"I think your hands would work better for your sword..." Solaire said, trying not to lose hope in Robin's sword abilities.

"I was mostly just thinking of the second, but both kinda fit now that I think of it." Cybil scratched her chin as she thought about Winona's response. "Is that difficult or anthing?" She asked EMily.

Femesh Daer - Day 4 - 7:40

"Your daughter, mhm." Anik said cynically, believing that Yeager either had no daughters, or they were better off without him. "Goodbye sweetheart."

With that, she went back to Timea and Sybilla, thinking about drinking again, but deciding it would be pretty counterproductive at this point. Clenching her teeth, she used her cane to find her way.

"To be perfectly honest, I've only tried archery when I was little but then I switched over to guns. It's not that hard to remember how to do it when looking around at others. It's just that... " She stretched her arms and had a guilty look on her face. "I think I may have underestimated the amount of tension that's in the bow, so I think I'll go back to the... closer targets."

Femesh Daer - Day 4 - 7:30

Timea frowned upon hearing Sibylla's explanation, stopping with walking. "We have to get this... thing out of you... . Maybe we'll have better luck with that in Vesh?", she mused. She was quiet for a moment, then continued walking. "Time will tell, I suppose. Until then, your usual method will have to do."

Timea then spoke with a lowered voice again. "Is there anything in particular you have to turn into stone for this to stop, or would anything do?"

Femesh Daer - Day 4 - 7:40

Anik arrived near Timea and Sybilla, and grumbled. "Damn undead..."

EMily continued to go through the quiver on the closer targets so they wouldn't strain her arm. Winona had W± ready with a data repository entry on archery displayed on a hologram. Being a fast learner, it wasn't all that hard to figure out the stance and the position. But like the training with punching on the boat, EMily's lack of upper body strength showed. Even though EMily had been working on doing push ups during other moments of travel since their boat trip across the swamp.

After the 10th arrow, EMily huffed and cracked her neck. The hits were spread around the center of her target, with an improvement in accuracy in the latter half of the arrows.
"That's quite a workout. I would sure like to see some metal targets so that I could try shooting with Photon."

She looked around to see if there were any targets she could use that wouldn't ignite.

Femesh Daer Area - Day 4 - 7:40

After finding Hillary, and sending her over to the ship, Timea was back out in the forest, helping Sibylla catch food. She looked for traces of a small animal, looking for tracks, droppings, while sniffing the air to check for scents.

She kept doing so, even when Anik returned, but did speak. "You found what you were looking for, then, yes?" she asked. She didn't know what "undead" meant, but didn't consider it important enough to ask immediately.

Femesh Daer - ~7:30

EMily wouldn't see any metal targets she could use, since all of them were made for people training with bows.

"Kind of. You would not like it. And neither do I, but what can it be helped? Let's just go to Vesh." Anik said, a little bit more calmed as they were not in the city anymore.

"So, what are you doing here?" she asked.

Femesh Daer Area - Day 4 - 7:40

"I like this plan of action you've come up with~" Timea initially responded to Anik, sounding joking about it, but was actually sincere. After, Timea paused, before answering Anik's question. "We're here looking for something for Sibylla to catch. It'll take half a day to get to Vesh, I'm not going to let her go without eating something all that time."

After saying this, Timea paused again, shorter, this time. "We have some time to kill, maybe you should pay attention to it, give yourself some survival skills."

"Sounds like a good idea. Seemingly I have to live out in the wilds for the rest of my life." Anik stated, not happy. "I wonder how I can hunt. ... I want to do it as well." she added, more enthustiastic.

With that, she concentrated on the smaller, animal hearts around them, trying to figure out what and where they were.

With EMily finishing her bout of practice, Cybil glanced back over to see how Robin and Solaire were doing.

Femesh Daer - Day 4 - 7:30

"Ya'll really think that's possible?" Sibylla replied to Timea as she began following her. "Naw, anythin'll do really."

Femesh Daer - Day 4 - 7:40

Sibylla used her snakes to focus mostly on scents and vibrations as she hunted. She was too engrossed in the act to pay any attention to Anik when she showed up.

"Perhaps a demonstration might help you in some way." Solaire told Robin, then looked for Cybil who happened to be looking at him at the same time. "Cybil! Care to help?"

Femesh Daer - Day 4 - 7:31

"I won't lie; I don't know. There might be something out there that can help, but it could be you'll be stuck like this. In this case, it would be best to hope for the best, but expect the worst." Timea answered Sibylla, not liking being as harshly realistic, but considering it better than giving false hope. "Either way, buying yourself some time is easy, then. Why do you think this is as it is, however?"

Timea was surprised on the enthusiasm Anik showed for wanting to learn how to hunt, not expecting her to show more willingness than none at all.

"Well, I'm already teaching one blind person to live of the land, I can teach you, too." Timea still wasn't very fond of the idea of teaching Anik survival skills, but figured she might as well give a few pointers while teaching Sibylla.

"Your ability to sense "hearts" will make things a little easier for you, in this case. But it couldn't hurt to learn how to track prey the normal way, regardless. So, how is your hearing, and sense of smell?" she questioned, while continuing to look for prey, herself.

"You are right. I don't know how to catch." Anik said, wondering how she could do it in a landscape she did not know, without using self-created sounds. "I hear quite well, and smelling should not be a problem either." she added, thinking the questions were unnecessary. "People normally tracked prey by looking at footprints, so how should I do it?"

"By sound, and to a lesser degree smell. To focus your hearing, you can cup your hands behind your ears", Timea answered, then approached Anik. "Like so. ...Touch incoming." With this said, Timea took hold of Anik's free hand, and brought the hand up so it pressed against the auricle, pushing it forwards a little. "It looks a bit strange, but it works.

With how the snow screeches under the feet, it shouldn't be heard to locate something moving. Of course, they can hear you, too. So you you've located something, it's a question if choosing carefully when to move, and when to stay perfectly still."

Anik let Timea do her thing, although she doubted the necessity of such a move for herself, especially since her hearing was probably better than Timeas. The questions she instead wanted to get answers to, were related to her own sounds:

"And how do I decide when to move? Is there something the animal does, that distracts it from listening to my footsteps?" she asked.
