Seeing Sally start immediately sprinting towards something new with her weapon drawn and ready to fire, Cybil muttered to herself, [color=9f2089]"Does killing just have to be everyone's immediate response to everything?"[/color] She released a frustrated groan.

Mochán sprinted after the drones, yelling at the others to stay back and go up the ladder. [color=32127a]"I'll handle things down here."[/color]

The elves all looked quite confused, not understanding what the danger was. They were slightly wary at the prospect of strange beings walking into their home, but were not so worried they would immediately charge in to a fight.

Hannamar

"That would be because this is the most northerly Temple of Calibeth in the nation, until the one in Femesh Daer way up north." the priest replied. "There are farming villages, trading posts, ports and so on between here and there. Those would be your best bet. Some are quite close, but the older ones are closer to the middle of the continent."

"No, it's one of the outsiders, carrying a gun. Not one that's in the best shape, either - it looks held together by sticky tape, by all rights. But I'd still rather not have a confrontation"

Hannamar, past​

"Here, and on my world, too", Timea answered, loosening up her wrist again. Having expected more of a reaction from Sibylla to her earlier comments, Timea cocked her head, and asked, "Either way... you took my telling I wouldn't have a problem eating humans... really tepidly. Don't you have a problem with it?"

 

[Furioso]

Yeager chuckled. "Good luck with that. I've already had two of these other worlders try to murder me in cold blood! I don't expect this to end nicely."

 

[Slenn]

"It sounds like our cat will go after the robots. I'll send along Magic Eye."

"I will hurry."

"Make sure you take good pictures." And Magic Eye went to follow Mochán.

 

[Wackymon]

Sally's imdiate Response was to shoot one of the drones in the leg until the drone could no longer walk. Her response was to nod to Mochan, and looked to robin, "Sorry about that- The robots don't appear to be any model from the Wasteland, so chances are it isn't from my world. So you all should be relatively safe. Try to keep that one contained." she said, nodding. "A word of warning- They say they're Enclave make, destroy them, instantly, and tell me as soon as you can manage. If the Enclave are here, this entire forest is just a few wrong moves from death."
She stood tall, "Sorry Robin. Just... Keep wary about what I said earlier." she said. "Let's just go, then."
She nodded, and went up the ladder.

Whitewood, inside tree​

Scanning the drones, Robin might find there wasn't anything organic about them. They were very durable, made of a titanium alloy, but they could be disabled easily if certain parts within their neck were damaged. Using stuff he wouldn't know what it was, firing from their hands and feet, they could fly faster than anything he had seen. Said stuff could also be fired from the hands for offence, ranging from simply applying mild concussive force, to making things blow up. Finally, he might find the drones were very strong.

Given drones #1 and #4 were walking backwards, Mochán wouldn't need to run very fast to keep up with them.

Shooting them in the legs, Sally would find her bullets only doing the bare minimal damage, the plating not even being perforated. She wouldn't have the time to give lengthy instructions and turn around to climb up the ladder, as in retaliation, drone #4 raised a hand at her and fired a plasma blast at her. This one was calibrated to not do very much damage, doing nothing more than knocking down with concussive force, if it hit. Somehow.

"Stop that!"

Drone #3 turned around, and began running through the tunnel.

Drones 2 and 4 were close to leaving the tunnel system.

"There was also that puppet that attacked me, back in the village"

, Ultron said to Yeager.

"You called these calibethian people barbarians, but so far, people from very different places haven't been exactly exemplary citizens, either."

Hannamar, present​

"Right. I see. A last question, then. Do you know how long it might take to get to these places in central Calibeth, on horseback?" Timea asked, finding knowing the time it would take for a horse to reach a place giving a better sense of scale than asking how far away it would be.

Anik frowned, and started to head up the ladder.

Speedy thought: Tree. Robots. Tree. Robots. and decided to run after Mochán, but staying back a little behind him, to observe.

Forest

Matilda and the other elves began heading up the ladder, too. As the group climbed, they would find that they suffered no strain or exhaustion despite having to put quite a big of effort into the climb. The climb itself would take quite a while, since the tree was very tall. At the end of it, the group would come out in a small room, which had a number of trapdoors in its low ceiling.

Mochán would follow the drones outside, stopping at the entrance of the hole when he saw Yeager and Ultron. [color=32127a]"Are these friends of yours?"[/color] he asked, pointing at the drones with his nose. He sniffed the air, checking to see if Yeager was also a robot.

Hannamar

"Well, it depends. Anywhere from a few hours to a day, considering the size of the region. Stopping to rest would add time to the journey, and the terrain is quite rough at parts." the priest responded.

 

[Slenn]

The intelligence probe, catching up with Mochán, proceeded to take pictures of the drones that they had. It also used a 3D infrared imaging laser to record a model of the drones. It floated next to the cat.

"Object identified. Robotic intelligence confirmed." Its speech was sent through radio to EMily's computer, Photon. It then looked at Ultron, and proceeded to record him as a 3D image.

 

[Furioso]

"Ahaha, a fair point. I'll amend my statement then. Most things can amount to little more than barbarism... he said as he heard the gun fire. "Right on cue."

"I'm going down. Now I'm curious." She said, dematerializing Photon and then coming up behind Mochán and Magic Eye.

Whitewood​

By the time Mochán and co had left the tree, drones 1, 2 and 3 had already left, and moved in front of Yeager and Ultron itself.

Ultron looked down to Mochán, then from him, to Magic Eye, EMily, and Speedy, finishing by looking back to Mochán once more.

"More or less"

, it answered, cocking its head, and giving a small shrug.

"Come to have finish the chat away from your trigger happy friends?"

Scanning Ultron, Magic Eye would find it was the same model as the drones, with the only difference being the obvious damage. While Yeager had fixed Ultron enough that its joints were moving smoothly, it still missed the majority of its armour, with significant corrosion damage on the plating it had left, missed a left hand, and its right eye was broken, easily visibly by only the left having the light glowing.

"I see. Well, I have no further questions. Thank you for your time", Timea answered, giving the priest a small nod. After, she turned around, and walked to Sibylla. Waking her up, without tickling this time, Timea left the temple, and began walking to the place Hillary mentioned having maps.

 

[Slenn]

EMily's face was unfettered.
"The person with the assault rifle is new. Robin, Mochán, and I are actually quite docile. My name is Emily."

"I wanted to take a good look at the robot that had appeared out of nowhere. He seemed to have gathered the attention of my Eye." She looked him over. "You're a construct. A robot with an intelligence on the level of humans, judging by your manner of speaking. Such things are considered rare where I come from, but also people. I want to know who you are, where you're from, and what you wanted to do here."

 

[Furioso]

Mochan would be unable to smell anything amiss with Yeager with his normal cat senses.

Speaking to EMily, Yeager, said "Vell, that's a rude way to make an introduction, ja? Most people vould start with something like "Hi, my name is so and so." Like this, hi, my name is Yeager. Now you try!"

[color=32127a]"Pretty much. They've got other stuff to be getting on with, too."[/color] the cat replied, looking up at Ultron. He then pointed at Yeager with his nose as he said, [color=32127a]"I assume this one isn't controlling you, or else he'd speak for himself. So, who's pulling on your strings?"[/color]

The map-having place Hillary would have found was a small caravansary on the edge of the city, which had some horses and carts outside. Within was a map on the wall, which labeled a few of the places most relevant for traders. These places were the various cities of the region, which included two Timea would not have heard of; Lestha and Maltha. It also detailed roads leading across the region, and other rest stops along the way.

Ultron let out a small chuckle upon hearing Yeager's response to EMily. Once Yeager finished speaking, Ultron said,

"What am I, under arrest? How about saying "please"?"

Near the end of its sentence, Ultron idly waved its right hand around.

Its drones stood by, motionless.

Upon hearing Mochán, Ultron looked to him, and was quiet for a moment, then let out a small laugh.

"Says the cat wearing a collar. ... But to answer your question: There are. No strings. On me."

Near the end of its sentence, Ultron placed extra emphasis on the words, and spoke in a lower toned voice.

Entering the store, Timea looked around the various maps on display, committing every detail to memory, not taking very long to do so, despite the fair amount of information she memorised. Once done, Timea turned towards the inn keeper, saying, "Excuse me? I have some questions, could you help me with those?"

 

[Slenn]

"I apologize, but save your snarky remarks. I gave you my name. It's Emily."

"You came in unannounced, and your technologically advanced friend is not native to these lands. So of course we're going to ask questions."

She said to Ultron, slightly chuckling at his smart-alec comments.
"You're not under arrest, but could you please answer my questions?"

 

[Furioso]

"So you did, forgive me liebchen, perhaps I was distracted by your talking cat friend..." said Yeager as he turned to look at Mochan "Who exactly are you, anyways?" he said before turning back to EMily. "As for your insistance on having us answer questions, it sure sounded like one of your friends fired at us first. From where I'm standing you look like the one's that need to be questioned, perhaps by some law enforcement... Oh, by the vay, have you seen a blind woman around? She'd probably fit right in with whoever was firing the gun."
