys alright with it?"[/color] Cybil replied to the elf who had commented on her idea.

"Naht where ah'm frum there ain't. Ain't nuthin' like you or her exist there."

Sibylla scoffed at Timea's response. "If there ain't nuthin' diff'rent b'tween people and animals, why'd we bother catchin' these rabbits instead'a jus' eatin' that man we saw earlier? He had a lot more meat on him..."

"Who knows, but I think there are people living here. I'm seeing tunnels, and they look like they were dug"

, Ultron responded, stopping after a few paces. It had no trouble controlling the four drones, while simultaneously talking to Yeager.

Noting the tunnels, the drones landed, and went inside, lowering their head or ducking if needed. The each looked for signs of life, while moving down the tunnels.

At Sibylla's counter, Timea was quiet for a while, holding her hand stiffly, while thinking what would be the best way to answer. Eventually, she settled on not dancing around the issue. With a matter-of-factly tone, she answered, "Do you want an honest answer? Just because I expect you wouldn't appreciate the idea of eating a human, and the fact that there was too much meat on that one, it would just go to waste.

But make no mistake; If there was nothing else available but humans, I would hunt them. And I would treat it no differently then any other prey."

Timea did notice the different colouring on the priest, and wondered why this was, but didn't immediately ask about it. Instead, she finished her approach of the priest, then asked, "Yes, hello. I want to look into old gods, and a priestess in Palladein mentioned you might have records of these available. Is this true?"

"I don't have any problems with it." the elf replied.

As the drones searched the tunnels for signs of life, the would come across a number of doors, with the sounds of conversation coming from behind them. Deeper into the tunnels, they would overhear the group, and spot Mochán sitting in the tunnels, his eyes seeming to glow blue as they reflected what little light there was in the darkness.

"Are you sure she said we would have them? The first god that was worshiped here was Calibeth." the priest replied.

 

[Drakmorg]

"What's a 'hugh-man'?" Sibylla asked Timea, once again not recognizing words she used.

Present

Sibylla had taken to napping on the benches in the temple once again.

"That's kills the doubt, I'm seeing doors, now"

, Ultron relayed to Yeager.

"And... hmm.... what's this? This doesn't look right. There are a few people that look out of place, dressed in modern clothing. Some of them, at least. They're probably from other worlds too"

, it continued to report, then shook its head.

"That situation makes less sense every time I see something relating to it."

"I'm going in to take a closer look, now."

Whitewood, inside tree​

Walking through the tunnels, the group might notice some of the drones, hard to miss in the darkness with their eyes and chest piece emitting a blue glow.

Upon noting the group, drones #1 and #4 began approaching the area they had gathered in, while #2 and #3 stayed near one of the doors, to evesdrop on the conversations going on behind them.

"Uhh... ", was Timea's initial response. "Most of the people we've met so far were human. With the exception of the person you spoke to on the farm, which is a Vesh'Rah. I think", she answered. "Whatever the case, humans in turn, are a type of ape."

Hannamar, present​

"She didn't mention this place, specifically, no. Just a settlement in the north would. And this being the religious centre, I thought this would be a good place to start looking", Timea explained. "If there isn't anything of the sort here, do you know where I could find the records, in this city, or otherwise?"

 

[Furioso]

Yeager was loath to speak to a bunch of tree dwellers, and mentally prepared himself for doing so. "Ugh, great. Vell hopefully they'll have a map or something."

 

[Slenn]

EMily would start to feel the presence of the electromagnetic fields that came from the drones. Her head started to dart around curiously and then heard Magic Eye's voice.

"Electromagnetic signal detected two meters below. Signature is similar to robotic CPUs."

"What?" She was doubly confused.

"If all of you have had a drink," the elf indicated the barrel and cup. "We should be ready to head up."

[color=32127a]"I haven't seen robots like you guys before."[/color] Mochán said, as he looked over the drones. [color=32127a]"What are you doing here? You're clearly not natives."[/color]

The other drones would hear a few people wondering what the commotion earlier outside had been about, and other talking about a group that was planning on heading up the tree, something which a few of the elves seemed to consider suicidal.

"The areas much further to the north worshiped other gods, before the war. Some of them might still have records about them." the priest explained.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"I think we're ready." Robin said with a nod.

 

[Wackymon]

"I'd also like to try to talk to them first- Fighting should be a final resort." she said. "I'd like to look around, before we go, howevev-"
She heard EMily's eye bing.
"Well crap. Either we have some Robots, or folks from my world in Power armor have come through. In which case, I need to figure out what's going on." she said, sprinting out of the room, grabbing Robin by the arm, "Come on, wizard boy, I'll need some help with them", and aiming for the first mechanical thing she saw, seeing if she could incapacitate it, but not destroy it.

"That could be the most you could get out of these people. The ones that I think are natives are carrying... what are those big knives called, again... "

Ultron responded, trailing off near the end of its sentence. It was quiet for a moment, then stuck its finger into the air.

"Swords! That's the word, they're carrying swords. That, and bows. Anyway, I doubt they would have much money to throw your way for your services."

Whitewood, inside tree​

Ultron, through the drones, initially wasn't paying much attention to Mochán, but had drone #1 stop and look down to him once Mochán spoke.

"You're..."

, it began, but cut itself off once Sally ran towards the drones with weapon drawn.

"Yeah, I think we'll just be leaving."

With that said, drones 1 and 4 then began walking backwards, while 2 and 3 turned around, and began walking back the way they came with a quickened pace.

Hannamar, present​

"How much further north are these places? I didn't see any fires on the temples burning beyond the one here, and one not very far away from it. So any place beyond must be very far, yes?" Timea questioned, hoping it wasn't in the frozen tundra.

 

[Silence]

"What are robots? I don't like the sound of it." Anik asked.

 

[Slenn]

"Robots are what Magic Eye is. They are constructs that use electricity and are able to perform automated tasks. Some of them are capable of intelligence. Some of them float in the air, some are on treads, and some of them walk on two feet."

 

[Furioso]

"Uh oh, did the natives have a little freak out when they saw your friends?" asked Yeager on hearing that he was pulling the drones back.

Robin was dragged along by Sally, somewhat disorientated. When he saw what seemed to be an empty suit of armour flying away, he gaped for a moment before concentrating, trying to get a read on its strength and abilities.
