Nirvana laid out on the deck and yawned softly, not giving much mind to the newcomers... or even the group. She seemed to be in her own little world at the moment.

"A friend of ours managed to get us passage on this boat, in exchange for protecting this ship if pirates attack. I think at least. He seemed very enthusiastic about it."

"Well, I'm sorry", Timea stated, lowering her a head little. A moment after, she looked up again, and lightly clapped her hands together. "How about this; to make it up to you, I could give you a sunbath some time? Would you like that?"

A little later
After a talk with Sibylla, leaving her with the suggestion that she try and find if anyone knew anything about the phenomenon of people appearing from other worlds, while warning it would be best if she didn't tell anyone about the reason behind her wearing a blindfold, Timea moved to a spot in the city where she was out of sight, and turned into a bird, and flew out of the city, to open waters.
While moving over the docks, Timea noted the group standing on the deck of the mercenary ship, noting Nirvana and the cat people were with them, amusedly thinking there was a convention going on. Seeing the Vesh'Rah, Timea wondered if they too were from other worlds, though didn't descent and try to find out.
Moving further out to sea, Timea looked around to see if anything large was swimming near enough to the surface to be seen, not sure on how far out she'd need to fly before even having a chance to spotting one of the sea monsters, not knowing just how much a kilometre was.
"So, what skills do you have?" the sailor asked Robin.

After a short while of flying over the ocean, Timea would be able to make out dark shapes under the surface. Though the lack of light would make it hard to see them with much detail, they would still obviously be quite large.

Spotting the shapes, Timea stretched out her wings, and went into a glide. When over the general area where the creatures swam, Timea circled around and look down on the water, counting the number of creatures she saw, and trying to make out their shape, and which end was their head.
When needed, Timea would flap her wings a couple of time to gain some altitude.

Timea would see two of the shapes below her, and would be able to identify the tail end, due to it being thinner. The creatures had an obviously shark-like shape from above.
EMily was not too phased with the idea of going after pirates for some cash. It was just within her moral comfort zone. The Magic Eye was floating beside EMily and had decloaked itself. It was currently mapping the area in its memory cells.
