Noting Anik reaching out for her head, out of the corner of her eye, Timea glanced down, and after some consideration, took hold of it, but only held it lightly.

"I understand now", Timea confirmed. She thought if there was anything else in the line of questioning to pursue, and decided there wasn't, and to move on to other things. "Now, let's talk about how you feel in cities", she announced.

Anik thought for a bit, answering very hesitantly: "Not really, no. At least I think not ... I have noticed that I did not think of hunting the same way as before, after we had this talk. I was more sure about it before ... well, when I did not think about it. Now my conscience plays a part. That's the only thing I can think of that has changed drastically in my views. Other than that ... I was getting more confident.
And then this hit me again. It sucks."
More frustrated after thinking about it, Anik tried unconsciously to squeeze Timeas hand a bit more, but let more loose again after noticing what she was doing.

Timea felt a small increase in how tightly Anik held her hand, but with the short duration, didn't mind it.
"Hmm. Well, if nothing changed in your views, let's look at how your situation has changed between those points in time. You've gotten closer to both Hillary and myself. With Hillary, you've started to have more physical contact, and I've opened up to you more. How do these things make you feel?"

She turned her head to Timea and smiled. "I can not thank you enough.
These are, however, just good things. I can't think of anything really negative. Other than sometimes being unsure of it."

At Anik's display of gratitude, Timea smiled, herself, even if she found getting such gratitude a little strange. "It's good to hear. Learning what makes you happy is as important as learning what makes you unhappy", she stated, then paused for a moment. "The contact with Hillary seems to have a strong effect on you. The night she cuddled up to you, your sleep was more sound than all other times. When we go into the city, hold her hand as we walk. I want to see if this might change anything."
After saying this, Timea paused again, a little longer, this time. "But for now, let's continue the last conversation we had like this. We talked about what went through your mind, after you came to the ruins of Calibeth City, and before running towards me, you said you had a realisation? What was this?"

Timea said nothing as Anik trailed off, initially, and hold of Anik's other hand, as well, thinking this might comfort Anik more, and help her be honest with her feelings. At the same time, Timea couldn't help but not look forward to what the answer would be.
Her feelings not showing, Timea said, "take your time."
