"The... Minion is Shara. She's been placed under some kind of spell, and has to follow whatever orders that bald sorcerer gives her. We treid talking to her but she was told to kill us, so we couldn't stay there for long." Robin answered.

Cybil hummed to herself in thought for a moment. [color=9f2089]"I hadn't thought of that, and I kinda like it... but I can't see it working."[/color] She sighed and her ears drooped for a moment. [color=9f2089]"She's currently in custody of the military in this city, and we don't have the pull to go and ask "Hey, mind handing over custody of that accomplice to the dangerous criminal that attacked your city yesterday?"."[/color]

Vala - Day 11, 10:18

[color=46e16f] "Hehe... No wonder..." [/color] Zephy scratched the back of her head, her ears drooping in turn. [color=46e16f] "If that's the case, then we've no choice but to wait..." [/color] She paused for a moment before sighing. [color=46e16f] "Breaking the minion out would also be defeating the purpose..." [/color]

She then turned toward Robin and quirked an eyebrow. [color=46e16f] "You're saying that as if I'm supposed to know who this person is. The name doesn't ring a bell at all." [/color]

Meltha Area - Day 13 - 10:15

Anik did about 35 squats, sweating and panting heavily after she was done. She softly pushed Timeas arms off her shoulders, smiled and said: "Alright. This was some exercise. Now - let me just catch my breath a little bit more."

 

[Chungus]

Meltha Area - Day 13 - 10:19​

Letting her arms fall back to her side once Anik finished, and somewhat slowly, reverted the mass in them back to what it's usually. "Take as much time as you need. And don't forget to drink some water, you've lost a good amount of fluid, just now", she instructed. "I'll start heading out, now. So, if you don't need me for anything else, I'll see you later~"

 

[Silence]

Meltha Area - Day 13 - 10:19

"Yes, I feel the thirst." Anik answered. She took off the blanket, helt it out to Timea after fanning the flames, then already created some water with her ring.

After Timea had taken the blanket, Anik smiled and said: "See you, then! Good luck out hunting!"

She drank some of the water, then began to wash the sweat off her body as well.

Southern Grasslands - Day 13 - 10:49​

After taking the blanket from from Anik and saying goodbye, Timea turned, and began walking southwards, holding the blanket against the front of her body, igniting the fire, and covering it by a layer of hide. Walking until a good distance away from Meltha, Timea then turned into a bird, and flew southwards.

Reaching the grasslands between Meltha and the village, Timea searched for prey for twelve minutes at high speeds, covering a sizeable area, but didn't find anything suiting her needs. Giving up her search, for now, she instead caught a boar bull. This, while large, only amounted as a light meal for Timea, didn't do too much to still her hunger.

With the catch made, Timea paid silent respect to the prey, and picked it up, and began walking towards the road.

Meltha Area - Day 13 - 10:19

After finishing her wash, Anik put on her clothes again, then walked to Meltha. She asked about information about the others, and got that they were there, but far long before they had even come back from Vesh in Femesh Daer. As there was no reason to suspect more information would be given in an inn, Anik assumed that she had heard all from the guard she talked to. She thanked him, and walked back, finding the cane in the ground soon enough.

Unburying the caribou, she prepared herself a medium sized breakfast, not taking too long. This done, she took the body by its legs, and started walking the way Timea had described, following Hillary for guidance.

After about 2 hours, she came near the place where Timea was waiting.

North-eastern Road - Day 13 - 12:30​

After finishing her meagre meal, picking her teeth and washing her mouth and hands, Timea laid herself down on her back by the roadside and looked up at the sky. She laid still for roughly an hour, then began feeling bored, and started wandering around, moving between bushes, and picking a handful of blackberries from them.

While doing so, she smelled Anik's scent drawing closer and stopped, moving to meet Anik. "Anik!" she called out, "Hello again~"

 

[Silence]

North-eastern Road - Day 13 - 12:30

Anik changed her pace to being a little bit faster, smiled and called back: "Timea! How did it go?"

North-eastern Road - Day 13 - 12:30​

"Not too well, this time, I'm afraid. I only managed to find and catch a hog, but this won't really do a lot for me.", Timea responded, sounding a little dejected. She stopped a few paces away from Anik, and was quiet for a moment. "... Could I have some more of your meat?" she asked, not liking needing to ask it a lot.

 

[Silence]

North-eastern Road - Day 13 - 12:30

"Oh." Anik made, also somewhat disappointed in the answer. But when Timea asked, she smiled and said: "Sure. I think I have plenty left."

With that, she let go of the caribou, and moved closer to Timea without it.

North-eastern Road - Day 13 - 12:31​

"Thank you", Timea answered, walking over to the carcass. Crouching down besides it, she laid down the berries she had picked, and formed talons on one hand, and began cutting away at the hind legs. While doing so, Timea said, "I picked some fruits, while waiting for you. They're to my left. Be careful where you put them, however. They squash easily."

 

[Silence]

North-eastern Road - Day 13 - 12:31

"Sweet." Anik said, and walked over, carefully using her cane and crouching down when being next to Timea. She felt for the berries, and put two in her mouth immediately. "Mmmh." she said, sitting down and using a scarf to wrap the berries in. She ate some more tidbits while doing so, however, listening to Timea preparing the meal.

North-eastern Road - Day 13 - 12:31​

"You like it, hmm? Well, we could try and pluck some more, before heading out again, if you'd like", Timea suggest.

Cutting at the hind leg further, Timea lifted it up, to expose the ligaments, but didn't immediately continue cutting, smelling the scent coming from the meat, it beginning to enter the early stages of decomposition. "Hmm", Timea began. "It looks like the meat is starting to spoil. It should probably still be edible for, approximately, another two days. But probably no longer than that."

 

[Silence]

North-eastern Road - Day 13 - 12:31

"I love sweet things, I can't help it." Anik laughed, as she continued not being able to stop herself from eating the berries. "Sure we can pick some more, or I can, while you prepare your own meal."

As Timea informed her about the state of the meat, Anik frowned a little, then said: "So that's why it tasted differently ... I hope I don't get sick from eating this. Well, it's good that you eat some of it then, I would not manage to eat all of it, anyways. ... Take as much as you want."

After a couple of minutes, the innkeeper returned with supplies for Quan Chi.

North-eastern Road - Day 13 - 12:32​

"Oh, no It's not at that stage, yet. As I said, it should still be perfectly edible for another two days, even if the taste will start to deteriorate. A good way to check, alongside with how it smells, it the meat's texture. If anything feels softer and looser than it should feel, that's the time to leave it for the scavengers", Timea explained.

"Either way, I was planning to eat as we move, but if I'm going to take more than just a piece or two, we'll be here for a while. So, yes. You can go search for more fruits. Watch out for the spikes growing from the bush its branches; you can prick yourself on those."

 

[Silence]

North-eastern Road - Day 13 - 12:32

"I think I won't be able to do much watching out." Anik chuckled, "But I'll try to be careful. Hmm ..." Having an idea, she felt insider her bag for another scarf, and wrapped some of the cloth around her hand, then cut it apart with her burning dagger. She did the same with her other hand.

While doing so, she said: "Brr ... I hope I will never accidentally touch such a spot. This is disgusting. I'm certain I would leave the whole thing to the scavengers, if I felt something like that."

As she was done wrapping her hands in cloth, Anik got up, clicked, and walked in the direction of the bushes, not out of hearing range from Timea, so they still could talk.

North-eastern Road - Day 13 - 12:33​

"Well, at that point, you should", Timea said with a small chuckle, continuing her cutting work.

As Anik left to search for berries, Timea cut off one of the legs, then flipped the carcass around, to do the same with the other. "By the way, did you learn anything while in the city?" she asked as she worked, raising her voice a little so she was easily heard.
