Timea was quiet for a brief moment, deciding that pushing the matter wouldn't get her anywhere. "Okay then. But we should talk about this, eventually. Ignoring it does no good." She was quiet again, taking another small bite from the leg, and pushed the other parts away, each having finished roasting. "Are you in the right mind state to continue talking about the other topic?"

Timea noted much of what she said got no reaction, which mildly irritated her, but she let the topic rest, for the time being.
"Well then. After we left, you spend more time amongst the ruins, encountered machines, and had a falling out with a person that was with the others, at the time. Let's talk about this", Timea stated, continuing speaking in a neutral tone, but one that was just a but different from how she spoke, before; less factual, and more attentive. "This Sally, you said she acted in a way that reminded you of how you used to be? How did seeing yourself reflected like this make you feel?"

"No." Anik said simply, but increasingly more agitated. "No, she did not remind me of how I used to be. The empty city reminded me.

At Anik's outburst, Timea looked on with a look of confusion. Then, she felt conflicted; Feeling Anik saying she had the best interest of justice at heart was practically the same as claiming to be good, and as such, didn't feel like she should apologise. But at the same time, she considered not doing so could add more fuel to the fire.
After some thought, she chose being genuine over apologising. "I see. Well, I think we should take a small break, now. You should scream, to clear your system."

"... Alright." Anik said shortly, then took a deep breath and started screaming, holding it for 30 seconds, so her voice would not get lost. Still, after panting, her voice sounded hoarse:

As before, Timea was swept up in the scream, but kept herself from saying anything. Instead, Timea took two quick bites from the leg as Anik screamed, swallowing it a few moments after Anik finished. "So, then. I want to go on another tangent, then it'll be enough for today.

Anik answered immediately: "I can never make good what I have done. So I am a terrible person. And will stay being it, no matter what I do."
With that, she sat down, feeling some tears run down her cheeks. "I guess this is my punishment. Not being able to prevent my freakish tears from running anymore." she said, exhausted.

"Hmm. I've said it before, and I'll say it again - I don't think you're a bad person. Someone who has done terrible things in the past, yes, but you strived to be better. And succeeded. Whatever it is you may have done, I forgive you for it", Timea stated, speaking more softly. She paused, and blew a soft sigh. "I wish you could forgive yourself, as well."

"I hope I can, too ... sometimes I don't think about it, but then I get into this mood again, and can't forgive myself. I don't think this will ever stop."
She shook her head, then let go of Timeas arm. "What am I doing?" she asked herself, took off her blindfold and started to wash her face with water she created.

With Anik leaning in and hugging her arm, while Timea didn't really enjoy the action, but was at least happy to have this show Anik wasn't too angry with her. "Who can say. You are still young; Time might heal this emotional wound, eventually", she said while Anik was still holding on to the arm.
When Anik let go, and began washing her face, Timea was quiet for a time, taking another bite from the meat, then said, "you also have juice from the berries on your lips, by the way."

Reminded of the juice on her lips, Anik licked them, then smiled: "Thank you." she said more strongly, but still with a hoarse voice. She then proceeded to include the lips in her washing.

After fifty minutes, Timea had finished the meal. It still quite satisfy her hunger, but it did help prevent her from getting cranky along the way. After announcing she was ready to leave, the party moved on. On the way, Timea didn't talk a lot, feeling somewhat frustrated with how her last talk with Anik went. And occasionally, her stomach rumbled.
Village Outskirts - Day 13 - 20:40
Drawing closer to the village after seven more hours, the party drew close to the village. "Okay, we're here", Timea announced, slowing down, and eventually stopping. "Let's stop and rest for the day, so we can do what we need to do with refreshed minds, tomorrow."

Hillary had gone off to do some speedwalking, and she did... for a couple of minutes. The blackberries and their wonderful aroma lured her in. Whenever Anik and Timea noticed Hillary had wondered off, they'd find her sitting down in the berry patch, stuffing her face full of the juicy goodness.
