"Well who wouldn't be enthusiastic about that? Pirates are jerks that attack common people and need to be taught a lesson." The brunette girl replied to Robin matter-of-factly. The girl was completely unfazed by Heno's abrupt appearance, only looking up at him and saying, "Sorry, don't know any."
"Oh well that's even better! We're definitely in now!" She said, with her eyes lighting up, after hearing one of the sailors correct Robin.
"Now how in tarnation'r ya'll gonna manage that?" Sibylla apprehensively replied to Timea, having had enough recent experience with weird stuff to not completely write off someone having the ability to control the sun, but not believing it to be entirely possible either.

Presently

"About the same way I sprayed water on you.", Timea answered. She then placed her hands on her hips and leaned closer to Sibylla, continuing to speak with a lowered her voice. "I can blow a variety of things, sunlight being one example." She then stood upright again, and raised her voice back to normal speaking levels. "It won't feel quite the same as rays from the actual sun, but it'll warm you up nicely all the same."
A little later

Seeing the two shark-like creatures, Timea waited until the two were a fair distance apart, then tucked in her wings to her side, diving head-first to the water, aiming to land near one of the shark-creature's head. Hitting the water, Timea made a massive splash, creating movement in the water that might move the creature some.

Once underwater, Timea turned her bird-like wings into bat wings, using those to swim towards the shark-creature.

Her eyes started darting around at the ocean, recalling something about mermen. Could this be the homeworld of those mermen that I saw on Earth?
"Wait, I overheard something some time ago when I first arrived here about mermen. What's that all about?"

Once Timea entered the sea, the unnaturally still waters began moving, pushing up against her. She might struggle to see, as very sunlight would be able to penetrate even a small amount of the water. One of the shark-like creatures quickly turned and swam away, however the one Timea had dived towards was too dazed by the movement in the water Timea had caused.
"The merfolk? They're human-like creatures that live under the water and raid our ships sometimes." one of the sailors stated.

Noticing a force pushing against her, Timea moved the mass in her lower body to her chest and wings to produce stronger strokes.

Reaching the shark creature, Timea would get as close to the back of its head as possible, then morphed to be 2 metres long, with the bat-like wings moved to her back, and a pair of taloned legs where the wings had been. The feathers had retracted into the skin, with smooth scales being left in their place.

Timea would then try to wrap her front legs around the creature's neck, ideally positioning them so that the lower leg pressed against the creature's gills, if they were located in the same place a actual shark's would.

As Timea tried to swim against the current, the ocean would push back with even more force. When Timea forced herself down to the shark, she would be able to wrap her legs around it. However, it would begin thrashing around violently. Additionally, Timea would start hearing various voices in her head, demanding she leave. Among the voices would be whalesong and dolphin-like sounds.

Hearing the voices in her head, Timea looked around, very much disturbed by the experience. She looked around to see who was speaking, not fully comprehending that her mind was spoken to directly, but couldn't see anything with how little light was penetrating the water.

Eager to get out, Timea would grab the shark creature more firmly, hooking her talons into its hide for extra grip. She also wrapped her lower legs around the shark and dug the talons from there into it, but with the mass from there moved to her flight muscles, didn't have quite as strong a grip as her front legs had.

Using strong strokes from her wings, Timea began swimming up towards the surface. She wasn't entirely sure if it was actually the surface she was swimming towards, being somewhat disorientated by the currents and lack of light, but considered the opposite direction she was in when first breaking the surface of the water a good guess.

Oh crap. We might be in some trouble unless some of us are skilled underwater.
"Do you have a picture of them in a book somewhere?"

"Uh... maybe. I'll go check." the sailor said, before walking off below deck.
Timea, with the help of the current, would be able to pull the shark out of the water. Once she had left the ocean, it returned to its perfectly still state. The sounds in her head would become almost silent, but would continually whisper warnings to not disrespect Kuvita again.

Once out of the water Timea took a deep breath, and beat her wings more strongly to gain altitude quickly, to get out of the reach of anything that might leap up after her. When she was satisfied with her altitude, Timea began flying her catch back to the island, though would stay away from any populated area. Despite the extreme size of the shark creature, she only didn't have too much trouble flying it around.

Continuing to hear the voices in her head, albeit softly, Timea's eyes darted around the area, her apprehension increasing when finding nothing in sight could speak to her. Regardless, Timea would focus on finishing off the shark as she flew, so it wouldn't have to suffocate to death.

Forming a hole in the palm of her claw, Timea fired a beam from it that would sap the creature's energy, the effect doubling with each second of exposure to it. Although she had to stop every four seconds and catch her breath, this would make the creature too weak to sustain itself eventually, leading to it dying of cardiac arrest.

"Well, let's quit standing around." Jane said as she tossed Homer onto the deck. She then looked for any creates that needed to be moved, figuring that would not require sailing experience to do properly.

As Jane approached the pile of crates, Some of the sailors were having bets to see how many crates Heno could carry up. So far it was about four with a fifth being carried up to him.

While the brunette seemed fine with the sudden hug, the blonde was not. She winced and immediately broke away from Heno in a huff. "Don't touch me..." She half-hissed before walking off to a corner. She wasn't nearly as excited about fighting pirates as her companion was, letting a little sigh leave her lips. She didn't bother to help with the crates.
Nirvana, on the other hand, was carrying about two crates of stuff at a time, figuring she had nothing else better to do. She'd be following after Jane.
