Anik followed Timea, and started to take off her clothes, when Timea asked. Anik answered: "I ... don't know. I can create a little fire on the ground, but I need to be able to draw the rune. And it's not very easy for me, I get out of place easily. Still - I could try carving this rune in a piece of hide, although I don't know if this is actually the same one that is on the blanket, or on my dagger.

... Didn't Robin do something more, not only draw the rune and activate the blanket, when he created us these things? Infusing the rune somehow ...

So sorry, I don't think I am able to make this work."

Village Outskirts - Day 14 - 09:08​

"Hmm. Oh well. I just thought that if you could make something like this yourself, you could do it on an ankle-bracelet, so you can start walking around without shoes on. But it's something we don't really need, so it's no loss", Timea said, finishing untying the blanket in the middle of her response. She then held this out to Anik, and held out her free arm, horizontally.

"Either way, here is the blanket, and I have my right arm raised."

Village Outskirts - Day 14 - 09:08

"Huh ... oh well, would be quite useful, but I want to use the boots for longer walks, still. My feet would get damaged quite a bit if I would wander these distances without some." Anik said, and pulled the dress over her head.

She clicked and took the blanket, wrapping it around herself, then activating it. She felt for Timeas right arm, took hold of it with both of her hands, turned towards herself, then started to pull herself up.

After just a moment she realized that she was quite easily able to pull up her own weighth. Not thinking too much of it, she did more pull-ups, until she started glistening with sweat, slightly.

As Anik started the exercise, Timea looked at her for a moment, noting she seemed to have next-to-no difficulty doing it. Figuring Anik could talk while training, as such, she looked up to the sky, and said, "hmm. You know, it's strange. Even being as cold as it is, none of the plants have frozen. It's safe to assume a deity keeps them growing, even without the sun. But this makes me wonder; Has it always been like this?"

Anik answered in phases, while pulling herself up and down.

"I don't know." she said. "Is it really ... this cold, that they should freeze?
After Vesh, ... this feels almost warm.
Still, they probably should not ... grow without a sun.
So it is quite likely ... that a deity is responsible.
And I would think ... this is at least as long as the deity exists.
We could ask Et ... if this already was before the gods ... came from him/her."

"Hmm. If any deity is responsible for this, it's probably Avinah. Her domain is the growth of plants. Or at least, that is one of them. This actually overlapped, to an extend, with Calibeth, so it would make sense, then, that the plants don't necessarily need sunlight." She thought for a moment, then let out a "hmm", looking back down to Anik.

"But, yes. We can ask Et about this. Speaking of which, you'll have to be the one to make contact. I don't really want to cut something into my chest, again."

"Yes, Avinah.
She did create all life as well, didn't she?
According to Faotar."
Anik said.

"This is fine."
she answered to Timeas second statement.
"I don't need to
carve new things
into my chest or something.

Last time
the scar for strength from Faotar
was enough to call Et."

"Precisely", Timea said, in response to Anik's second comment. After saying this, she was quiet for a moment, observing Anik more closely.

"Hmm. This isn't doing much for you, is it? Maybe... try it with one hand? Could that work?"

"Umm ... yes, you are right. I should have tried it with one hand sooner." Anik said, shortly stopping. She took one hand off Timeas arm, letting it dangle loosely to the side, and started doing pull-ups this way.

This took a lot more effort of Anik, as her arm had to pull double the weight. Still, she managed to do this for quite some time, even though she began to sweat.

She switched after about 25 of these to her other hand, planning to get back to it, and do 50 with each arm, as a whole.

Timea stood by as Anik continued the exercise one-handed, giving her encouragement when she began struggling. Once Anik finished, Timea let out a small laugh. "Well. It takes a bit more time, but I think this is effective, wouldn't you say?"

"Oh yes!" Anik laughed. She stretched her muscles, which had gotten quite a bit more visible over the last week, in different ways, before deactivating the blanket and giving it back to Timea.

Before feeling for her clothes, she created a water glove, and started to wash away most off the sweat.

Village Outskirts - Day 14 - 09:26​

Being handed the blanket, Timea smiled, and wrapped it around her waist again. "The work is starting to show, too. You're making good progress. And remarkably fast, too~", Timea said happily, tying the knot. Once finished with this, she turned, and began walking back to the campsite, igniting the flames along the way.

"Either way, while you're washing yourself, I'll go dig up, and prepare the meat."

 

[Silence]

Village Outskirts - Day 14 - 09:26

"Very nice." Anik laughed and smiled. "I feel it too ... not with the little things, because that's ... like feathers now, but with the training itself.

Alright. Do some good cooking for me!" she joked, and continued washing the sweat off her skin, now taking her time, as she assumed that Timea was taking some time.

After she was clean in all places, she put on qipao and coat again, already freezing a little bit, then walked back to Timea.

Village Outskirts - Day 14 - 09:31​

After another five minutes, Timea reached the campsite again. Walking over to the spot the caribou carcass was buried, Timea dug it up. The soil was put back loosely, and with the the greatly reduced size, digging it up took only four minutes.

Timea then turned off the fire, and pulled it out of the hole, and washed the parts that had meat exposed. After this, she began cutting off the front legs, cutting through the breastbone, taking out what was left of the spine, then separating the ribs. This process taking an additional 18 minutes.

Anik arrived shortly before Timea was finished, and sat herself down next to her, listening to what she was doing. She was about to ask for a description, as she felt kind of lost, not knowing what exactly Timea did, when Timea was finished.

Still, she asked: "What did you do, just now?"
