Vala Area - Day 15 - 15:00

"Sure, I can." Anik answered. "See you soon!"
With that, she did walk towards Vala, knowing the direction from her previous misadventure. Not feeling like taking her cane, she left it, and just clicked.

Asking about Robin and Cybil in Vala, Anik learned that there had been a fight with Quan Chi, and Robin had now gone again. She was not able to deduce the fate of Shara, but knowing that Robin was on the case gave her a big relief.
She was not able to learn a lot more, or meet with Cybil, as she was not let inside the northern ward.

Even though she had no problems whatsoever to walk through the city, she did not want to stay longer than she needed to, and left the city soon after asking, not buying anything.

Camp, day 11, 25:27
Another mage stepped forward as Shara headed towards the dead swordsman. He lifted his hands, forming ice around Shara's feet to try and lock her in place.

Vala - Day 11 - 25:30

When the mercenary approached the cell, one of the soldiers called out a warning. The guard in Quan Chi's cell waited until the footsteps were right outside, at which point he opened the metal door, into the mercenary's face. If successful, he would then step out from behind the door and stab the mercenary in the chest.

Day 15 - 15:00

When Anik approached the Vala gates, she would be asked by the guards what her business in the city was. By their tone, they were obviously on edge. However, since Anik had already been in the city, they would allow her to enter.

Vala Area - Day 15 - 15:42​

Timea continued eating while Anik was gone, and was still doing to by the time Anik returned. She had considered making herself larger to work away the meat in a quicker amount of time, but being as close to the city, didn't feel comfortable doing so. Nor did she think moving further away to do so would matter.

When she saw Anik returning, she took smaller bites, quickly swallowing her last when Anik was close. "Welcome back!" she called out. "What did you learn?"

Vala Area - Day 15 - 15:42

Anik smiled back towards Timea. "Well ... a lot happened in Vala. I don't know the details, but the guards were on edge, probably because Quan Chi attacked the city a few days ago.
He was defeated, though. Robin and others went somewhere else, presumably to help Shara. I could not reach Cybil.

So this is still good news. Just ... now I don't know what to do. Apart from just keeping on travelling with you."

The merc was stunned by the metal door slamming in his face, leaving him open to the killing stab. Quan Chi had a face like stone.

Cybil had elected to remain in Vala, not seeing much reason to leave.

"Quiet." Quan Chi said bitterly as Robin and Jantra arrived at the cell.
"What happened here?" Robin asked.

Mountain Camp - Day 11
You are almost by the swordsman's corpse when you suddenly can't move. You look down, and you can just barely see your shoes being encased in ice. With a curse you crouch down, pressing the release buttons on both shoes and step out of them, then breaking into a run. Even through your bodysuit you can feel the cold snow. You snatch up the sword without stopping before turning and running right at the nearest sorcerer.

Vala Area - Day 15 - 15:42​

"Hmm. If the sorcerer is defeated, then the last one who could be a potential threat to us is no longer an issue. This is indeed good to know", Timea said happily. I do wonder why helping Shara required Robin to leave, but it doesn't really matter to us."

She was quiet for a moment, taking another small bite, then said, "now, on what to do next; While the threats being gone is good in one way, it means we'll no longer be able to learn how they move around like they did.

So then, the last clear chance we have of moving off of this world would be through Cybil, assuming my suspicions on her being here is correct. So, I suppose we'll wait for whatever has held her up to pass, so you can talk to her. "

Jantra looked back and forth at Quan Chi and Cybil. "Is that Quan Chi? How did he get past us?" He asked, fear obvious in his voice despite that the evil guy was restrained.

[color=9f2089]"I handled the situation is what happened."[/color] She replied to Robin, pointing at Quan Chi.
[color=9f2089]"He can open holes in space that reduce the distance between two points. Of course, doesn't help him get anywhere when he's chained to a wall, so there's nothing to worry about now."[/color] She explained.

The soldier wiped his sword clean, then returned to the cell. "The leader has been captured, but the prisoner escaped." he told Robin. "How many men attacked? And how many of them died?"

"I understood some of that..." Jantra replied to Cybil. He looked at her ears and tail as well as her human features, a confused look on his face, but shook his head to focus. "So what do we do now?"

Vala Area - Day 15 - 15:42

"Yeah, I don't know if she would even know I am here ...
I guess we can wait some time.
If we don't meet her, we can just head south for now. Hoping we meet them somewhere else. I ... guess we'll come either to Kaisir, or to Palladein at some point. Maybe we can wait there a while, a week or something. If the others found out about traveling, they might show up, there. Or other world travelers." Anik said, after thinking for a bit.

Vala Area - Day 15 - 15:43​

"Well, the quickest way from Calibeth, to Kaisir would be going through Palladein. So we're heading there, regardless", Timea stated, then took another small bite. "I hope the sun will rise, before we're done in the south, however. Then I can just fly you two over the seas again, rather than taking a boat."

Vala Area - Day 15 - 15:43

"Ah yes, you are right. I really hope this too, the desert is really cold at night." Anik answered. "You mean, if it's warmer ... you don't need the blanket ... you can carry much more?"

The ice mage charged and fired a spike of ice as Shara went for him, aiming at her right thigh.

"That's right. It has to do with how much of myself I expose to the elements. If I made myself large enough to safely carry two people now, too much of myself would be exposed to the cold. Even with the blanket, the heating only goes out so much. Especially if I have it covered beneath skin. When the sun shines, I won't have this problem."
