As she was finished with washing her face, Anik slowly went away, while Timea was eating, to search for Hillary. Finding her heart soon enough, she walked to her, smiled and called out: "Hillary! We are done talking. You can come back."

North-Eastern Road - Day 13 - 12:55

Anik would find that she was nearing the blackberry bushes, some of the leaves brushing up against her as she drew closer to Hillary. Hillary herself had turned to look at Anik when she'd called out to her, but didn't respond right away. "Mmm Mmmm Mmm, okay." She answered, obviously seeming quite distracted. "Do I gotta go now?"

North-Eastern Road - Day 13 - 12:55

Anik pushed away some branches while doing fists, as to not get pricked, then sat herself down next to Hillary. She listened shortly for Timea, hearing her doing things, as it was not too far away, she smiled and said: "No, we still have time.

You like these berries quite a bit, don't you?"

That said, she felt around her, finding a berry on a branch after some time, and put it into her mouth. Even though she just had washed the berry juice off her lips. "They are so sweet, I love them!" she said.

Hillary nodded profusely, picking off some more berries. "Mmhmm, they taste even better than that bread!" Hillary answered happily. Hillary would continue eating, intermittently taking some more berries from the bushes. "I got some berries growing out of my arms though, it's kinda funny actually." She mused, holding her hand out to Anik while she herself looked.

Hillary's form would be largely the same as it normally was, still human in shape, although her exterior was now the skin of a blackberry. It was quite smooth however except for parts near her wrists and ankles, where it seemed to have swollen up to form a cluster of berries that ringed around her forearm, taking up the same space as a large bangle would. Her hair would have also taken on the look of a large blackberry bun, looking somewhat like Marge from the Simpsons, although not as tall. She'd also have a ring of berries around her neck as well, although these weren't nearly as pronounced as the ones on her arms and legs.

North-Eastern Road - Day 13 - 12:55

"Yes, they do." Anik laughed. She felt for more berries as well, but it was still slow going, feeling whole branches before finding new ones.

As Hillary spoke about her form, Anik clicked and felt for the hand, curiously. Taking the hand, she traced along the wrist, to the berries. She was about to pluck one, but could hold herself back. Instead, she said:
"Yes, this feels really funny. Like you have a bracelet out of berries!
That's a good idea actually, I should have a bracelet out of berries as well. So I can always eat some tidbits."

Anik laughed, then got slightly more serious, as she realized that plucking berries from Hillary would be far more easy than finding some on the bushes.
"Umm ... can I pluck and eat some berries from you?" she asked.

"Sure you can, just don't eat too fast, okay?" Hillary requested, leaving her hand up for Anik to start plucking from while she continued using her other hand to put berries in her mouth. "But how are ya gonna get a bunch of berries to grow from your hand, I thought humans couldn't do that?" She eventually asked, thinking Anik growing a berry cluster like herself was quite odd.

The innkeeper stopped, then sighed and said, "Oh, just take it. We would've tossed it if you hadn't come along, anyway, so it's not like it matters."

North-Eastern Road - Day 13 - 12:56

"I'll try." Anik said, and plucked a single berry. Putting it in her mouth, she had her hands already on Hillarys arm again, but waited to actually pluck the next berry. For a little bit. Very impatiently.
Eating the second berry, she laughed about Hillarys question, and answered: "You are right, humans can't do that. I meant a bracelet. A thing you put around your wrist, like jewelry. Not growing it. And I meant, I should put some berries on the bracelet, then, to eat while walking."

"Okay you can go a bit faster than that." Hillary said, noticing Anik was taking the slowness a bit too literal when really she just didn't want Anik to essentially rip off her arm for the berries. With Anik's hands being on the patch of berries on Hillary's wrist, she might feel the original berry growing back at a fairly quick pace, so as long as she kept at that pace she should have been fine. Flavor wise, there wouldn't be as distinct a difference as there had been for the bread. They tasted sweeter sure, but not as obvious.

"But wouldn't you just eat all the berries super quick then if they don't grow back?" Hillary continued to question.

 

[Chungus]

Village Outskirts - Day 13 - 20:40​

"So, if you two go and find a nice place to sleep, I'll go and look for something I can eat", Timea stated, looking between Anik and Hillary. "I'll see you two, in a bit~"

 

[Silence]

North-Eastern Road - Day 13 - 12:56

"Alright." Anik said and laughed. Immediately, she sped up the process a bit, eating three berries in one go.

As they were more sweet and did not have some dirt on them, Anik still enjoyed these berries quite a bit more. "Umm ... probably. You are right." she said in response. "Maybe it's not such a good idea after all."

After she had eaten about 30 more berries, Anik rubbed her belly and said: "Hmm, I wonder if Timea is proud of me, eating this much in one go." She laughed again. "But I think I can't eat a single berry more. No room in my stomach anymore.
Should we go back to Timea, now?"

Village Outskirts - Day 13 - 20:40

"See you!" Anik said, and let herself be led by Hillary, to a good place to sleep - and prepare her own dinner.

"Well are you gonna get in trouble that you ate lots of berries from me or something?" Hillary asked as she peered around the immediate surrounding berry bushes, having picked a good chunk of them clean. "I guess we could go, I don't see any more for me to eat right here. Someone else might like to have some later." Hillary said as she got up, sticking her hand into her mouth.

"Good luck Timea!" Hillary added before leading Anik to where they'd eventually find a site to camp.

 

[Silence]

North-Eastern Road - Day 13 - 12:56

"... no, I don't think so." Anik said, smiling. "We are in a bush and nobody saw us anyways, right? ... but also, I just plucked berries off you. That's not like eating a hand or something!" In her mind, however, she felt slightly guilty.

"Let's go then, guide me out." she added, as she got up as well, and touched Hillarys arm, so she could lead her.

"I guess those berries aren't hands..." Hillary would agree, although feeling that regardless of what it was, she had still been sharing with Anik regardless. She didn't stay on this topic for much longer however as she helped Anik navigate back out of the blackberry patch, sucking on her other hand she wasn't using at the time.

Village Outskirts - Day 13 - 21:10​

After saying her goodbyes, Timea turned around, and walked ten minutes away from the village outskirts. There, she moved behind a bush, and turned into a bird. Taking flight, she then flew off, and searched the surrounding areas. Having even less luck than the day before, she found absolutely nothing worth taking in the 20 minutes she searched. Not wanting to venture too far from her companions, she headed back.

Flying back to the village, Timea didn't turn back into her default form, instead flew over the field the horses were kept in. Not fearing to be pelted with magical projectiles like in Vesh, Timea didn't really care for how many people were in the field, swooping in, and carrying a horse off. Making a U-turn, Timea then flew northwards again.

As Timea flew by the second time, Anik might faintly hear the horse's panicked neighs overheard, this possibly telling her what happened.

Village Outskirts - Day 13 - 21:10

As she heard the horse, Anik frowned a little, guessing what had happened, and not liking it, especially because Faotar had told them to not break laws. Still, she did not judge Timea for it.

As Timea was about to land, Anik had already cut off some of the flesh of the caribou and roasted it. At this point, she had eaten about 2 kg worth of flesh, and had 2 more left, cooked. With it, she ate some berries, her last apple and pear, and drank her last beer.

Woods - Day 13 - 21:30​

Flying ten minutes away, Timea figured she would be far enough away from the village that she could easily get away in case any villages came looking for their stolen horse, Timea slowed down, and moved close to the ground. Still wanting to give the horse a fair chance at survival, she then dropped it, and picked up speed again, making a U-turn. Having turned around by the time the horse had stood up, Timea chased it. It took her some effort but she managed to chase it down, re-capture it, and kill it.

With this done, Timea eviscerated the horse with her talon, and used her beak to pull the organs out, laying them in a row. After, she took sixteen minutes to clean the stomach and entrails, and roast them along with the rest, and another 28 to eat it all, her large form facilitating quicker eating.

Opting to eat the rest of the horse, later, so to not be away from her companions for too long, she took flight again, picking up the carcass as she went. Flying back to where she had first taken off, she buried the carcass, taking another eight minutes, then turned back to her default form, and headed back. On the way, she thought about her story, should a villager ask about the horse.

Village Outskirts - Day 13 - 22:35​

Reaching the camp site, Timea approached Anik and Hillary. "I'm back!" she announced, fairly cheerily.

"Welcome back!" Anik called out, smiling. "Did you ... satisfy your hunger?"

"I didn't eat it all in one go, but it filled me nicely, for now", Timea answered, sitting down near Anik. "I'll go get the rest, later in the night, when I won't really have to worry about being disturbed." From Anik's wording, Timea assumed Anik knew what happened, and didn't explain it further than she did.

With this said, Timea asked, "what about you? Did you eat well?"
