Utarra - 23:30

"I see. That would explain it", Timea said. She thought the reason behind such attacks were likely about resources and/or territory, but wanted to ask, just to make sure. She opened her mouth, about to do so, but kept herself from it, thinking it would be best to do it the next day, so to not stay up too late, and risk over-sleeping.

"Let's go, Anik. We should get some rest, now", she stated, looking to Anik, then back to the dock worker. "Thank you for your time." With this said, she turned to leave.

"Thank you." repeated Anik towards the worker, then turned and followed behind Timea. She yawned. "Indeed, I need the rest. It's also why I asked if we could wait a few more hours." Anik said as they were walking back.

Robin looked over the room and the guards as he waited for something to happen, assessing the place in case of a fight.

Vala - Day 8 - 15:45

Cybil was obviously annoyed by being separated from the diplomats. But after realizing that the Calibethans had the entire walk-up to the building to kill them if that's what they wanted to do, there was no real threat. She tentatively relaxed for the moment.

Utarra - Day 8 - 23:30

"That was good information to ask about. Although... I wouldn't really know when any few hours have passed, anyway. So it's always just a gamble."

Utarra Area - Day 8 - 24:00

After the twenty minutes, Timea and Anik reached the campsite. "I'll take the first watch", Timea stated, crouching down, and gently laying Hillary down. "Have a good rest."

After Anik would lay down, and sleep, Timea looked for and picked up a decent sized rock, and carved into this to pass the time. She would do this for four hours, then feel too sleepy to continue the precision work.

Relieved Anik woke up after another two hours, Timea eagerly switched watch, curling up, and falling asleep very shortly after.

Anik's sleep was restless, but good enough to get her fit for the next day.

She spent the early time of the day with the same things she had the other days, listening to birds, trying to make some snowballs, washing herself.
At some point, she thought about hunting, and did try to think of how to do it, but did not feel ready for it to do it alone after being confused of what around her was what animal. She did however explore her surroundings a bit, running in a wide circle for a time after making sure she would not accidentally hit something.

Utarra Area - Day 9 - 12:00

When Timea woke, Anik was sitting at a fire again, this time with her blindfold on. Hearing Timea wake, Anik put out the fire and walked over to her, saying: "Good morning." in an upbeat tone of voice.

Utarra Area - Day 9 - 12:00

Waking up, Timea got into a sitting position, and let out a soft groan as she stretched. When Anik walked over, Timea looked up to her. "Good morning, Anik", she greeted, sounding groggy. "Just... give me a few moments to come to."

Timea would stay still and silent for two moments, doing some light stretches from time to time. After she let out a small sigh, and said, "okay, now I'm all alert." She paused for a moment, then said, "Well, before anything else, I want to talk to you for a moment, Anik."

Vala - Day 8 - 15:45

Robin would observe the room he was in to be one of the larger rooms in the building, with a few bookshelves and desks in it. The room had a number of books, and some maps, though a few of them were slightly outdated and very worn. The desks and shelves could be used for cover, if needed, but the room had two doors, one behind him and one in front of him, meaning in a fight he might end up trapped.

Anik sat herself next to Timea while she was waiting to fully wake up.

When Timea was finished, she turned her head to Timea, furrowing her brow. "Yes, what is it?" Anik said, in a more unwilling tone of voice.

Before answering Anik, Timea looked to Hillary, calling out, "Hillary, we need you to play by yourself for a bit, okay? Why don't you find a stick, and pretend to fight of spooks, like a big hero~?"

With this requested, Timea looked back to Anik. "How are you feeling, Anik? I've noticed you have been doing worse, recently; Your sleep is restless, you've been crying the night before last night, and are all tensed up when walking around the cities", she said, speaking with a somewhat lowered voice if Hillary was making lots of noise, or a hushed voice, if she was playing fairly quietly.

"Worse?" Anik said, slightly confused. "... I don't think I did much worse. To be honest, it is a wonder I can even sleep, I ... drank myself to sleep before.

So that is an improvement, right? I have nightmares, though. I've always had them if I did not drink."

She tried to make herself more comfortable where she was sitting, not really successful. "I don't know why I cried. It just came over me, for no reason. I just let it at that point of time, no reason to try to control it. It does seem to get better, though. Just ... I just don't know why.

But ... in the cities, I don't know. It just seems more ... it is not as bad as when I was surprised by it, I now know how much I can take. I don't know why it got stronger again, though. I have no idea."

Hillary would take a bit of time to get an idea of what to do, the act of playing 'the big hero'. Initially she'd just go make a couple of snowmen, up until she noticed a rather big imposing boulder close by where she was playing. With the idea of protecting still rattling in the back of her mind, she pretended this boulder was actually a super spooky boulder monster, and started hurling snowballs at the rock monster. She would also shout and call for all her snow buddies to help her as well. It was worth noting as well that she had also turned into snow herself, a rather fluffy variant which was more liquid looking than a solid compacted kind.

"I don't think the crying was for no reason", Timea stated, after Anik finished speaking. "You were quite upbeat before that night, so I think you thinking something happened with Hillary is what triggered the... need to cry." She placed minor questioning emphasis on "need", not sure if it was the right word.

After a small pause, Timea continued. "Let's go back to that night, specifically, when it turned out nothing was wrong, and after I went to sleep. What went through your mind? How did you feel?"

As she spoke, Timea occasionally cast a glance to Hillary as she spoke, enamoured with the antics, although otherwise, not distracted by them.

Robin didn't like the tactical setup of the room, but he figured what Cybil had figured and relaxed a bit. "How long do these meetings usually take?" he asked his Calibethian counterpart.

"Mmmmh, maybe." Anik responded. She listened to what Hillary was doing, smiling about what she heard.

"I don't really remember." she answered to the questions. "I think I did stupid? But ... I did not want to think about anything. I just cast it aside."

The unwillingness to talk about things she wanted to ignore was audible in her voice.

"Was that all?" Timea questioned. She picked up on Anik's unwillingness to talk, and thought she needed to break through that barrier before anything else. Tying the blanket around her neck, and covering it with a layer of hide again, Timea scooted closer to Anik. "Hillary is making sure no one can hear us, and I won't judge. Talk to me. Your feelings are safe", she stated, speaking softly.

Hillary would continue throwing snowballs until the patch she was virtually cleared of snow, Hillary didn't have any more snow to fight her hardy foe. At this point she finally noticed that she'd switched over to snow, as she'd tried to grab herself. Regardless with no more ammo, the rock monster would definitely get her snow buddies. She quickly scooped up the tiny snowmen, and stuck them into her mound before scooting over to a new patch a small distance away, but still easily within vision. She would then set them down and then continue pelting the rock.

"I know. I just ... I was feeling quite good right now, and you bring it up again. I don't really feel like it." Anik stated. "Also, I really don't remember. I overreacted. I thought something happened to Hillary. And then I ... I overreacted to me feeling too stupid, just waking her. There was no reason for me to cry after I knew everything was fine. "

Shifting her position again, she added: "Why am I so emotional? Just because I let myself fall a bit. Which I still think was the right thing to do. But I can get overwhelmed by these feelings. They should not even be this strong, when it is only little things!"

After Anik finished speaking, Timea let out a soft "hmm" as she thought. Eventually, she said, "Maybe you get this emotional, because you've never had people to care for like this. And now that you do, you're very attached to these bonds, and disproportionately react to any negative experiences with them. Does that sound right?"
